as much as young Michael really deserves loving family like Jack would be, I’m thinking of older Michael who is perpetually confused by affectionate puppy-like Jack who hugs him and offers to share nougat, after Michael gets sort of used to it though I think he was be happy and sad about it, someone who cares about him and isn’t scared of him at all, someone who is ‘like him’ even though Jack’s an opposite
