Prompt 72 with 2D “You deserve so much better:”

It was one of those days where 2D was feeling extremely shitty about himself. His personality was under the rug, he enthusiasm was no longer there and all he wanted to do was suffer in silence. 

“2D, you ready?” Your voice said as you popped your head inside his bedroom. But he didn’t look the slightest ready to go out. 

You quickly realized that he was in a funk and your plans quickly fell out the window. You ran towards his bed and seen the tears stained pillowcase. Your heart broke. 

“Baby, whats wrong? Are you okay?” You asked as you kicked off your shoes and got into bed with him. 

“No. Why are you with me? You deserve so much better. I really don’t deserve you,” 2D said as he covered his face with his pillow. 

You wanted to cry. 

“2D, listen. I don’t want anyone other than you. I don’t deserve better because the better is you. Anyone that I date is a fucking downgrade. Please understand that,” You whispered as you hugged him. 

2D sighed. 

“Please, just hold me,” 2D said as he latched onto you with a iron grip. 

And you did. 

2D’s reaction to his partner asking for head?

Stuart Pot (2D): 

  • He would be stunned. If this was his first time hearing his partner ask for it, he would be a little flustered. 
  • He would do it no doubt. He loves pleasuring his partner a lot more than he does himself. 
  • He would try to tease you. Lick you from the inside of your thighs and make you wait forever. 
  • In the end, he loves pleasuring you like I said so if you were to ask him again, he would do it, no doubt in his mind.

  • He would be clingy towards you if he started to feel like he wasn’t getting any kind of attention. 
  • If he was the one who wanted the affection, he was going to get it because this kind of situation didn’t come around once in a while. 
  • He will start leaving kisses around your neck, shoulders and arms. Just give the fucker attention.  
  • He would probably turn the sweet and loving time into sexy time which isn’t a bad thing either.

Stuart Pot (2D):

  • He loves, loves, loves being clingy. That’s actually nothing new to you because he loves romance. 
  • He would leave you kisses on the cheek and whisper sweet nothing into your ear. 
  • He would also start to tell you how a lot of the songs that he wrote that had to do with love were inspired by you. 
  • LOVE HIM AS WELL. HE NEEDS ALL THE LOVE IN THE WORLD GOD DAMN IT.

Stuart Pot (2D): 

  • He loves that he has a super clingy partner. You sure as hell won’t catch him complaining about it. 
  • When they get sick or hurt for whatever reason and they can’t cuddle him as much as they usually do, he feels upset for some reason. 
  • When he goes on tours, he makes sure that he brings them along or he will have an anxiety attack. 
  • He will fully embrace a cuddle. It doesn’t matter what he is doing. If they come up to him and ask him to cuddle, he’ll bring whatever he is doing and work on it while cuddling them. 
  • He feels so loved when they cuddle with him, it brings him hope that not all people are cheating bastards. 
  • Tug on his hair and he is done for. He’ll become like silly putty. 

hi love!!! if ask is open do u think u could maybe do hcs for 2d and murdoc with a s/o who’s a sleep cuddler?? like always wanting to be cuddled or cuddle someone?? thank u ily!! (also im so glad there r a bunch imagines blogs popping up everywhere!! this fandom needed some lol)

Murdoc Niccals: 

  • Murdoc would say that he doesn’t like people who cuddle him but that is a god damn lie. 
  • He lives for his partner to curl up to his side and cuddle up to him. 
  • If their head is laying on his shoulder, he loves it when they run their fingers lightly on his chest. 
  • If the two of you fell asleep, the two of you would end up with your bodies tangled up against each other. 
  • If you fell asleep first, he would whisper things into your ear. Telling you how much he loves you and how he wishes that you would never leave him. 

Stuart Pot (2D):

  • 2D lives for cuddling up against you. He loves it when you get clingy and want to be cuddled. 
  • If you fall asleep first, he would think out loud and start imaging things of the future with you. 
  • Lean against his chest and you will have him like jelly. He loves it when you lean against him and use him as your human pillow. 
  • He wouldn’t mind it if you came up to him while he was trying to write a song and want to cuddle. He always claims that he gets for inspiration when your around. 
  • He just loves affection god damn it. 

Alright how about 2D’s s/o protecting him against Murdocs wrath 👺 cuz my boys to good and needs some muscle lol

I’m picturing this phase 2 and 3, I feel like that’s when Murdoc’s issues were the worst.

Murdoc Niccals:

  • 2D has always been a pushover so when it comes to Murdoc’s heavy-handedness, even if he does occasionally egg him on trying to argue with him or bring up sensitive topics. After the first time you see him hit Stu, you stay more alert around Murdoc when he’s around. 
  • You know they tend to argue a lot, but you also know violence isn’t the answer to any of that and the poor boy has suffered enough at Murdoc’s hand. You also know his anger is directed at 2D so you’re not afraid that he’d want to hurt you. You use this to your advantage. 
  • The next time you see them arguing, you step in quickly, pushing Murdoc away before he has a chance to raise his hand. You make sure to cling to Stu whenever he’s around, just in case. 
  • You disguise your protective nature with cuddles and kisses so 2D doesn’t suspect you’re trying to keep him from danger, he’d only argue that you’re putting yourself in harm’s way. 
  • Eventually, Murdoc would learn that if you’re around there’s no chance he could take anything out on 2D without possibly hurting you in the process, which pisses him off but also wards him away.

The band with a s/o who has they’re own band and it’s the vocalist, your blog it’s AMAZING!!!

Russel Hobbs:

– Very interested in your style of music, and wants to hear a lot if not all of your music

– He’d like it if you sung him to sleep. It would be very peaceful for him to have your voice rather than his usual background noise

– Russel tells you every time he hears one of your songs in public/on the radio. he believes you need to know and loves seeing your smile each time

– He’d really, really enjoy it if you were like 2D and hummed/sung to yourself all the time, or at least when doing household chores.

– VERY supportive, he brings your band up in interviews when appropriate and mentions how much he enjoys your vocals

– After every new song your band releases, he tells you what exactly he liked about your voice and the vocal stuff that stuck out to him

Noodle:

– Before Noodle even listens to your music she has a copy of every cd, it’s a good thing she actually LOVES it

– She gives each band member a copy too

– She makes you listen to all of them as you go joyriding one night and asks a lot of questions

– Makes you sing for her ALL the time, you’re honestly a little scared she might ruin your voice

– Like Russel, she would want you to sing her to sleep but demand that once you go to sleep you put either your music or something else on, so she doesn’t sleep in silence

Murdoc:

– Murdoc believes your band is second on the throne to Gorillaz

– He makes an effort to go to all of your shows but sometimes his conflicts with them

– He tells EVERYONE about you and brags about knowing you whenever he can honestly. After he’s done jerking himself off over Gorillaz, he brags about you a lot like “have you met s/o/n? they’re in b/n and it’s kickass’

– He’d suggest you open for Gorillaz tbh and he’d justify it like; ‘No, no, i don’t want to see you more. you guys are just good.’ but he definitely just wants to go on tour with you

– Murdoc honestly loves hearing your voice whenever your songs are on the radio or through his earphones. it’s grounding for him

2D:

– He’d heard your songs before and listened to a couple interviews but the connection between you and the lead singer just never clicked? it wasn’t until you brought up your band and he was trying to figure out where he’d heard that before that it clicked

– When it clicks, the only thing he’s really interested in is hearing your, as he calls it, ‘acoustic singing voice’. He’ll definitely ask you to sing for him and if you don’t he’ll just look up your band

– Absolutely falls in love with your music, he even tries to bring up doing a Gorillaz/your band collab with Murdoc.

– He wants to hear you sing some of Gorillaz songs, and he swears it only for him to ‘hear how your voice sounds in the Gorillaz style’

– 2D is very excited to have a vocalist s/o, he feels like you two can really connect further than he would with a non-vocalist s/o. He thinks the similar job is another factor that would bring you and him together

The band meeting and taking care of one of 2Ds kids

2D: Normally he’s only expected to pay child support and never pop up again so when he was given the chance to actually meet one of his kids he was excited. He’d make an effort into actually being a good dad, he does want to be there for his kids after all. Of course he’s not perfect and does get a row for sneaking them the occasional cigarette 

Murdoc: Most of the time he makes a point of staying away from other peoples kids but he’ll make an exception for 2D’s spawn. He tries to see if they have any interest in music, not to sell them out but to actually give them advice if they need it. He also makes a point of telling them the most embarrassing stories about their dad any time he runs into them

Noodle: When a blue haired kid starts showing up frequently it isn’t hard to put the pieces together. Being a natural big sister she takes them under her wing and treats them like their her little sibling. She can relate to having a weird family situation and tries to be consistent with them, meeting up whenever they tag along on a tour

Russel: He first ran into one of his kids backstage after a show. After learning it was one of 2D’s kids he strikes up a conversation not wanting them to feel ignored. After a while he finds he actually gets along with them, it helps that their a bit gobby like their dad. After a few nights they end up making their own running jokes, shooting glances at each other and going into fits of giggles

Domestic 2-D and s/o headcanons btw ilysm and I hope you have a good day

– He is the absolute worst when it comes to stealing clothes. It doesn’t matter if it’s three sizes too small, he will nick that hoodie from you
– If you share a bed you notice he’s either a massive blanket stealer or he can’t have a blanket within 50 ft of him
– Whilst you both try and split the housework you end up having to help him with chores. You’ve had too many white shirts ruined because he left a red sock in the wash
– He tends to go to bed a bit after you and sometimes when you come downstairs you find the remains of his late night “adventures” and they are questionable at best
– He’s actually a pretty decent cook when he knows what he’s doing. Some of the meals he makes include spaghetti bolognese, fajitas and the occasional beef burger.  
– On days were one of you is particularly busy the other makes them a pre packaged breakfast and/or lunch
– Whilst you don’t have many framed photos in the house you keep a polaroid of the two of you laughing on a drunk night out
