• his overprotectiveness stems from good intentions

• but sometimes he can go a little over the top
• callum doesn’t want you practicing sword fighting bc you could get hurt
• you rolled your eyes at that and told him that if you ever needed to fight, you get more injured if you didn’t know how to fight this if you did know
• whenever you get hurt, he rushes immediately to see if you’re okay
• callum stays by your side as you recover, gently kissing your cheek
• it’s really cute seeing him protect you since he can barely protect himself
• in turn, while he thinks he’s the strong one and saving you from danger, it’s often times the other way around
• callum is the one that mostly needs protection and you’re ready to do everything you can

• he was currently taking a break and saw you practicing with a couple other guards
• and damn was he impressed
