benhardy1 Reunited with an old friend today. This kit has seen blood, sweat and tears. But it’s where my #bohemianrhapsody experience began… #namethesong
Rushing into the room at the sound of Peter’s curses and yelps of pain, you skidded to a stop at the sight in front of you.
“Stop laughing!” Peter whined as you burst into giggles, a tangled mess of Christmas lights surrounding and hanging off of him.
“How did you even get yourself stuck like that?” You calmed down, though still grinning at him, moving to help slowly unravel the twisted strings carefully.
“I tried using super speed to untangle them all at once but then they ended up looping together.” Peter groaned.
“Maybe we should just leave you like this and you can be our new Christmas tree.” You teased.
“Well, you are the greatest gift I have so does that mean I can have you under me on Christmas morning?”
“Peter!” You yelped as he grinned cheekily. “Do you want me to keep you tied up like this?”
Putting a finger against his lips to shush him before he could reply, you sighed.
“Wait, so you’re telling me this is your first, real Christmas?”
Warren shrugged at your expression of disbelief, playing idly with the end of a string of shiny tinsel that was lying around. The entire school was getting ready for the holiday season and excitement flurried in almost everyone.
“When I was younger, all my Christmases were just going to rich, fancy parties with my parents. I never got to decorate, eat the typical dinner or get presents.”
“I always think your life could never get sadder but then you prove me wrong.” Peter piped up from across the room, speedily creating strings of paper snowflakes to hang up. “I mean, even Kurt and Ororo celebrated Christmas, and they had way worse childhoods than you.”
Peter yelped as Ororo punched his arm, and Kurt shook his head as he sat, perched upon the rafters.
“Ha, ha.” Warren rolled his eyes. “I never really cared much about Christmas anyways.”
“Well that’s going to change this year.” You declared. “You’re gonna get the Christmas you never had. Starting, with decorations.” Smiling, you tossed him a Santa hat which he just held up dubiously.
“Put it on!”
“You know you want to.” Scott chimed in with a grin, snickering at Warren’s scowl.
But his frown faded as he met your eyes, glimmering with enthusiasm, lips curving up in a smile he would do anything to see. Sighing, he tugged it on, grudgingly getting up from his lazy position on the sofa while everyone cheered.
“This better be worth it.” He warned, despite already knowing it was as you gazed at him.
“Come on you big baby. Let’s go help Jean with the tree.”
