Leo, Steven, and Zapp were already in this post right here, but I’m totally down for writing for Black and Despair! 🙂

Black

• He’ll be in the middle of a panic attack or his mind will be moving too fast when his s/o will enter the room. Black almost immediately begins to relax as they near him.
• He adores being near them and cuddling with them, since he’s much more at peace and happy than he normally is.
• It’s more than wonderful when he and s/o travel through the city and he’s not being as jumpy as he normally is.
• He’ll often make a beeline for his s/o whenever they meet up, automatically taking their hand and resting his head on their shoulder.
• His s/o is absolutely perfect for when he needs to unwind from a stressful day at the diner as well. Instantly, he’ll end up falling into their arms, far less bothered by things that were said or that happened to him than he was before.

Despair

• Despair thinks he’s actually a fairly… well, if not calm, he thinks he’s fairly levelheaded and logical, which makes the difference of s/o being around all the more shocking for him.
• (mini-hc that i’m inserting here: despair highkey has depression that’s grown and distorted as time has gone on, leaving him perfectly apathetic and distanced from humanity! that’s why he’s called himself despair.) 
• In reference to that earlier point, being around his s/o actually makes Despair feel far less apathetic and makes him happier.
• Since he’s not quite human and is far more attuned to energy-based things, he can sense his s/o’s presence far sooner than others and will noticeably relax whenever they come near.
• He’ll always have a specific soft smile that he saves for whenever his s/o comes near, and his voice gets far warmer and softer. He’ll be far more affectionate than one would expect as well!
