You and Tamaki evenly divide the household chores. Still, sometimes you’ll come home and find your share halved because Tamaki did some for you! Usually they’re the more time- and energy-consuming tasks like vacuuming or laundry. When you confront him about it, he admits he just wants to make your life as easy as possible.
You admit the sentiment is sweet and all, but the poor boy needs to take a break sometimes! Not only is it unfair, but you worry he’ll eventually burn himself out. He’s a pro hero after all, he shouldn’t come home and do three-quarters of the household chores too!
So of course you return the favor whenever you can, but even then he’ll hug you tightly and utter a stream of endless “thank you”s. He wants you to know just how much he appreciates you!
To show him how much he means to you, you make his bento (complete with his favorite foods cut into cute shapes, like butterfly sandwiches) in the morning and make sure his bed is warm and fresh when he gets home. It’s the small things that matter to Tamaki.
Perhaps your (and his) favorite is when you massage his aching limbs after work while showering him in compliments and loving kisses. It makes him feel on top of the world. And rightfully so because, well, he’s your world and more!
Whenever he can, he’ll bring home your favorite dessert! After work he’ll eagerly stop by your favorite local bakery and buy one or two of your favorite items. When he gets home, he’ll timidly hug you from behind and hold up the pink bag of desserts while planting a small kiss on your head.
Since Tamaki’s quirk requires him to have a large palette, he’s very well versed in different cooking techniques and knows how to cook a variety of meals! Because of this, he usually takes care of cooking any and every meal he can.
At first you didn’t want him to take over all the cooking duties considering how much he already does for you. But god do you adore the way he cooks. Not only does he lightly sway around the kitchen with a soft smile that reaches his eyes, your lovely husband also cooks wonderfully. All the finest chefs in the world have nothing on your Tamaki.
In reality, he doesn’t mind cooking one bit. It’s totally not because he likes the praise you shower him with as you scarf down his culinary masterpieces… Okay it is, but it’s also because he really loves to see you happy and full!
Tamaki is also good at baking, but to a lesser extent since his quirk can’t fully utilize desserts. Nevertheless, he acts like he’s bad at baking in hopes that you’ll take over that portion of the household cooking. It’s not that he minds baking per se, he just loves seeing you pour your love into your desserts then happily present it to him! Plus, he can’t hog all the chores (as much as he’d like to).
He absolutely loves blankets or towels that are fresh out of the dryer! On an especially cold winter day, he’ll ensure your shared bed has a fresh, warm blanket to cuddle in! If he’s home while you’re showering, he’ll also replace your towel with a fresh one from the dryer! Your satisfied and happy face when you step out of a steamy shower to be greeted by an equally warm towel is always worth the effort.
If you both decide to have/adopt a kid, he’ll make sure to be the best dad he can be! Sometimes you’ll wake up to find him dancing around the kitchen with your child, making bentos with cute shapes or singing along to upbeat pop songs on the radio!
Loves bubble baths! Ever since he married you, Tamaki has gotten slightly more confident in himself. Still, asking you to join him in the bath involves him hiding his blushing face behind the bath bomb. It’s not like he even has to ask you – you’ll join in a heartbeat – but he always wants to make sure!
When you finally get in the bathtub with him, situated perfectly between his thighs, he’ll talk about his day while gently scrubbing your skin with a loofah or washing your hair. It’s one of the few times he’s completely calm, just enjoying the innocent intimacy and quality time, free of all worries in the world.
Has candles everywhere. Every scent from cherry blossoms (his favorite) to aromatherapy relaxation candles. Better get used to the house smelling vaguely smoky all the time!
Loves to braid your hair! Sometimes he’ll randomly start braiding as you both watch a movie or as you’re playing on your phone. Adorably enough, if you try to return the favor he’ll fall asleep within a few minutes.
Definitely the type to set up a romantic candlelit dinner if he notices you had a particularly long day, complete with your favorite beverage, meal, and flowers!
Calls you cute pet names when he’s feeling especially outgoing! Sometimes it’s “love”, sometimes it’s “dear”, but usually it’s “my butterfly”!

Tamaki adores gardening! He’ll line the perimeter of the house with seasonal and perennial flowers of varying colors and fragrances. Much to his delight, this beautiful array will also attract butterflies!
Unfortunately, he can’t always tend to his garden since his job gets pretty busy. Naturally you’ll take over because the boy loves his flowers and butterflies far too much for you to let them disappear.
During more hectic and crime-ridden times of the year (like Christmas), Tamaki will constantly be on-call 24/7. When he gets home, he’s so emotionally and physically drained he instantly collapses on the bed and sleeps until he gets called back in. It’s a rough time for you both, but you try your best to lessen the burden on his shoulders.
Sometimes it’s by making breakfast in bed, sometimes it’s by texting him cute things during his workday. But perhaps your favorite is when you place his tired head in your lap and massage his shoulders as he dozes in and out of sleep. You’ll whisper “I love you” over and over again, tell him everything you love about him, and how glad you are to have married him.
