I love how in FMA, you have all these longstanding friendships/partnerships with romantic undertones as most of the love stories.

And then there’s Al and Mei. Al meets Mei, and she instantly gets these incredibly unrealistic expectations of how manly and gentlemanly and perfect Al is. And, normally, a show would have her learn he’s not all that. But instead FMA has Al proceed to prove every single one of her expectations right and the fantasy is never broken for a second.

Young!Vampire Michael decides to enter a Catholic cathedral where he would easily be mistaken for an angel with his innocent looks. It’s half to see if the whole “vampires on hallowed ground” thing is true and half “I just wanna”. With blood and viscera coating his face, Michael laughs giddily at priests or nuns warding him off with crosses and prayers. His maker and Jim are watching Michael with exasperated yet fond looks

I’m so here for bratty young Michael being a complete and utter terror, but I’m even more here for it when you stick him on hallowed ground. And “I just wanna” is ABSOLUTELY a young Michael mentality.

His maker just watches him with a small smile, yet they roll their eyes. They are both amused and Done™ all at once. Jim just finds Everything Michael does to be utterly hysterical.

Vampire!Michael’s maker calls him baby boy and Jim is darling 💙 They’re collectively referred to as “my boys” or “Lost Boys” (Michael loves it because of the vampire flick + Jim because he loved Peter Pan as a kid and now doesn’t have to grow up). I love vampires being able to fly, and that’s one of their favorite group activities. They’ll access the streets far below their luxury penthouse and return with no one knowing they ever left by flying.

Those fit them both so well. (If I had to pick one pet name for Jim, it would absolutely be darling) And asdfghjkjhgfdsa they are literally Lost Boys and oh my god, you’ve killed me with this concept.

But imagine that whenever they’re making out or cuddling, Young Michael is afraid his boyfriend will discover the mark of the beast and think it’s weird but bf is unfazed or finds it cute
