Ok guys this thing is like two years old and I’ve created Cuddlers before I saw Space Caterpillars (just like I made a snow fight before the “snow” fight, so obv now I’m just waiting for some Klance hugs and kisses to caught up), so I’m sorry if this is confusing, but I can’t change Cuddlers, that’s how they came.
So the most important things you should know about Cuddlers:
They are fluffy and generally pastel colored. They live off warm feelings – without cuddling they will become weak; if other creatures don’t have time for them, they cuddle each other. They can be as small like hamsters or as big as rabbits.
They will only cuddle up to people who want to cuddle; if you don’t feel up for cuddling they will leave you in peace.
They love to cuddle especially to : a strongly beating heart, hands and hair! They really love hair: they will nibble at them, tangle inside of them and leave you with a nest worth of a month without a brush. They don’t exactly talk, but like to repeat, usually just short words or syllables; they like using names for things or creatures. They purr when happy and they like to say “R” instead of “L”.
They have an empathetic kind of connection with other creatures: they can understand your emotions (when you are sad, terrified, nostalgic etc.) and they know whom are you thinking about (one of the reasons why they learn names so fast; they just get a certain image/feeling about people you think about and easily connect it to the actual creature). So they will know who makes your heart beats faster. In a way they are hardwired to build bonds with others.
I also have Paladin’s first encounter with them described and some sketches with others but I’ll be back to it another time!
