Summary: A Tamaki x Reader drabble-thing inspired by one word generated randomly: “balcony”.
“O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou, Romeo?” you recited over-dramatically as you stood on the balcony of your hotel room, taking in the beautiful sights of Verona. “Deny thy father and refuse thy name. Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love and I’ll no longer be a Capulet!”
A pair of long, slender arms wrapped around your waist from behind as a voice whispered in your ear, “Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?”
You giggled and spoke in your regular tone, “I guess I shouldn’t be surprised the ‘king’ of the host club can recite Romeo & Juliet.”
Tamaki spun you around in his arms so you were now facing him. He flashed you his usual charming smile and asked, “So does this mean I’m your Romeo?”
“Nope.”
Tamaki gasped, looking completely dejected. “N-no? But I’m your boyfriend! I consider you to be my Juliet!”
“Tamaki, Romeo and Juliet died at the end of the play. I don’t want us to die!”
“It’s a tragic romance! It’s supposed to be beautiful!”
“It’s ridiculous.”
“Take that back!”
You smirked, enjoying how easy it was to tease the man you loved. “To quote Hamlet Act III, Scene III, Line 87… no.”
Tamaki immediately sank into a corner and began growing mushrooms.
