A/N: I tried to do this in a general way, as in including FFVII, Crisis Core and all, but I’d be focusing more on Advent Children ^u^

• He might not look it, but Cloud is super gentle and sweet and takes good care of you
• Teasing Cloud by calling him ‘Chocobo Hair’ or any other playfully affectionate nicknames that he secretly finds endearing
• He would stare at you and smile to himself when you’re not looking
• Hearing Barret call him ‘Spiky’ and playfully nudging him, earning a slight eye roll or quiet sigh from Cloud
• Playing ‘make Cloud smile’ until you win and he grins a tiny bit in spite of himself
• Not much physical contact from him, but he nevers rejects yours
• In fact, you always take the initiative when it comes to PDA
• Like throwing yourself to hug him
• Or kiss him in the cheek
• Or cuddling
• Especially when you’re cold (since you use it as an excuse)
• Or cautiously peck him on the lips
• You always make sure he’s okay with it, though
• He does love holding your hand, it calms him and comforts him
• So he will sometimes hold it out of the blue
• Cloud would give you tiny kisses that you never expect
• And when you ask where that came from he’d shrug
• And say he just felt like doing it
• Jokingly imitating his deadpan voice
• Which earns you looks from him
• Which sometimes triggers the tinitest of smiles on him
• Enjoying when he gets flustered because you’re so affectionate
• So you often randomly hold his hand or put your head on his shoulder or hug him
• Him being super protective of you
• Riding Fenrir with him and having to hold on to him because he always goes super fast
• Looking after him when he gets motion sick
• Even if he rarely does anymore
• He visits you home from time to time
• In fact, you smile whenever you hear a motorcyle near your house
• Because you know it’s Cloud
• Cloud senses when you’re feeling sad, and you love the way he comforts you
• He just quietly sits by you in silence and makes an effort to reassure you with physical contact
• By placing an arm over your shoulders and attract you toward him
• Even if you know it’s hard for him, but he tries for you
• Because he hates to see you upset
• In fact, he feels like weeping himself when he sees you crying
• Cloud is too hard on himself
• So you try to help him out
• Even if he’s not too cooperative
• Helping him come to terms with his past
• And with everything that has to do with Sephiroth and him
• Trying to get him to open up
• Sometimes he’d randomly voice his worries to you
• But he shrugs it off quickly and pretend it didn’t happen
• And getting more in touch with Tifa and all his friends
• Hanging out at 7th Heaven
• And chatting with Tifa, Barret, Yuffie, Cid and everyone
• Looking after Denzel and Marlene sometimes when Cloud’s busy
• And when Tifa has to tend to the bar
• Often going to the church when you can’t find Cloud anywhere until he eventually shows up there
• Sometimes you even fall asleep waiting for him and wake up at home and you smile to yourself thinking he brought you back
• Taking care of him when he gets sicks because of Geostigma
• Slowly getting more intimate and affectionate as Cloud forgives himself
• And then leaving all your awkwardness and struggles behind
• And being so happy together
