• His body is pretty open around them. When they talk he actually faces them, his arms aren’t crossed and he smiles genuinely. With others, his laughs and words are a little forced and his gaze occasionally falls to the ground.
• He’s actually a little more animated when he talks as well. It can be his hands moving as he speaks or his expression changing more often depending on the topic at hand.
• Proximity is also a big thing. Everyone knows about his personal space, but his crush is completely oblivious to it because he’s comfortable around them.
• It actually shocked everyone the first time their crush pulled a chair right next to them and he didn’t scoot away. Not that he makes it that obvious with others, but one second they’re next to him and the next he’s put some space between them.
• One of the biggest things, but might seem subtle, is that his words don’t have any double meanings when he’s talking with his crush.
• With others, he might be trying to get them to respond a certain way so he can use his quirk or so his quirk isn’t accidentally activated, but with his crush, he doesn’t have to worry. It comes naturally.
• He’s just that much more comfortable around them.
• And lastly, his crush would have been the first person to know why he longs to be a hero. This is not quite as subtle, but it’s what led other to realize that this person meant a lot more to Shinsou than any of them had thought.
• His crush might have let it slip and everyone was curious as to why they knew and they had just simply asked, which everyone else had already done and never gotten a straight answer so they knew.
• That might have been a big clue to their crush as well.
