Grandpa Vlad with little grandson headcanons?!

just-castlevania-imagines:

The Shy Prince

  • Don’t worry he’s quite small too
  • Un petit prince
  • Unlike his sister, he is the spitting image of his father, save for ears and eyes
  • His eyes match his mothers, but theres this glaze to them
  • They say the eyes are the windows to the soul and when Vlad looks at them he swears hes never seem so much life
  • He also bares a resemblance to his grandmother, Lisa
  • Vlad finds himself staring at his grandson for hours when he holds him, remembering what he lost and what he gained
  • He too is spoiled, portraits are painted.
  • But hes not as extroverted as his sister, it’s almost as if she “sucked” all his energy
  • He’d much rather stay in his room and play with his toys
  • Blanket forts are a big thing for him, he always has one set up in his bed
  • Grandpa Drac can never fit, hes too tall
  • So tall in fact, that when light passes him and makes a shadow, the little prince cries
  • Yes he is indeed scared of shadows
  • But when grandpa picks him up and holds him, he calms down immediately
  • It is not uncommon to find Dracula walking around with a child sitting up on his shoulders
  • It is also not uncommon to see at least a handful of stuffed toys decorating him
  • Nick/Pet names also hold the word little in them. Little prince, little one
  • But he finds himself calling him “my son”, perhaps he looks too much like his father?
  • He is fascinated by stories. His eyes light up when Vlad tells him a tale from years passed
  • “How did you meet grandmother?”
  • “My son, that is a rather long tale”
  • And the little prince would nod and run off only to return a moment later wrapped in a large thick blanket “I’m ready” ☺
