Not going to lie, the first time I read this entry I thought that by “chick magnets” you meant chocobos. I really don’t know what I was thinking, maybe about baby Prompto, but I was very confused as I read through all of this the first time because I read “chick magnets” and I was like “baby chocobos”.
My first confusion was “wait, no, I don’t- how…how are cute kids- how do they attract baby chocobos? I don’t understand…” and I kept reading and it was only after I re read it that I was like “OH NO WAIT, HUMAN CHICKS, AHAHAHAHAHA!”
And honestly I’m not even embarrassed about this.

This has EVERYTHING that’s needed in life. Baby Prompto, Papa Cor, and Cor being an awkward lamppost when people try to flirt with him.

Cor taking toddler Prom for a day out is so, so adorable. :’3 He wants to bond with his little one, and wants Prommy to have fun. I imagine Cor holding his hand in every moment, or carrying him in arms at times (it’s easier, because Cor is very tall and Prommy is tiny, so having his hand held is a bit awkward for both), and Prom being a happy ball of sunshine looking at everything with his huge adorable eyes, poiting, pulling from his hand or pants or bouncing in his arms and telling him where to go or asking him endless questions.
*sigh* Papa Cor bringing toddler or kid Prom for a fun free day is just such a lovely mental image. I’m madly in love with it

Hahaha, and then the main part of it; people approaching to say hi to Prompto, and women being attracted to them like metal to a magnet because IT’S A SUPER CUTE, ADORABLE LITTLE KID, HGNDFJGNFDJN
I love the idea of Cor being an awkward, super awkward and shy potato when it comes to social interaction, especially with people he doesn’t know. So I see him awkwardly and very nervously standing there while people come to say hi to Prompto. Happy child Prom says hi back, giggles a bit when people make something funny, gets excited and everything; Cor stands there not knowing what to do with his hands omg or where to look or how to say Hi without sounding stupid.
But the worst cases are when it’s women.
They’re standing there, a woman comes close “Hi! Can I say hello to your kid?” like usual, they go down on ankles or bend down to say hi to Prommy, Prommy is at first a little shy but easily gets comfy in their presence, he plays, says Hi, giggles a bit, tells name and age, lets them poke his nose or pinch his cheek, but suddenly they look up and “What is your name? :)”
AND COR IS JUST

THEY TALKING TO ME ヽ(°〇°)ﾉ
Most men and some women just talk with Prommy, and with Cor it’s just “Hi, can I say hello to your kid?” “He’s adorable” and “Thank you, good evening.” BUT SOME WOMEN AND SOME MEN JUST…START TALKING TO HIM? AFTER THEY’RE DONE WITH PROMMY THEY TALK TO HIM?????????
And it’s not nice, no, omg, no! Just- please- talk with my kid he’s better at this than I am, ofmdghf, please Cor don’t say anything stupid, please just don’t, ahddsfs, I didn’t exit the house mentally prepared for interaction that wasn’t my child’s and me *screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-*
And there we have, awkward papa Cor stuttering and taken off guard, scratching behind his ear as is his Shyness Tic, answering, being awkward, and far too nervous.
The worst cases are when ladies start flirting with him, both because they make him twice the nervous and because he doesn’t even notice what they’re doing

And it always starts because Cor always slips the info out that he’s a single dad (BECAUSE HE WANTS IT THAT WAY, DAMMIT, NO, HE DOESN’T WANT A WEDDED, SHOO) so ladies are like “Omg then it’s fine to flirt with him aaaaaaah”.
What they don’t know and what they’re underestimating is Cor’s best ability to NOT NOTICE THE FLIRTING.
“He’s absolutely adorable. A treasure of a boy. You’re a lucky dad. :)”
“Uh…yeah…”
“Have we met before?”
“No.”
“Yes, I think we have. I think our kids are in the same class?”
“Hmm…no, sorry.”

y’know how cute kids are supposedly ‘chick magnets’? poor papa Cor on his day off, just trying to take Prompto on a fun day out, go the eat at the Crow’s Nest, go to the park, ice cream, ect, and of course people keep coming up to coo at Prom, and he soaks up the love, Cor with (tho awkwardly) answer questions about Prom, but then women are coming near him? complimenting him on caring for Prompto? its weird? he has no clue that they’re flirting but high tails it out of there with Prom in his arm
