Snake
- When
most people say they love animals, they usually mean stereotypically
cute, furry ones, like cats and dogs. His S/O being super into the
snakes would be a pleasant surprise considering he’s used to
people being afraid of or hating snakes. He would really love
watching them interact with the snakes; especially because the
snakes all love them too.- Sometimes
Peter and Wendy would make flower crowns for Snake, so he has no
problem at all with flowers. (Unless they happen to be ones he’s
allergic to, of course.) Often when he and his S/O aren’t busy,
they can be found in the garden – with the snakes slithering
happily around them – weaving flowers into crowns, necklaces, and
bracelets for each other.- His
face just goes completely red whenever they say something nice to
him. Being half-snake, he’s immediately struck by the urge to just
find somewhere to hide whenever he feels threatened. Although
someone being kind to him is about the furthest thing from a threat
there is, it’s something he has very little experience with, so it
feels like he’s being threatened. Very rarely does he try
to squeeze himself into a small space because of it; usually he just
hides his face in his hands and hopes his S/O doesn’t notice how
embarrassed a simple compliment has made him.- Doesn’t
mind a lot of hugs once he gets adjusted to giving and receiving
them. Again, this is something he hasn’t had a lot of experience
with. He might jump the first few times, but once he settles into
it, he’s actually very cuddly and physically affectionate. He also
has no qualms about PDA, especially if he’s feeling nervous and
needs emotional support.- Whenever
something’s wrong and he needs to be treated by a doctor, he
refuses to be treated by anyone but them, even if it means having to
wait. Even though he doesn’t distrust other doctors, he’s just a
lot more comfortable with them. They have a wonderful bedside
manner, their touches are gentle, and he trusts them with his life
like you wouldn’t believe.- He
really, really likes their scent. It’s comforting to him, and he
always has a little piece of cloth or something with their scent on
it in his pocket. That’s just in case he’s away from them and is
anxious; their scent makes him think of them and immediately calms
him down at least a little. Regardless of what exactly they smell
like, when he’s asked about their scent, he always responds that
“they smell like home”.
Undertaker
- One
might assume that this isn’t the kind of person who’d make a
good match for him. Surprisingly or perhaps not, they’re a great
match. He thinks they have the most beautiful smile and laugh, and
spends a lot of time trying to come up with ways to make them happy.- The
fact that they’re a doctor means he’s constantly trying to pick
their brain about medical topics. Although he’s got a
knowledgeable team of doctors working for the Aurora Society
already, more never hurts when it comes to things like this. He’s
especially interested in any research they’ve done recently, and
plays it off as the simple curiosity of a mortician.- He’s
intimately familiar with things like the language of flowers, given
that he spends a lot of time around flowers for funerals. He doesn’t
make up arrangements himself, of course, but he knows what all of
them mean. His S/O shouldn’t be surprised if they receive a
bouquet that silently and scandalously announces his love for them.
(… More than once. The man’s smitten.)- All
types of animals tend to either love or hate him, so the jury’s
out on that part. That said, he adores their passion for any kind of
animal, and will happily come up with at least a million jokes about
their favorite animal to make them laugh.- He
loves, loves, loves physical affection. It always makes him
beam whenever they come up and hug him, and snuggling with them is
one of his few great joys in life. He will be forever ambushing them
with hugs and kisses, whether they’re in public or private. He
loves them and doesn’t care if the whole world knows it. Also,
whenever he mentions ‘sweet things’ and is asked what he thinks the
sweetest thing in the world is, he says it’s his S/O’s
kiss.- Their
kindness is one of the things he thinks is so fascinating about
them. How do they do it? How are they so polite to everyone, even
people who might not deserve it? Despite not understanding it, he
wants to, and he can’t help himself from just watching them to try
and comprehend how they can stand to be so kind to everyone.
