For the Halloween event; trick or treating. You once mentioned Sebastian was perturbed by nature. There was this post that said “what would happen if there were no oceans, rather, a forest that keeps growing the deeper you go? At one point you realise this forest is just not normal; the creatures in it are unexplored and gigantic. There is no light deep in it.” The idea made me stay awake a couple of times. Always observed, where nature is everything that reigns and you definitely can’t escape.

kuroshitsuji-scenarios:

You guys remember the things I said so long ago, I can barely remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday lol. Also, I know which post you are talking about, I saw it and it was awesome!

For some time, Sebastian remained quiet and soon you started to wonder whether he was actually listening to you for this whole time. His gaze seemed absent, directed toward the window and the heavy rain which was falling behind it, playing its rhythmical melody on the glass surface.

Right now, you would surely give more than a penny for his thoughts, to discover which part of your question managed to put him in such a peculiar trance.

“Well, I must admit…” he started, slowly turning his head toward you and putting the same, polite smile on his lips which suddenly didn’t seem as so kind.

It was almost as if your words awakened something deep inside of him and you weren’t sure whether you wanted to know what exactly, for his expression could be considered as frightening even. The tiny glimpse of his demonic side appearing in his dark eyes, the visible proof of how you managed to catch much more than his mere attention and so, his whole presence was aimed toward you.

“This is a rather interesting inquire. I wonder where could this idea come from? The one in which you believe I could be scared of something like that.”

He had to hold himself back when the sudden urge to laugh shook through his body, he didn’t want to scare you with his unnaturally wide and sharp smile, after all.

“The thing you are talking about is not frightening for me in the way you think it could be, my dearest,” Sebastian explained. “My eyes have seen things much worse than that and as much as I appreciate your effort, I have to admit that the place I come from is much worse than even the deepest forests, and the creatures living there are far more terrifying than your human mind could comprehend. However…”

The butler leaned forward and took your hand in his to place a soft kiss on your knuckles, never cutting the eye contact between you so you could clearly see the burning fire withing his demonic eyes.

“Since I’ve vowed to be honest, I will admit that you were not completely wrong,” he added. “My home is not a place I would like to come back soon to, after all.”
