i think Prom would be the type to not ask for things? like, he doesn’t want to be bratty like some kids he sees who throw tantrums and demand things and make their parents mad, he doesn’t want to make this hard for Cor, but instead just longingly looks at things he wants before walking on, but Cor, he’s a sucker and loves his perfect son and always buys the item being Prom’s back and gives him it later (Noctis does it too)

Yes, exactly! YEEEEEEEES SOOOO HARD! 

Prommy looks exactly like the type of person and child, to not ask for things, perhaps too shy and very for sure with this guilt sort of complex where he feels like if he asks for too many things he’ll come off as “demanding”, “a brat”, or more frequently and mostly he’ll think he’s “making papa waste money” or “bothering him”, for absolutely no reason other than just his own train of thoughts; Cor has never given him reasons to think he could be a bother, it’s just Prommy building his own fake ideas the poor sweet anxious angel </3

It’s super cute, though, because Prommy, whether as child or teen or adult, can be super excited about something, but he’ll just stand there and longingly look at things. It’s cute in a slightly sad way, to think of him with the heart in full blossom and so excited and omg he SOOOOO wants that, but he’s too shy/scared to ask asdjpsodfjpogjd

All I imagine is toddler Prommy standing in front of this display window staring at some toy like it’s the love of his life, but when Cor asks him what he’s looking at, he’ll immediately stop staring because “A-ah! It’s nothing, papa”, but Cor notices and anyway gets the thing for him.

How do you think teen Prommy got his first professional camera? Cor knows his son and he wants him to be happeh

Cor first got from a little disposable camera because Prom was always borrowing his phone to take pictures (lord knows he couldn’t figure out the camera on that thing) and Prom was so! happy! like the ‘we’re going to the chocobo farm today’ level of happy, and he took so many pictures, Cor could see how happy he was and tacking them all over his wall! his next birthday Cor got him a real camera a few years later, for Prom’s 13th he got a professional camera Cor saw him staring at the shop window

Prommy being the most excited little boy for cameras and photos, HOW CUTE IS THAT DAMMIT!? Boy knows since he’s tiny what his passion is, and the angels blessed him with one damn incredible dad that notices and supports it so much and so dear :’)

Cor tacking all the photos Prommy takes to the wall. Imagine, though. Imagine. 

Imagine when Cor realizes that half the photos are of himself. Maybe blurry or cut and whatever you want, but it’s him. And for context I’ll tell you something I learned in photography class once: we tend to photograph things we fear to lose and, hence, things we love. ;w;

IMAGINE HOW HAPPY PROMPTO WAS WHEN COR GIFTED HIM THAT FIRST PROFESSIONAL CAMERA THOUGH. BOY WAS COMBUSTING AND EXPLODING ALL AT ONCE. If he was ecstatic for his first disposable camera, imagine him now that he’s both much deeper into photography than he was back then, and getting a professional one!
