Can I get some headcanons featuring Alucard and his s/o who’s the biggest sweetheart ever? Like they’re just so gentle, and soft, and kind to everyone. Basically the biggest cinnamonroll who’s in love with the No Life King. Thank you so much and love your work!!

• I think he’s incredibly frustrated when he’s first falling for them. He’s surrounded by cruel masters and domineering queens -why is he having feelings over this soft little thing?
  
• But something about them lands them a spot in his heart. Maybe it’s the way they keep reaching out even when he bites, the refusal to be hardened by the world around them –some maddening inexplicable thing draws him to them.
• After a long time of trying to convince himself that surely his heart hasn’t been won over by kindness of all things, he gives in -decides “why not see where this goes?”.
• He’s very appreciative of the tremendous amounts of affection. The biggest benefit of such a sweet S/O is how often he gets to feel their hands on him, how much they smother him in kisses.
• He gets a little possessive. He knows it’s irrational when he actually stops to think about it, but part of him wants to hoard their softness all to himself.
• He teases them more than most. He loves seeing them get flustered, loves seeing their blush when he murmurs something filthy to them, loves seeing them get all fired up in contrast to their usual demeanor.
• God forbid someone else needles them, though. He’s decided this sweet little thing is his, and he has a very low tolerance for anyone upsetting them or taking advantage of their kindness.
• He’ll still let them fight their own battles of course–he’s not the coddling type. Gentle as they may be, he trusts that his S/O can stand up for themselves when needed.
• He just.. happens to bump into the person that upset them later on and, if that person is suddenly too disturbed and paranoid to function, or if they fall out of a very high window, Alucard certainly can’t be blamed for it.
• As much as he teases, he does enjoy stepping down from being the Big Bad Vampire and playing the charming prince in private. He’s all about those hand kisses. He loves dancing with them. If his S/O is a woman he refers to her as his “little lady”.
• There’s a sense of .. peace, being with them. Just spending quiet time with this gentle person, who has no ulterior motives or intentions to use him for destruction and whatnot. It disturbs him at first, he’s very uneasy about it, unsure what to do with such a genuinely tranquil feeling, but he soon grows to love those moments with them more than anything.
• It’s certainly because of them that he becomes softer over time, able to be more lenient with Seras and weep openly upon Anderson’s demise. Whether he likes it or not, they remind him that he still has a heart.
