Yomo
Yomo and his s/o were walking down the street, hand in hand, as his s/o hummed lightly to a song he vaguely remembered. He was walking them home because his s/o had very strongly insisted on it. When the both of them reached his s/o’s house. they turned around to smile and peck his cheek. ‘So, I’ll see you tomorrow then?’ Yomo nodded and muttered a soft “yeah” while he watched his s/o fish out their house key. ‘Great! I’ll meet you in front of Anteiku tomorrow,’ they smiled and turned to open their door. ‘Hey, _____?’ Yomo said as he reached out to grab his s/o’s wrist. His s/o turned around to see a faint blush across his cheeks, he looked at the floor hesitating a bit before meeting his s/o’s curious gaze. ‘I love you, _____.’ He said. His s/o smiled, their eyes sparkled his excitement and they threw themselves on him. ‘I love you too!’
They pouted, ‘but, I really wanted Kaneki to read it to me…’ they opened their book and continued to pout while reading it.
He tried to let them be, he really tried but the guilt was too hard to bear. He gulped down his saliva and scratched his cheek, eyes darting everywhere hoping to somehow find the answer to this solution.
‘O-Okay. I-I guess it’s fine if y-you really want me too.’ a blush crept up to his cheek as his s/o immediately turned to him with the brightest smile he’s ever seen.
His s/o handed him the book they were reading, their eyes seemed to sparkle with excitement as Kaneki scanned the book for a good place to start. His s/o scooted closer to him and waited patiently for Kaneki to start; it took him awhile but as soon as he’s gotten used to it, word flowed smoothly out of his mouth and his s/o swore that falling asleep listening to him would be a waste.
A light smile graced his s/o’s lips as they leaned their head against his shoulder. ‘Hey, Kaneki…’
