loved and respected by all.

but the kingdom fell

and he was imprisoned.

When time ceased to be tangible, a devil arrived

and offered him a pact to regain all he’d lost.

“Come closer” Adam said tiredly, “I am weak now, and my eyes fail me.” The devil obliged,

and Adam consumed him.
