Imagine you’ve had puppy!cree for awhile and you love him dearly, but you want some companionship and you’re afraid to get into a hybrid/human relationship since it’s somewhat frowned upon by society’s standards. So, you get into some online dating and invite some potential suitors to your home one after another.
McCree. Is. Pissed.
He wants you all for himself, and seeing these other people invade HIS home trying to seduce HIS owner is not okay. These little dates always fail because McCree always does something to drive your dates away. Anything from just being a petty brat, to even threatening them. He even got into a fist fight with one.
Fed up with this behavior, you confront McCree about it and he confesses his frustrations. He even gets a little teary eyed when he asks if he wasn’t good enough for you. He loves you unconditionally and doesn’t understand how you could prance around with other people like it was no big deal.
You admit that yes, you love him very much too. You were just hesitant to act on it due to societal standards, but McCree said FUCK THAT.
It was a bit of a struggle, but the two of you did manage to make amends and start… kinda dating??? Nothing really changed between the two of you. You’d just add a few extra hugs and kisses into your normal routine.
