I loved the Anubis Headcanon you did the other day! As a fellow lover of Egyptian mythology, I gotta ask for some Horus BF Headcanons! Personally, I see him as more relaxed and loving, being the polar opposite of Set.

flavorfullfluff:

I had fun with this, but i feel like more could definitely be added to this info, Also i don’t outright say in this one he is a god or some kind of nonhuman, but there is something implied. I just can’t think of anymore at this moment. But i hope you like this little concept~

WARNING: mention of abusive past relationship

  • When you first met Horus it was at the local
library. You had caught glimpses of the handsome man there before but never had
you had a chance to speak with him. Then you finally got your chance one day
because he sat down at your table right across from you. The conversation
started as you might expect: what are you reading? You tried very hard not to
ask about his odd glasses, one lens all black, you assumed he must have
    problems with that eye.
  • That day you found out he was a professor at the
local college and that he taught a special course on the history of Egypt’s
rulers. You also found out he also regulars the little bookstore / coffee shop
that you’ve been going to since high school. So of course you did the brave
thing and asked if he’d like to meet up there some time. He seemed a bit
startled by your question at first, but accepted anyway.
  • The two of you began meeting regularly to have
morning coffee with each other before work. You would ask him about how his
classes were going and he would ask you about your work. You really enjoyed his
company because unlike your other friends he was so much more…relaxing to be
around. It was like he cast a calming aura over whatever space he occupied. He
was very sweet too, always complimenting how you look and giving you confidence
    boosters even when not necessary.
  • When your meet ups evolved into having dinner
together and visiting each other’s homes you were ecstatic. Although you did
begin to notice something odd. Not about Horus actually, but there was this
bird that seemed to follow you around when you were alone. It looked like a falcon
of some kind and at first you dismissed its presence, but you began to notice
it more and more. It would just sit and watch you. Of course you told Horus
about it, but for whatever reason when he was around the bird was nowhere to be
    seen.
  • Oh and you did eventually learn the mystery of
his one black lens. His left eye was damaged in an accident when he was younger
and he was one of the first people to test a cybernetic optical implant. He could
see out of it perfectly fine, but he kept the glasses on because he figured he
looked less frightening this way. But you loved his cybernetic eye; his iris a
silvery white with a thin blue ring around it and the pupil a similar shade of
    blue.
  • As you became very close with Horus you found
him to be a very timid but adept lover. But for a long time he wouldn’t tell
you about the scars on his lower body. When he did tell you about them it was through
bleary eyes of angry tears. He had had a horrible past lover named Set, beyond
the act that delivered the scars he didn’t talk much about what had happened in
that relationship. You swore to yourself if you ever met this Set guy you were
gonna rip him a new one.
  • Now knowing about his past you take every free
moment you get to make him feel loved and appreciated, not that you didn’t
before, but you really tried to up your game. He seemed embarrassed by it at
first and would smile but not really respond to your flourish of sweet words
and kisses. Sometimes he’d even try to refute your compliments or say “you’re
too good to me” but you weren’t gonna let him get away with that. It was going
to take time, but you wanted him to feel like he was worthy. Because looking
back you could see in your relationship with him that he would always turn
around your sweet words so that he could direct them at you. When you were both
in a group of friends he never accepted compliments from them either.
