tony stark stopping by some teenage patients on his way out of the psychiatric ward, assuring them that it’s okay to feel helpless and scared sometimes, that even in his stongest suit tony sometimes feels weak, and that breathing gets easier when you share the air with your loved ones instead of shutting them out. he sighs a breath of relief when he realizes that the kids still looked at him with awe instead of pity looks he usually got when opening up about his anxiety
bucky barnes visiting a childrens hospital when he meets a young girl who’s leg had been amputated only days ago, so he stays by her side for hours and tells her all his terrible prosthetic-related jokes that usually made steve sad but this little girl was out of breath laughing at “my favorite color is army green” and him saying how she’s a legend for putting up with his horrible puns, and he feels something warm bloom in his chest when she laughs again. he was good for something, after all
clint secretly holding sign language classes in a nearby grade school, and meeting this cute little boy after the class that signed him how he felt happy that there was a superhero who also couldnt hear and if mr. hawkeye can fight evil deaf then surely tommy can become a scientist, and clint just ruffles the kids hair in reassurance, leaving the classroom before the kid can see him cry
Gruff daddy Logan who is secretly a softie! Cuts stray fibers with his claws. Opens snacks with his teeth and methodically twirls an adamantium tip in a juice box hole because if he just jams it in there it’s going to explode.
He knows. He’s learned
Wade showing up at Xavier’s with, like, six kids street kids because ‘he found one’ and then ‘they made friends’ and ‘it’s wrong to separate them’
Kurt seeing himself in a devout child who curls up in the pews on a cold, lonely night. Or worse, sees them nabbing a few coins/bills from the collection plate and decides to give them something to eat instead of scaring them off or lecturing them.
He grew up around circus kids. He can take care of them! It’s like second nature!
Steve has unofficially adopted AT LEAST TEN KIDS before he went under the ice. These little scamps somehow always found a way into his shows and were the proudest fans he had (often times walking a long way). He remembers being a scrawny kid from Brooklyn that had to put newspapers in his shoes on cold days and just can’t turn his back on them!
That’s not the way Captain America does things!
He gets people to find their closest living relative (if any) and sets up savings bonds for them. Always carries snacks because someone’s going to need one. Peggy helps him carry around random bundles of clothes to give away.
When he wakes up from the ice and finally gets Buck back? These guys are supportive parent dream team #1! Bucky’s the frank one that tells the truth about the world. Steve attempts to sugarcoat it while indicating Bucky’s right and yes, the world sucks sometimes. Bucky shows the kids that you can’t judge someone for how they look (he looks ‘bad’ but is no longer ‘bad’) and shouldn’t assume that what you hear is right because you don’t know the whole story.
Steve is very encouraging. “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s how he fights.”
Stark doesn’t stop at one kid. He has the money to save so many. He doesn’t want kids to feel the emptiness he felt when his parents died. He doesn’t want to see society kill the light in their eyes.
Their hopes. Their dreams.
Stark tends to get attached to the underdogs. The kids who aren’t afraid to tell him to fuck off or outrun him. These kids have ingenuity and fight.
Smarts.
They’ll make it and he wants to help them. He knows they’re putting on a face and he’s ready to be there when they break down.
Soon it becomes a thing, and Stark Tower is like a revolving door for kids.
Especially with the Avengers.
Thor brings little Asgardians down to play and learn about Earth culture. Sometimes Sif or The Warriors Three will join him to tell stories and prove that they are, in fact, real.
Bruce Banner shows up on day, bashful, and says ‘This is Paoloma’. It’s some scrawny, rubble-dusty little girl he found halfway across the world when someone tried to jump him and he Hulked out. She toddled out, not knowing any better, and calmed him down. Hulk got attached to the tiny thing and, well, here he is…
And Clint? Clint’s the worst!
He wants to give all the children a home. When he and Nat go on missions and there’s a kid involved, they usually put them to sleep and drop them off at a relative’s house but more than once Barton has almost bailed and kept the kid with him.
Only Nat and Fury know.
Fury is just aggravated because now it’s like dealing with fifteen Tonys when he visits and some little girl with braids and a bean-filled Mjolnir just tried to hit him in the dick.
So, I found these pictures on Pinterest and this happened *shrugs like a shrub* just little write ups I did for the pics…I don’t even know why I wrote the little things….bye…
Baby Bruce, Baby Hulk Dragon, known for its giant size and bursts of destructive rage, the Hulk is usually a docile and quiet dragon, friendly but shy to most.
Baby Bucky, Baby Dragon Soldier, dragonapped by hunters (hydra) this young dragon was cruelly forced into obedience of it’s horrid captors. (SAVE THE BABY BUCKY DRAGON)
Baby Clint, Baby Dragoneye, develops strong bonds with those he cares for, resulting in much loyalty. With arrow like barbs on it’s tail, the Dragoneye is almost as dangerous as the Dragon Widow when needed, usually very friendly and likes making new friends.
Baby Loki, Adorable and bright eyed the Frost Dragon, as its name suggests, does well in cold climates there it originated. Not the friendliest, but cares a lot more then it tends to let on.
Baby Nat, The Dragon Widow has been trained by many groups of hunters for centuries, small and stealthy with poison barbs on it’s tail the Dragon Widow is a force to be reckoned with, even at a young age. Is many times seen as cold, but is actually a dorky dragon when comfortable enough, it is sometimes tricky to know exactly what is going on in the Dragon Widows mind. Though it is trained to be a dragon of quick battle, prefers to avoid conflict when in its own control.
Baby Sam, A Falcon Dragon, friendly and loyal the Falcon Dragon is one of the best flyers in the dragon kingdom, though many Falcon Dragons are wingless land dwellers that admire their flying brethren from the ground, the dragon rehabilitators (shield), make many of them sets of wings so that they could once again soar alongside their allies. Though friend, the Falcon Dragon can be quite sour to someone they aren’t particularly, not mean per say, more rude and bickering. Even after the ‘enemy’ is considered a friend.
the Dragon of freedom! it will not be your servant or control under any circomstances, will fight for the freedom and protection of all other dragons and animals to save them, hates hunters (hydra) with passion for the dragonnapping of his childhood (dragonhood?) friend Bucky.
Baby Thor, The Thunder Dragon, a dragon normally only found in Asgardian lands, he can control lightning with his powerful hammer-like tail. One of the friendliest dragons too, is completely loyal to his friends and family.
Baby Tony, The Iron Dragon, smart and usually found near forages melding metal into various contraptions it is careless about most things besides its works and is a regular hoarder of gold and riches. The Iron dragon tries to stay far from conflict and has an affinity for younglings, though will never admit.
Clint A full grown Dragoneye! its main attack technique is flinging arrows from its tail with deadly accuracy
Loki Frost Dragon, a master of illusions that prefers being the top dragon in its territory of choice, if needed will find new lands with lesser dragons to still be the ruler. Though not the strongest or fiercest the Frost Dragon prefers to live in solitude or near weaker beings, it is not fond of others once it has been deceived or betrayed. Once hurt it will not trust quickly.
Natalia A full grown Dragon Widow, the deadliest of all, a silent and terrifying killer, magnificent to see in action though you may not live to tell the tail. The Dragon Widow can complete any task they are given without trouble or fail, many tricks up it’s scales in combat and one of the most intelligent of dragons
Steve, Dragon of Freedom, thick skin that can take more than a few hits, a protector of weaker species, after being alone for so long will do anything to find and save his dragonhood friend and do all he can to protect those he befriends along the way. The large round bone like scale on it’s tail is impenetrable, oddly enough the scale, like spikes and arrows can be flung with accuracy at an enemy before reattached to it’s tail.
Thor, The powerful and Mighty Thunder dragon, at first glance its power and muscles will terrify approaching hunters, dragons, and humans alike. electricity and power surge through it’s hammer tail and it’s roar, like thunder. But is really just a super friendly puppy of a friend who loves making friends with all who enter his realm. Do not be fooled though, when he or his comrades is threatened will quickly battle and defeat his foe.
