What would it be like if the child Sakamaki brothers were watching a scary movie with mom and they get scared so they go to her for comfort?

Shuu:

-He’s never dealt with a scary movie before, and it’s probably going to get to him bad. He’s generally a pretty brave kid, but when something does scare him, it ends in him refusing to be alone in the dark for weeks. He sort of tries to act tough, but it’s pretty obvious that he’s seeking out comfort.

Reiji:

-It takes visible effort for him to admit that he’s afraid, and you’ll probably be able to tell that he’s shaken up long before he tells you. Distracting him with a book or just talking to him goes a long way, and it’s best to make sure that he doesn’t feel childish or like a nuisance for needing your attention.

Ayato:

-He hates admitting that he’s scared, and will play tough for as long as possible. When he finally does crack, it’ll probably be through something along the lines of sliding into your bed in the middle of the night and hiding there, stuffed rabbit in his arms even as he still tries to deny that he’s afraid.

Kanato:

-He doesn’t hesitate in the slightest to burst into tears and/or crawl into your lap. He probably is genuinely scared, but at the same time, it’s not like he’s going to miss a chance to get your attention and comfort. He’ll cry for longer than necessary, mostly in an attempt to get you to fuss over him.

Laito:

-He’s more likely to whine about it than anything, but he’ll only go straight to you for comfort if he’s really scared. At that point, you’ll basically have him glued to your waist, sniffling and having a small crying fit over how scary the movie was. There’s no way he’ll sleep by himself that night.

Subaru:

-He doesn’t like admitting that he’s afraid, but he will sit there with an absolutely petrified look on his face. You’ll have to turn off the movie pretty quickly and distract him, otherwise he’ll suffer in silence because he doesn’t want to bother you. And he considers needing comfort to be a bother.
