SUMMARY: HE WOULD ENDURE A CRAP MOVIE JUST TO BE CLOSER TO YOU.
The popcorn tasted stale.
It took him a while to realize it was the same bowl of popcorn you had had two days ago, purposeful negligence playing a part in the unsatisfying crunch. He felt that you were fitful in his arms, squirming when the suspenseful music droned out from the speakers surrounding you both.
“If it tastes bad, gimme a few minutes and I’ll make us a fresh bowl. I bought that fancy organic shit. So, just keep playing the mov–”
He, out of everyone, relates to your situation the most. All his life his morals have been questioned, so he can sympathize whole-heartedly; this also makes him the best person to go for comfort.
He’s heard about you through the grape-vine, and he doesn’t like what the rumors imply. He knows you, your heart is good and intentions pure– makes him angry and frustrated that someone like you is getting that kind of treatment.
The first time he heard any negative comments directed towards you, Shinsou immediately questioned if you were alright. It broke his heart, your sad smile and quiet “It’s fine, I’ve gotten used to it over time” he’s used to it too, but he knows he shouldn’t be. You shouldn’t be either.
He’s protective; finds a kinship with your shared issues, he won’t let anyone bring you down if he can help it. His looks to anyone who dares insult you are deathly; strikes fear in anyone’s heart. He’s touchy a bit too, afterwards– holds your hand or stands closer than normal. He’s very honest, will honestly tell you how much he admire you and your quirk– it’s hard no to believe him
Aizawa Shouta
Aizawa is not a shallow man. He doesn’t look at physical features as much as he looks for how well their personality fits him, or if he can logically see himself with said person. It often takes him by surprise when he remembers not everyone thinks this way.
He finds it a waste to judge people on their quirks– a person can’t help what they were born with, why is that so hard for people to grasp? While he isn’t one to take insults to heart, it does bother him when he sees someone being ridiculed for something they can’t control.
He’s never thought much about your wings besides their functions and usefulness; they’re hard not to notice but they’ve never bothered him. It’s a little shell-shocking for him, to hear insults thrown your way for a pair of wings…the surprise turns to anger of course, when you tell him you’re used to it. It’s a stupid thing to be used to.
Like Shinsou, he’ll glare. Cold, bone-chilling black eyes staring at you with a promise of death is enough to send anyone for the hills. If there’s someone who won’t leave you alone–he get’s physical, using his capture weapon or activating his quirk for extra intimidation points. He compliments your quirk in a more…logical way– often pointing out all the good you could do with it, or how the colors look nice against your skin. He tries, he really does.
Hawks
All his life, he’s been praised for his wings. His quirk is strong, useful in every sense so it’s no wonder how loved it is. He’s never really dealt with harsh feedback before– anything similar is easy to brush off.
That being said, when he meets you his first focus is your wings. Doesn’t really pay attention to how they look other than the fact that they’re fucking wings, and he can totally bond over that. It gets lonely in the sky sometimes, having someone who can accompany him is so ideal!
Honestly, it’s never past his mind how creepy your wings may come off. He’s too nice and excitable for his own good– and while he’s very aware of the cruelness and unfairness of the world around him, it’s still a surprise to see people wary of you. He may be cocky and a little bit egotistical, but if he cares for you he’s always ready to make sure you’re alright. His heart breaks with your sad smile, the words making it even worse.
He’s more vocal than the other two– taking time to gush about you and your quirk until you’re red in the face, more gentle touches against the skin of your wings and other parts of you when he notices you feeling down. He’ll call out anyone on the spot who makes harsh remarks– since he still has to keep up public appearances he doesn’t let himself look too angry, but his calm expression matched with tense words can be very scary to cross with. He makes it known that you’re with him, and anything wrong said about you does not fly.
▪️ Boy is he romantic. You have a man that will make the most of every holiday and make it cute as fuck. New Years? Valentines? Halloween? Christmas? You already know he has something planned.
▪️ Always remembers your anniversary and your birthday. Always gets you something. Even if you’re the type who doesn’t like receiving gifts (Or extravagant ones) he can’t help but to get you something.
▪️ Loves the look on your face when you smile because of something he does. It sounds simple yes, but hearing you laugh or seeing you brighten up after he makes a joke means everything to him. When you catch him just grinning and staring at you afterward, it’s because his heart is filled with the most warmth and lightness he’s ever experienced.
▪️ Yes, he’s such a shameless romantic. He will say things like ‘you are the reason I smile every day’ or ‘it’s because of you that I am able to fly’ even though you know damn well he can fly because he has wings and not because he loves you.
▪️ He takes way too many pictures and videos of you. It’s like he can’t help himself.
▪️ When you cuddle, he likes to shield you with his wings like they’re a giant blanket. One because it makes you giggle, and two because it separates you both from the rest of the world.
▪️ PDA is no problem with him. He’s not ashamed of it. Although that doesn’t mean he’ll be making out with you on the street or something. Pecks on the lips, cheek kisses, holding hands – that sort of thing is common.
▪️ He’ll often stay awake at night, staring at and watching you. It sounds a bit creepy, yes, but he just can’t get enough of your calm, tranquil expression. Peaceful and in such a soft state. It makes him realize how much he wants to keep you safe.
▪️ He isn’t often a jerk on purpose. He’s very honest with you, but not rudely blunt. No lies. If you get into an argument, chances are it’s because he’s doing something fishy because of his job and legally/ethically can’t tell you. So it seems like he’s lying or doing something suspicious.
▪️ After fights or arguments, since they’re bound to happen, Hawks is the best at both apologizing and making it up to you. He shows up with a basket of chocolates or flowers or stuffed animals and that stupid, sexy grin on his face melts your heart. He frees up all the time in his day and night for you.
▪️ When he wants to get you something special, he goes all out. Expensive jewelry is his go-to, since that’s easy, but he’s also extremely fashionable. He knows what fits you and what looks best on you (Or rather what he’d love to see you in) and will buy it for you. You become known as the fashion couple.
▪️ It’s vital that he keeps you separate from his work. It’s near impossible to do that however, but he tries his hardest. The thought of you getting wrapped up into it, considering how dangerous it is for him currently, terrifies him.
▪️ If Dabi or any villain mentions you at all, whether in passing or as a veiled threat, Hawks immediately shuts it down. There’s clearly no playing around with you. Perhaps his seriousness on the topic is what ends up making you more of a target in the end…

To this day, you couldn’t fathom how Hawks was able to find any comfortable position with those monstrous wings of his. With the playful breeze that caressed the back of your neck and sent a shiver down your back, you thought you could hear his feathers scuff against each other as the wind slithered through them.
“I don’t get how you’re not uncomfortable.” The words tumbled from your lips along with a few grains of rice and spit. You pocketed as much as you could into your cheeks, bloating them out but also obstructing your speech less. “Like, I know you gotta have to sleep on your stomach a lot, right?”

A = Affection(What are they like with affection, public and private?):
Hawks is big on public affection. He won’t go overboard with it since he does have a reputation but he will hold your hand and kiss you. In private, it is worse. He’s so clingy, it’s insane.
B = Boast(How often do they boast/talk about your to other people?):
Omfg, all of his coworkers literally tell him to shut up. He talks about you all time and it’s isn’t that they hate you but they just want him to talk about something else for a change. They haven’t met you yet but from what they hear from Hawks, you’re an amazing girlfriend.
C = Communication (Are they good a talking about how they feel and listening to how you feel?):
Hawks is the kind of who doesn’t deal with communication well. He’s very private with his emotions. Outside of giving you love and affection, he’ll suck at telling you he’s sorry and doesn’t say it. He will listen to you if you have a problem but he’s awkward at giving advice. Just ease him into it.
D = Dates(What are common dates and how regular are they):
Hawks was the one to say that he wishes pro heroes had more free time so dates don’t always happen on the regular. He’ll try to squeeze two dates in a month but it doesn’t always happen. One at max. The dates usually consist of going out to any restaurant of your choosing. He knows he can charm his way through any check so he’ll take you to one of the most expensive restaurants there is.
E = Effort (How much effort do they put into the relationship?):
It’s usually a lot of effort on your part. You know the job he has is crucial to literally of society and you have to bend over backwards a lot. He knows you can do so much better and the thought of you leaving him scares the fuck out of him so he tries as much as he can.
F = Flirting (How do they flirt and how do they react to being flirted with)
He thinks he’s good at flirting but LMAFO NO. He makes an ass out of himself a lot and doesn’t even flinch when people reject him. Although he does flirt a lot, when people do it to him, he gets a bit shy and a little sheepish.
G = Gift (How often do they give you gifts?)
A lot. Since he can’t be there a lot of the time, he’ll leave little notes on the door with a necklace or a bracelet. It’s his way of appreciating you and will do it at least once a week.
H = Health (What do they do when you’re sick?):
He’ll take two days off of work to deal with the brunt of the sickness. He knows the second and third day of being is the worst so he’ll take them off. He’ll run to the store and get you whatever you need. He’ll even ask around his job for any kind of remedies to make you feel better.
I = Insecurity (How insecure are they in themselves and the relationship?):
More than Hawks puts on. He’ll see you with any other guy and he’ll get instantly jealous. He knows that he could lose you in a second and like I said previously, you could do a lot better so he’ll get insecure very quickly. He just doesn’t show it physically.
J = Jealous (How often do they get jealous and how do they react?)
Like the previous bullet point, a lot. He’ll react very sarcastically to person who is making him jealous. He won’t be malicious towards you but he will be very quick witted to the person who’s trying to make him jealous.
K = Kiss(What are their favourite kisses and where do they kiss you the most?):
He’ll kiss you a lot on the nose. He thinks it’s so cute. He’ll kiss you a lot on the forehead as well. They’re very pure and simple and it’s his way of saying he loves you.
L = Love(How often do they say they love you and how do they show it?)
He’ll say he’ll love you when he knows he’s going to venture off to fight a villain who is stronger than usual. It scares you to hell but you know he loves what he does. On a day to day bases, he’ll pick you up flowers or bring you dinner from your favorite place.
M = Marriage (Do you get married? When?):
Hawks is the kind of boyfriend who doesn’t necessarily want to get married. He’ll try to find a girlfriend who will be okay with being life partners. If he asks for your hand in marriage, it’s at the spur of the moment and will do it without a ring. He’ll take you to a shop the next day and let you pick the ring you want. Any ring at any price.
N = Naked (What’s their reaction to seeing you naked?):
At first, he’ll get this smirk on his face. He won’t realize it until you chuck a shoe at him and scream at him to leave. After that is a different story. He’ll get a blush on his face and won’t look at you in the eye for a while.
O = Occasion(What do they do on special occasions?):
Anniversaries and holiday’s, he’ll take you on vacation. Even if it is for a day, he’ll take you Paris early in the morning and let you tour the entire city until the time comes for the two of you to leave.
P = Protective(How protective are they over you?):
He’s on the defense all the time. He is a well known hero after all and being seen in public with you can warrant some unwanted attention. Hawks will train you if you aren’t a hero yourself. He takes it extremely serious and will train you for days at a time.
Q = Quirk (How do they use their quirk in relation to your?):
If the two of you have quirks that work well with each other, he’ll sign you to his hero agency. He won’t necessarily have you as his sidekick but if the two of you do work really well together, he’ll take you to some of his missions.
R = Relax (How do you two relax?):
You have to force the fucker to relax a lot of the time. You’ll pin him to the bed and make him stay for a while. It will usually consist of watching shitty movies and order takeout.
S = Save (What are they like when they save you?):
If he first meets you and it’s by saving you, he’ll try to act all smooth and charming but he’ll be very flustered. You’ll tease him for it and that’s when he realizes that you’re the one.
T = Temper(How often do they lose their temper with you?):
Hawks will try to control his temper with you but it isn’t anger that he has problem with. It’s more with the sarcasm and wit that he needs to control. Sometimes he’ll be a straight up asshole to you without realizing it and when he sees you about to kill him (not literally), he realizes he fucked up.
U = Upset (What do they do when you’re upset and what do you do when they’re upset?):
If he’s upset, you’ll try to get him to talk to you about whatever the problem is. If its you that he’s upset with, you’ll give him his space and when he’s ready to talk, you’ll try to fix whatever the problem is. If you’re upset with him, he’ll buy you chocolates or food in order to call it a truce.
V = Vacation (Where would you go on vacation together?):
Anywhere you please! He’ll take you to any place you want to go and if he wants to go to any place in particular, he’ll take you after the place you picked. It’s a 50/50 split.
W = Wash (What’s it like to shower/bathe with them?):
If it isn’t sexually, it’ll be such a fucking mess. He’ll splash water all over you and will fuck around so much. It’s like bathing with an adult but with someone who has the mindset of a child sometimes.
X = X-ray(How do they react to you being injured?):
One of the few times he’ll be serious. If it’s because a villain caused it, he’ll make sure that the villain pays for what he did and more. He hurt the love of his life and will make sure you get justice. He’ll ready for whatever you need at any given time.
Y = Yearn (How much to they pine when you’re not around?):
If you leave for an extended amount of time, he’ll get more annoying and clingy to those around him. Everyone basically begs for your to return so they can get Hawks of their hair for a while. You’re his anchor and when you’re not around, he gets very impulsive.
Z = ZZZ (What are they like to sleep with?):
YOU WANT TO SNAP HIS NECK SOMETIMES. He’ll literally slap you in the face with his hand by accident. His wings don’t make it any better and sometimes, you’re ready to slap him with a pillow. You get used to it, even if you don’t want too. You’ve tried to get two different beds but in the same room but the minute you mentioned it, he flipped out and refused almost immediately.
