How do you think Dracula and Alucard would react to finding out someone actually did try to help Lisa and the church imprisoned that person??? Bonus points for that person getting into a relationship with Alucard??? If that makes sense…

Oh lordy this was fun, as much as I love a wholesome moment… >:) (I hope this is what you were wanting!)

Dracula:

• When he found out someone actually tried to help Lisa, he couldn’t believe it. He had a full on meltdown, someone, an actual person within the church. Tried to help an innocent woman…does…the world still have some good?
• One of the few things he will ask them is what they did to her, because he wants to the same back tenfold. He doesn’t care how gory or horrid it is, anyone that messes with his family should have known he doesn’t play around.
• He would stop at nothing to find this person. He wanted- no, needed to talk to them. He couldn’t care less whether or not they knew or feared vampires, he needs to know what Lisa’s last moments were like.
• Poor guy was already crying his eyes out when no one was there, imagine meeting the last person that showed kindness to a condemned woman. How could he possibly not become emotional meeting them?
• When they meet face-to-face, he can’t help but ask them about Lisa. He needs to know what she said, he needs to know how much she went through, he needs to know who is truly to blame…
• He already blames himself her death, but knowing there was someone there for her eases the pain slightly. It’s unexplainable how it makes him feel, but it is something that helps him get through it.
• Despite his gratitude towards them, he’s still upset that they didn’t save Lisa. He may throw a small hissy fit, but he’s honestly, can you blame him? The man lost the love of his life in the most horrible way possible.
• He won’t hurt them though, hell, he may even offer them protection during his purging of humans. It’s not really out of gratefulness though, it’s more on the ‘doing this favour because you did me a favour’ type thing.
• When he finds out Alucard has taken an interest in them, he’s…approving, but weary. He takes the time to tell his son what he thinks, but he also tells him that he needs to protect them, he doesn’t wish them same fate upon anyone.
• Sometimes he’d wonder if they did actually help Lisa. Yeah, what they said sounded like her, but at the end of the day, she’s dead… All he wants is his Lisa… and now, he’ll never see her again.

Alucard:

• Like his father, he demands to meet this person. Unlike this father though, he wishes to thank this person rather than question them. He doesn’t need to know what they did or why they did it, he’s just glad some good remains.
• When he meets them, he seems cold. At this point he has yet to come to grips with what actually happened, but if someone is there and understands what he’s going through, he’d be eternally grateful.
• He also may cry a tad. Unlike his father though, he doesn’t really mind showing how he feels to them. What he didn’t expect though, was actually being comforted by someone… it… really helped him… thank you.
• After knowing the person for a bit, he may ask about his mother during her final moments. He gets that it’s an odd thing to ask, but he wants to know if any more could have been done to save her.
• Once he’s done the whole sleeping in an underground protected coffin mourning thing, he’ll try to find this person again. He has so many questions and queries, now that he’s had some time.
• When he finds out they’re with his father in the castle, his reasons for going only increases. He knows what his father is doing and he doesn’t want y/n to be caught in the middle of it.
• After meeting them once more, he treats them like an old friend. It takes time for him to bring the situation up once more, but when he does he takes in every detail of both the story and y/n.
• This is the make or break part for him and y/n to become a thing. If all goes to plan, Alucard will ask them out, if and when they say yes, he in a way uses his mother’s fate as a reason to protect y/n.
• When his father finds out, Alucard is ready to throw hand. He couldn’t care less whether or not his father approves of the relationship. They cared for his mother in her final moments, he is forever in their debt.
• All he wants, all his little dhampir heart desires is someone to talk to. Not a friend to joke around with, but someone who’s willing to listen to his fears, emotions, his thoughts. Y/n may be the only person he can truly talk to about such taboo topics.
