Imagine Incubus Genji prowling the streets of Hanamura. He’s hungry. He spots you in the ramen shop and has taken a liking to you, so he puts on his human guise and approaches you. He uses his usual shtick, everything he can to woo you and it seems to be going well. He manages to convince you to take him home with you and he’s getting really excited. 

You get home and Genji swoops in for a kiss– but then… he’s not hungry anymore??? That’s weird, he hasn’t even had sex yet. He looks at you and sees you smile. His body grows hot and he feels an unfamiliar pang in his chest. He gives you another peck on the lips, thanks you for the lovely evening and leaves.

He doesn’t even get hungry again until much later than normal, but he does go to look for you again. All he has to do is spend some time with you, see you smile, give little kisses and he’s fine! 

As it turns out, you are his soulmate. He can feed on your love alone and it sustains him much longer than random sex with strangers. He can only wonder what sex with you will do to him.
