Can u do Tamaki x reader on watching a scary movie? Thanks :3

Thanks for the request! I’m honestly such a wimp when it comes to scary movies, so that’s kind of how I wrote this. I hope that’s okay. Enjoy!

“Do we really have to watch with the lights off?” you asked nervously as Tamaki put the scary movie he’d wanted to watch into the DVD player.

“Of course! That’s how they’re meant to be viewed. Besides,” he said, bouncing over and plopping down beside you on the couch, throwing an arm around your shoulder. “I’ll be right here to protect you.”

45 minutes, 3 dead cheer leaders, and a masked murderer later, the two of you were curled up together impossibly close. With wide, terrified eyes you watched as the girl ran upstairs to get away from the murderer, a sure sign that she was totally screwed and minutes from death. Your heart beat faster and faster as the murdered approached the girl. The girl screamed and you squeezed your eyes shut as tight as physically possible, burying your face in Tamaki’s shoulder.

“Oh God, Tamaki, please turn it off.” you plead, slightly muffled as you were refusing to lift your head. The girl’s screams got louder. “Please?” you asked, slightly hysterical. Until now, Tamaki had brushed off your reluctance to watch the movie as you simply not liking horror movies, but now he finally realized how genuinely terrified it made you and regretted begging you to watch it with him. In an instant the TV was off and his arms were around you, his hands rubbing your back in soothing circles.

“I’m sorry, Y/N.” he apologized. “It’s just a movie.” he reminded you, not knowing how else to make you feel better. After a few moments of silence, he quietly asked “You okay?” You nod slowly, your ear pressed up against his chest, listening to the sound of Tamaki’s heart beat steadily. Eventually yours begins to match his and you feel brave enough to lift your head, only to see a very concerned Tamaki staring down at you.

“Why didn’t you tell me scary movies freaked you out so much?” he asked, frowning. You shrug and look away.

“I don’t know… I just, I knew that you like them, and that you were really excited to see this one… and I’m sorry I made you turn it off but-” you start to say.

“You don’t have to apologize! I don’t want you to do things you aren’t comfortable with just to make me happy, alright?” he tells you. “Alright?”

“Alright.” you agree, grateful to have such a considerate boyfriend.
