I’ve been thinking about the newest book and Asra’s route is so bittersweet to me :’ ) 
I mean imagine the fact Asra thinks about his parents every night not knowing whether his parents is alive or dead only to be consoled with whatever they left for him. Same goes to Aisha and Salim. Being stuck in the other realm with the thoughts of their baby alone and afraid or even worse he might have got killed by Lucio. The worst kind of pain is never knowing how the other party is. I guess maybe that’s why Asra was willing to take such risks for the apprentice.
