Duncan would be super anxious because he’s never really had a serious enough partner to introduce them to his mother, he’d be anxious the whole night because he knows how his mother is (she’s nice to everyone’s face but doesn’t say her true feelings), but later when you’re about to leave his mother gives you a big hug and tells you how happy she is that Duncan met you. He’d practically cry from relief.
