Caramel or Caramel?

Requested by: Anonymous- Caramel Apples with Bucky. Bonus points if they argue over how to pronounce caramel!

You walk into the kitchen and find Bucky wearing an apron with his hair tied up in a bun. He turns from the pan in front of him on the stove and grins when he sees you.

“Hey, babydoll. I missed you today.” He keeps stirring and beckons you to him with his free hand. He tugs you to him when you get close enough and presses a kiss to your lips.

“Whatcha cooking, handsome?”

He tilts the pan so that you’re able to see inside. “Caramel. I was thinking we’d use the apples we bought to make a treat.”

You squint your eyes and scrunch your nose up. “What did you just say?”

“I thought we could make caramel apples?” He takes the saucepan off the heat and grabs the plate of apples. “Is that okay?”

“Oh my god! You say it so cute,” you grin at him and help dip the apples into the caramel.

He narrows his eyes at you. “What’re you talking about?”

“Caramel. I guess I’ve never heard you say it before, it’s cute.”

He places the tray of apples into the fridge to set up and leans his hip on the counter. “I say it like a normal human being, you’re the one saying it funny.”

“Nuh uh, you get a little accent when you say it,” You lean against him and nudge him with your elbow.

“Caramel.”

“No, Buck, it’s definitely caramel.”

“You sound so adorable when you’re wrong, sweetheart.”

“I’m not wrong!”

He swings you into him and lifts you onto the counter behind you. He cages you in with his arms and brushes his lips across your neck and trails up to your lips. He nips at your bottom lip and brings a hand up to cradle your cheek. “Let’s agree to disagree, sugar.”
