he’s such a hopeless romantic and he’s read so many books, you cannot tell me some of them weren’t like romance etc
so my boy took tips from these books wanting his proposal to be the most amazing thing you’ve seen because he just loves you so much
so he’s been preparing it; ordering flowers, setting up an entirely secret room that you had no idea of and planning everything to the dot
when the day came, he left little notes strewn around the castle promising a ‘treasure’ at the end of the search
you were amused somewhat but played along
when you opened the door, he immediately took you into his arms, pressing his lips to the top of your head; there were roses all around and the moonlight was shining right over you through a large window
pulling away, he took your hands into his, bringing them to his lips before getting on one knee
to say you were freaking out was a massive understatement; your heart was beating out of control and your cheeks were practically on fire
when he asked the question, you merely jumped into his arms, peppering his pale face with kisses while he chuckled and held you to his chest
“shall i take that as a yes?” he teased and you rolled your eyes
“of course, idiot.” you sighed in content “a million times yes.”
for the honeymoon, he would probably take you on a tour of the entire europe; what with the whole moving castle thing, it was easy peasy 👀
he was also able to speak so many languages, making your way around countries meeting many a famous ghouls, vampires etc
he’d also get you to try various foods from different countries and got a several painters to make portraits of the two of you to hang around the castle, next to the ones of his mother and father
he just wanted you to have an amazing time, wanted to see the world with you by his side
waking up next to you is probably his favourite thing, just rousing early in the morning to find your arm strewn across his chest while cuddling closer
he’d run a finger down your cheek, pushing away stray strands of hair while smiling in soft content
his slender fingers would then comb through in the gentlest of manners, careful not to wake you before leaning down to press a kiss to your cheek
“hmmm, that tickles” you’d yawn, sitting up with a small smile, wrapping your arms around his neck while making yourself comfortable in his lap while allowing him to merely hold you close for a few moments
