write-it-motherfuckers:

The air was cool and refreshing, the sky dark and stars bright, making it a beautiful night for the little one to play. The child’s giggling was like tinkering bells, as they danced around the garden, chasing the fireflies with a carefree innocence that only children seem to master.

Hearing a rustling in the bushes, the child paused in their play, curiously stepping closer. A man stepped out from the shadows of the trees, clothes dishevelled and slightly dirty, eyes focused intently on the child, gleaming with greed. Terrified, instinctively knowing that this man should not be here, the child tried to take a step back. Quickly, the man lashed out, gripping the child’s arm tightly.

“Hey, hey! Calm down. I ain’t gonna hurt ya. I wanna help you. You’re not safe here kid” The man spoke quickly, voice hushed and nervous.

The thief had seen the child, while he was trying to look for something to steal from the imposing castle, something that wouldn’t get him ripped to shreds by the devil within. He could see the fine clothes and jewellery the kid wore, they had to be from a family of high standing. He would get a pretty penny for rescuing a little human child from the clutches of such evil.

The child only struggled more, letting out a loud cry, their vocal cords not seeming to work quite right. The man cursed and quickly tried to yank the child closer, terrified of drawing the attention of the monster he knew lurked here. How the child hadn’t been killed already, he had no idea.

Suddenly, a large hand clamped down on the mans wrist, bones grinding together painfully, and forcing him to release the child. Now free, the little one quickly scampered into the strangers hold, clinging to them desperately and sniffling.

The would be thief, found himself following the hand gripping him, up to the creature towering over him, the very devil he had been trying to avoid. The Vampire scowled furiously down at the thief, shielding the small child away from view. He squeezed the mans wrist until it let out a satisfying crunch, and sneered down at him.

Don’t Touch My Treasure.
