Michael, stressed out in the candle section of a store, juggling like twelve different kinds while his bf watches: “But… maybe my father would prefer eucalyptus? But, there’s lavender. Or maybe green tea? We should just stock up on different ones, yeah”

his bf would just rub his shoulders, laughing quietly, “i think he is more interested in what youre doing during the ritual than how our living room smells, baby,” he would reassure him.

bf’s mom just knows that Michael’s family wasn’t a good one and takes it as her mission to give that sweet boy all the love he can take! always giving him hello and goodbye hugs, calling him her son, making sure he’s eating enough and telling bf that he better be treating her sweet Michael right or he’ll be the one on the streets (all kidding but it makes Michael giggle every time)
