(WOOOO another one lost in my drafts! Isaac baby I MISS you)
Isaac’s had a crush on you for years, but he’s very shy and he can never really build up the courage to do much more than stare at you from across the library
He shows up at the little coffee shop you work at every saturday morning just to see you, but he always leaves before you build up the courage to go start a conversation with the curly haired boy
He catches himself doodling your name with his last name, and groans while he buries his face in his hands as he realizes how screwed he is
You catch him looking at you one day, and send him a small smile that makes him drop the stack of books he’d been holding
You literally run into him in the hall one day, sending both of your books flying everywhere
“We really have to stop meeting like this, Lahey.”
“You know myname?” He stutters out in disbelief as he hands you your science textbook
“Of course I do. Your name is Isaac Lahey, and you come to the coffee shop I work at every saturday, and you also sit behind me in history and make cheesy jokes under your breath when you think no one is listening.” You grin at him, blushing a little
He’s stunned and a little dazed that you’re actually speaking to him, but brushes off his shock to send you a heartbreaking smile
“And you’re Y/N, and you sit in front of me in history and laugh at my cheesy jokes when you think no one can hear you.”
“Do you want to go get coffee or something?” You ask him as the bell rings, not quite wanting to stop talking to the cute and surprisingly funny curly haired boy
“I’m taking that as a yes.” You grab his arm as his jaw drops in shock, leading him out towards your car
The car ride to the little cafe down the street is filled with you singing along mindlessly to Isaac’s favorite song as he soaks in the fact that holy shit, the girl I’ve been crushing on since first grade is going out to get coffee with me
That’s the moment when Isaac knows he’s really fallen for you, and hard
After ordering, he asks why a girl like you wants to be seen around a guy like him, and you have to stifle a laugh
“Because any girl would kill to be seen around a guy like you. Those assholes back at school don’t know what they’re talking about.”
He’s too shy to ask for your number, but when driving him home, you slip a sticky note with your number on it into his hand with a smirk as he gets out of your car
You guys become really great friends after that, and even though he’s still kinda shy and reserved you have no problem breaking down those barriers
You guys continue leave each other sticky notes plastered everywhere, with reminders and little notes that make each other smile (a tradition that never really fades)
Screw butterflies, you give him the whole goddamn zoo
Everything from shared smiles from across the library to accidental brushing of hands sends Isaac’s heartbeat off the charts
You’ve noted that he has a habit of running his hands through his hair when he’s nervous, and can’t help but wonder what makes him so nervous every time he’s around you
You can instantly tell when he’s lying about getting those bruises from falling down the stairs, but you don’t demand answers or push
He confesses about his father’s abuse to you at your house when studying, and you spend the rest of the night consoling him.
“Any time you need a safe place to stay, I’m just down the street. Okay? I’m always just a phone call and a few miles away.”
After he gets the bite, you’re the first person he comes to
He’s crying as he tells you everything because he’s afraid you’ll hate him for becoming a monster, and he doesn’t want to lose the one thing that he actually cares about
“Hey, you’ll never lose me, okay? I’m here through thick and thin.”
You pulling him in to a hug, his arms wrapped around you in his signature bone crushing hug that never fails to make you feel like everything is going to be alright
The bite gives him a whole new outlook on life, and you can’t help but smile at his newfound attitude
Isaac’s new confidence is definitely a turn on..
He shows up at school in a black leather jacket, wearing a smirk that makes your knees go weak, and it takes all your might not to kiss him senseless right then and there
“Well, hello beautiful.”
You roll your eyes with a laugh as he leans lazily against the locker next to yours, not noticing him looking at you with something akin to awe in his eyes
“So, you know how now that I got the bite, and I’m going to be living with Derek and everything now… Well, I wanted to thank you- well, I wanted to tell you… That, I-” Isaac stutters out, his nervousness showing through his collected exterior
“Isaac, are you okay?” You ask in concern, gently closing your locker and facing him so that your face is only inches away from his own
“I wanted to tell you something important.” He chokes out, sighing lightly as he takes your hand in his. “And if I don’t get this out now, I’ll never tell you. Y/N, the truth is that I’ve had a crush on you since the first grade, and I-”
Then your lips are on his and your hands tugging him closer by his leather jacket, unable to help yourself from kissing the incredibly sweet boy who had stolen your heart
Isaac tenses a little in surprise before melting into the kiss, gripping your waist firmly as he pulls you closer to him
“We should have down that a lot sooner.” He whispers breathlessly as he rests his forehead against yours after pulling away, and the grin on his face is something that you’ll never forget
“A lot sooner, Lahey.”
That leather jacket and self assured smirk drives you insane all throughout the following periods, and you’re confident that he knows exactly what he’s doing
Isaac is actually relatively clueless as to the affect he has on you, so he’s more than a little surprised and confused by the text you send him requesting that he meet you in the hall
Needless to say, you can be found third period in coach’s empty office, with you on top of the desk and hands in his hair in a heated make out session
“Did I ever tell you that you have a really great ass? Because I’m totally getting a new level of appreciation for it right now, beautiful.”
“Are you going to kiss me, or keep talking about my ass?”
“Both options sound pretty good.” He teases, leaning down and trailing butterfly kisses up your neck
“I hate you, Lahey.” You manage to choke out through your heavy breathing, and you can feel him smirk against your neck
“You heartbeat would state otherwise, beautiful.”
His nickname for you is “beautiful” because in his eyes, you’re the most goddamn gorgeous thing he’s ever seen
takes pictures of you whenever you’re not looking
ASS POCKET GRAB AND SPIN TO KISS YOU
After his dad dies and the cops all believe he’s the murderer, he’s afraid that you believe so as well
He’s shocked when you storm into the sheriff’s office in a fit of rage, demanding what the hell are you doing with my boyfriend he’s innocent you pieces of absolute shi-
Scott, a good friend of yours, covers your mouth with his hand as you continue to thrash about, and Stiles is explaining to his dad no really she’s the sweetest girl ever just really protective of her friends-
“SCOTT MCCALL GET YOUR HAND OFF OF MY MOUTH YOU ASSHAT DON’T YOU DARE-”
“Sweetest girl ever, huh?”
“Look, even if you are a fugitive, you’re my fugitive.”
“I’m not sure thats making me feel better, beautiful.”
After his name is cleared, you buy celebratory cupcakes, and Derek won’t admit it, but the fact that you bought him a dinosaur cupcake because “it just felt right” sort of endears you to him
Him taking you to meet the rest of his pack, who are all very surprised by how accepting and supportive you are of it
You and Erica become wonderful friends… and Isaac isn’t the only one whose scared of that combination
They are all super overprotective of you, because you’re the first person that they have met who has genuinely cared about them from the start without needing special reasons to do so
Derek is totally that older brother figure, and you’re the only one allowed to pick on him (he knows its you that keeps leaving those how to decorate a house for dummies books and he’s going to catch you if its the last thing he does dammit)
Isaac likes how when he puts his head in your lap, your hands instinctually run through his curls and gently massage his scalp
“If this was Twilight and you were the hot werewolf, I would totally pick you over any vampire.”
Its sort of your thing to tell each other “I’m just a phone call and a few miles away” when the other is sad, hurt, or missing the other
FOREHEAD KISSES BECAUSE HE’S SO GODDAMN TALL
“I am so in love with you” he mutters for the first time, smiling softly at you as you buy six boxes of pop tarts in the self checkout lane
You literally drop all the boxes you’re holding in surprise because?? literally just buying poptarts man was not expecting that
“… just because you love me does not mean you are getting a poptart, buddy.”
His favorite thing to do is to wrap his arms around your waist from behind and kiss the top of your head, before resting his chin on your shoulder
Isaac is a big softie when it comes to you, and is very protective
He literally always blushes when you kiss his cheek, something that doesn’t change even years into the relationship
Isaac kisses your temple whenever you sit down next to him or have a headache
BREAKFAST DATES
will tackle hug u. always be prepared.
He always kinda smells like the air after it rains
Needless to say, you are almost constantly in his clothes because of this (not that he’s complaining, and he is adamant that you pull off his leather jacket far better than he does)
“You look better in it than I do anyway, beautiful.”
He’s a little bit in love with the way you look in his clothes, and can never seem to stop staring at you in them
“Are you drooling?”
“Shut up, Erica.”
You obviously know about the supernatural, but you play more of a behind the scenes role in everything (Isaac worries about you enough as is anyway, and you don’t want to add to that)
He loves surprising you with flowers (and it becomes a tradition later on for him to bring you flowers every monday on his way home from work when you’re married)
Isaac is such a sucker for long standing traditions with you because it makes you feel so permanent to him
Singing along to every song on the radio together
During the rave, where Isaac and Erica dance with Jackson, you can’t help but snort into your drink at the sight
Afterwards, he’s worried that you’re hurt or scared and tucks you into a bone crushing hug, and for the first time you realize damn I love this boy
“I’m mildly suspicious that my boyfriend has a thing for Jackson, but otherwise I’m fine”
He chuckles into your hair, thinking for the millionth time that day about how in love with you he is
Perfect combination of hopeless romantic and slam-you-against-the-wall-makeout-sessions roughness
suggestive eyebrow wiggles whenever anything with even the slightest possible sexual meaning is mentioned
“I am dating a middle school boy”
The number 24 soon overtakes your wardrobe as you buy literally any sportswear the Beacon Hills lacrosse team sells (There’s the occasional McCall or Stilinski tee thrown in there as well)
“I don’t think I’ve seen the name Lahey printed anywhere more in my life.”
“You obviously haven’t seen the wedding invitations yet, which I expect to be mailed out by the summer.”
“I don’t quite remember asking you to plan my wedding, Lyds?”
“I have an alphabetized binder, if you must know. It’s been ready since freshman year.”
Isaac thinks your collection of Lahey gear is incredibly adorable, and he always makes sure to dedicate any goals he scores to you
Its tradition to exchange a good luck kiss before any and all games
Although Isaac is usually guilty of turning it into a makeout session, earning himself Coach’s half-hearted threats
Isaac is intensely proud of the fact that you intimidate a majority of Beacon Hills’ male population
“So does he sleep with the scarf on?”
“Stiles, kindly stop heckling my girlfriend about my wardrobe choices.”
You’re an adventurous couple, and he loves taking you kayaking, hiking, and exploring
He breathes so much easier in wide open places, and nothing makes you happier than seeing Isaac so carefree
serenades you with throwbacks like buy you a drank and ignition remix (real old fashioned romantic as you can see)
inside jokes
sometimes just whispering literally nothing to each other and laughing to really piss Stiles off
y’all really don’t argue over much, you’re both very open with each other and pride your trust in each other more than anything
Isaac being insecure but you doing EVERYTHING in your power to remind him of how wonderful he is
Seriously, whenever he says anything even slightly self-depreciating you literally just screech over him
“I really don’t deserve you-”
*LOUD PTERDACTYL SCREECHING*
“Listen I mean it-”
*SCREECHING*
“… are u done”
so much sweetness. he looks as if he’s seeing the stars for the very first time, every time
He totally overhears you tell Lydia about his “panty-dropper smile” and you absolutely never live that down. ever. nope.
dm each other the stupidest memes you can find
Isaac made you a mixtape once, mans had to buy a whole cassette player and everything for you to listen to it but he saw you like it on twitter and hey, why not?
you cried hysterically, scaring the literal SHIT out of Isaac
everyone’s relationship goals
yells down the hallways “YOOOO YOU LOOKIN FINEEEE SHAWTY CAN I GET YO NUMBER”
“Isaac pls stop we’ve been dating for two years now”
You make a mediocre attempt at baking with each other before it ends with flour in places it should never be, eggs in Isaac’s hair, and chocolate chips shoved down your bra
“Want me to get those out for you, beautiful?”
*Isaac hit with flour to the face*
SHIRTLESS ISAAC
seriously you just shamelessly admire your boyfriend at every opportunity
your first time is definitely somewhere super inconvenient like the locker room or some shit, and Isaac had initially wanted to make it super special, but he couldn’t really find it in himself to say no when you practically jumped him after he won the championship game
PDA all the time. Isaac is a handsy lil shit
special appreciation for The Booty
will spend some mornings lazily kissing every stretch mark, his fingertips gently grazing every blemish as he tells you how beautiful you are to him
“I can’t wait to grow old with you”
Absolutely only has eyes for you
sends you horny text messages in the middle of class because Isaac Lahey, y’all
likes to pamper you in little ways. will draw baths for you, tries (and usually fails) to cook you dinner, and Back Massage Professional
“Stop moaning! I am trying to professionally massage your back and this is NOT professional behavior.”
Totally pops the big question right after graduation
Doesn’t think its too soon at all, that boy has been waiting his whole life to marry you- and why wait when it feels so right?
“There is nothing in this world or the next that I have ever wanted more than to spend my life with you. I don’t just want the bigs things with you, like a big wedding and kids. I want to wake up next to your bedhead, to come home to your horrible dancing, to go grocery shopping with you, to argue over what brand of detergent to buy. I want to share the most mundane, ordinary moments with you. Because every moment I spend with you is anything but ordinary.”
“Lydia… we might actually need those wedding invitations”
Can I request just the softest, most awkward, and cutest confession from Isaac? Just the most pure thing ever. Please and thank you.

Just as you moved to close your locker, you felt a shadow fall by your side. It only took you a moment to realize that that shadow was Isaac, and almost immediately a smile fell on your lips as you closed your locker, turning to him with delighted eyes.
“Hey,” you called, voice soft, “what brings you over here?”
The first thing you noticed was how nervous Isaac seemed. He was fiddling with his fingers, lip in between his teeth as he gnawed on it and eyes glancing everywhere but at you. Though, you couldn’t possibly understand why. This wasn’t the first time you and Isaac had ever shared a conversation with one another, and normally, he was so confident.
When Isaac lacked a reply, your smile fell somewhat; “everything okay?”
“Y-Yeah,” Isaac stammered, nodding. Blinking, he shook his head, pulling a hesitant smile on his lips. “I was wondering if I could talk to you?”
The smile grew back on your lips as you nodded; “of course,” you assured. “What’s up?”
With a quick glance at his feet, Isaac coughed lightly, swallowing thickly before meeting your eyes. “Well, how do I start this…” Your brows furrowed at his words, wondering just what the hell he could have to talk to you about. Isaac continued nonetheless, voice shaky. “I’m just gonna go out and sa-say it. I like you, i like you a lot. I-I have for a while.”
Your lips parted, bafflement flooding you.
“I’m sure you don’t feel the same,” Isaac frowned, rubbing the back of his neck. “But I still wanted to tell you anyway. And if you’d give me the chance, i’d like to… to take you out for a date. I know that we deal with a lot of things kids our age shouldn’t, and maybe it isn’t ideal having a werewolf for a boyfrie-”
Stepping forward, you cut off Isaac’s ramblings by pressing your finger against his lips. With a grin, you nodded up at him; “i’d love to go out on a date with you.”
Isaac’s eyes widened, and disbelief flooded his gaze. “Really?”
With a soft giggle, you nodded. “Of course,” you exclaimed, “who wouldn’t want to go out with a handsome guy like yourself?”
Isaac’s cheeks flushed, but you thought he looked absolutely adorable. And with another nervous rub at the back of his head, Isaac smiled himself. “Great, i’ll pick you up at seven?”
“Seven, it is.”

“Are you dating anyone?” a fan had asked at the teen wolf panel.
“Um.. you know I actually am! We’ve been keeping it a secret for a long time, but I’m ready to share.” Daniel began to chuckle was thinking about the ways you were going to beat him up for exposing your relationship without a warning. “She has been very busy lately, from filming teen wolf to the originals to riverdale, I haven’t seen her very much. However, it forms mean that I have a little of time to plan my escape from her angry texts when I say who she is. I’m sure you’ve all figured it out but it’s (y/n)!” Daniel said happily.
“ I knew it!” Ian had yelled. “I’ve been asking him all day about who he’s been texting. And this little nut has been keeping secrets”
“Sorry! I didn’t know I would be exposing myself today… but I love ya”
“Anyways we started dating around the time of the last season. Haha I actually started to see her a little differently after she angrily texted me why I wasn’t coming back. But I made up for it by surprising her with a date and some flowers… and many photoshopped pictures of me in the new trailers!” The fans began to laugh and slowly fall in love with your relationship.
…
“(Y/n), what the actual heck! You’re dating tHE DANIEL SHARMAN, and didn’t tell us??”
“Um what the fork? How did you find out, and I’d like to say that I did say I was dating a Daniel.”
“He just came out on the panel.” Lili told you.
“That little piece of- I’m beating him up. But surprise?”
“You suck. We literally expressed our love for Isaac when we binged.” Madelaine replied.
“Aye! Sweats you are supposed to be dating me. I can hear the tabloids: (y/n) and kj split was she cheating?” kJ obnoxiously stayed.
“Hey! Don’t say that or else it might come true.” You said while laughing.”now if you excuse me, I have a boyfriend to beat up.”
“But… if you’d like to beat him up with me, you’re welcome to finally meet your favorite werewolf!” You yelled to the cast on hopes of them accepting the subtle bribe for the love back.
“this is so a bribe, bUt I’m taking it because Daniel.”
“Ugh! I can’t believe you let me gush about his hotness when you’re literally dating him”
“What was I supposed to say? You’re wrong because we both l know that a lie.” You replied back while hugging your cast.
…
“Hey love! How are you? Also hi riverdale cast!! (Y/n) has been hiding you guys from me” Daniel responded while trying to avoid your eyes while on face time. He was replied back by a lot of hi’s and gushing with a hint of thank you for finally getting her to expose who she was dating.
“So you’re the other man in this relationship” kJ jokingly replied.
“Hey! I’m the one that’s supposed to be mad. You’re a nut.” You said while glaring at him. “Not that I’m mad at finally being public, but a warning would’ve been nice. However, you could make it up by surprising me at set for once since you have a little off time.” You said with a wink.
“Yes!! You have to come. We’d love to meet you”
“ alrighty then… I will make it happen love.” Daniel replied.

“Could you not coddle my sister in front of me?”
You rolled your eyes at Stiles, leaning back against Isaac as you let out a soft giggle. With his arms around your waist, Isaac let his head fall on your shoulder, smirking at Stiles. “She’s my girlfriend,” Isaac grinned, “i’ll coddle her all I want.”
Stiles ran a hand down his face, groaning with disgust. “And she’s my sister.” He reputed, before his eyes fell on you. Silently, you raised a brow at him, waiting for him to speak. “Y/N,” he called, raising his hand and pointing to the empty seat next to him. “Come here.”
“Really?” You asked, staring at him unimpressed. You only scoffed when Stiles nodded, staring at you as if it was your obligation to listen to him. To further annoy him, you shuffled closer to Isaac, turning your head and pressing a kiss against the boys cheek, grinning widely when you heard Stiles gag dramatically.
“We are trying to a have a pack meeting,” Derek mumbled, glaring at both you and Isaac.
“It’d be nice if you two could focus for once,” Lydia snapped, rolling her eyes.
You stuck your tongue out at them childishly. “You’re just jealous of us.”
Isaac chuckled, nodding with you as he pulled you closer against his chest. The rest of the pack groaned in response, much like Stiles earlier as you and Isaac only continued to laugh at their discomfort.
To annoy them further, Isaac moved one of his hands to your cheek, turning your head and pressing a passionate kiss against your lips. You almost immediately responded, smiling against his lips at Isaac’s clinginess. His need to be near and touch you may annoy the hell out of the pack and your brother, but you loved it. Isaac constantly made you feel loved and wanted, and you wouldn’t trade his clinginess for a single thing.
“Ugh!” Stiles yelled, “Y/N!”
“Okay, okay,” you giggled, pulling back from Isaac. Turning to the rest, you met Scott’s eyes, “continue. We’re listening.”
He eyed the both of you suspiciously, before turning back to Derek, beginning to delve back into the discussion. Though, despite your words, Isaac let his head fall back on your shoulder, his fingers slipping under the hem of your shirt and tracing patterns along your stomach. You let him, easing back into his embrace with ease as you focused back on Scott.
Like you said. The pack might find Isaac’s clinginess annoying, but you loved it.

Isaac Lahey x reader where Isaac is absolutely terrified he’ll hurt you doing a full moon, but you end up being his anchor
Author’s Notes: So I went a little off from the request, since I wasn’t exactly sure what to do. I decided to base this request of the scene in season three, episode four I believe where him and Allison are locked in the closet. Obviously it’ll be slightly different but yeah.

Opening the closet door, you took a look around the small room, clutching the cardboard box in your hands. You stepped back, letting Isaac in first as he rolled an entire stack of boxes in. Stepping in afterwards, you headed towards a certain spot so you could set down the box, and start stacking the contents within it.
It seemed you and Isaac had the same idea as you both bumped into each other trying to reach the same place. You flushed lightly, glancing up at him with an apologetic, though nervous smile. “Sorry,” you mumbled, glancing at him before looking back down again. Isaac sent you a short nod, turning from you as he begin placing things on the shelves.
Glancing down, you made sure you weren’t stepping on anything, setting down the box. “So,” you begun slowly, unsure of what to say. You knew Isaac, through Stiles and Scott, of course. But the last time either of you had ever spoken was when he’d first joined Derek, and been a royal dick. “What’d you do to get detention?”
You waited for response, but never got one. Turning around, you noticed Isaac glancing towards the closet door, seemingly pacing. Furrowing your brows, you set down what’d you been holding, taking a small step towards the boy. You set your hand down on his shoulder hesitantly, gaining his attention. “What’s the matter?” You asked, concern etched in your expression. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah, yeah,” Isaac nodded, stepping back to where he’d been. Your hand fell off his shoulder, turning back to your own work. “Just… not a huge fan of small spaces.”
“Oh,” you nodded. You felt Isaac’s eyes on you, and turning to face him, you smiled. “Well, we’ll be out here soon enough. I wouldn’t worry.”
Isaac nodded, turning to grab something from one of the boxes. “Can I ask you something?” Isaac suddenly said, shocking you.
“Um, sure.”
“Why are you afraid of me?” Isaac’s questioned stunned you, you visibly paused, your hand left resting on one of the shelves as you let his question sink in. You felt his eyes on you, but didn’t dare turn to face him. Shaking your head, you swallowed thickly. “I’m not afraid of you.”
“You seem nervous.”
You shrugged; “never gotten detention before.”
“I hardly think that’s the issue.” Isaac mumbled, pausing to turn to you. He reached out to touch you, and before you could help yourself, you cowered back slightly. “See?”
“It’s nothing.” You feigned, meeting his eyes. “I’m not afraid of you, Isaac. Not to mention, a minute ago I reached out to make sure you’re okay.”
“Fine then,” Isaac complied, “not afraid. But not a hundred percent comfortable around me either.”
You huffed, shaking your head. “Listen, the last time we actually spoke to one another was when you were against both Stiles and Scott. I’m just not sure where that puts you now.”
“I-”
Isaac was cut off by the sound of the door shutting, enveloping the both of you in dim light. You glanced up, furrowing your brows as you stared at the now shut door. Isaac ran forward, eerily silent, as his hands grabbed ahold of the knob, shaking it relentlessly. “No, no, no, no,” he repeated, mumbling to himself.
Taking a deep breath, you walked towards him, frowning. “Maybe it locked from the outside.”
“No,” Isaac mumbled, “I think… there’s something against it.” He shoved his body gently against the door – nothing happened. Biting your lip, you brushed back a strand of lose hair, finding yourself at a loss on what to do.
Isaac stepped back, letting go of the door to pull off his sweater. “Okay,” he whispered, looking around himself. You took a step back, when he took one forward, still mumbling incoherently to himself. It was obvious something was wrong, though you didn’t understand what. And as you watched the boy pace in the spot, clearly panicking, you felt your own heart beat pick up. This was not good.
“Okay,” you breathed, holding your hands out before you. “It’ll be okay. Isaac, just relax. Just breathe.”
“No,” Isaac shook his head, hands falling to his hand as he took deep, heavy breaths. “No, no, no, no, no…”
He leaned against the wall, a hand grabbing ahold of one of the shelves and gripping it tightly. He rocked against the wall, “come on,” Isaac whispered. “Come on. Come on.”
“Isaac,” you called, noticing the whiteness of his knuckles. This was really not good.
“You,” he breathed, and your eyes widened, taking a step forward. “You need to get back. Please…”
You could barely register the warning before Isaac begun repeatedly smacking against the wall, fists smacking harshly against brick as he yelled; “come on,” over and over again.
“Isaac!” You screamed, unsure if you should step back or try to help. “Just calm down! Please, Isaac!” Then, Isaac paused, and everything just stopped. Your own breath halted by instinct and you froze. Isaac’s head snapped around, facing you, and you noticed his glowing eyes first and then the fangs. Taking a hesitant step back, you shook your head.
“Please, don’t…”
Isaac lunged forward in the next second, grabbing ahold of both your wrists. You winced as his claws dug into your skin, your back smacking against the shelves. You were cornered now, unable to escape and staring up into the eyes of Isaac, enraged, who didn’t recognized who you were.
“Isaac,” you whispered. “Isaac, please.”
He only growled in return, and you clenched your eyes shut, screaming when he snapped his mouth towards you. “Isaac!”
You expected to feel pain. For something happen. But nothing did. Tensed, you slowly slid your eyes open after a moment, seeing Isaac still before you. His eyes were no longer glowing, the fangs gone as he panted heavily.
In the next second, the door swung open, light bleeding in. You looked up to see Scott and he lunged forward to rip Isaac off of you, but you shook your head. “Wait!” You yelled, puzzling Scott. “It’s okay, it’s okay.”
Isaac’s grip slacked, before his hands fell away. Slowly he gazed at you, guilt evident in his gaze. “I’m sorry,” he whispered, stepping back from you. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to…”
Scott stepped forward then, grabbing your wrist as he examined the claw-shaped wounds Isaac had given you. But you only shrugged his concern off, shaking your head. “I’m fine,” you told Scott, before your eyes fell on Isaac. “It’s okay,” you whispered, smiling softly at him. “It’s okay. I’m fine.”
Isaac stared at you in shock, as Scott’s gaze fell back and forth on the both of you.
“You stopped him…”

“Are you mad at me?” Isaac stands in the doorway, his hands in his pockets. He is leaning against the doorframe, his eyes finally lifting to look at you. Carefully.
You bite your lip, letting out a sigh. You are sitting on your bed with your knees to your chest. “I’m fine,” you whisper, closing your eyes. “Just, just tired.”
Isaac steps closer, now standing only a few feet away. “Well, it’s just that you’ve been ignoring me. And I want to know why.”
A silence falls over the two of you. A wavering silence, one that is full of awkward tension and unspoken words. You put your hands over your face, your nails digging into your skin.
“(Y/N),” Isaac says softly.
You feel as his hands reach out to grasp onto yours, and he gently lowers them from your face. “Did I do something?”
You shake your head. “No! No, of course not.”
Isaac frowns, although a flicker of relief undulates in his eyes. He sits down besides you, his gaze surprisingly fragile. Tender.
“I just,” He shakes his head, “It doesn’t feel right when you’re angry at me.”
You turn finally, looking at him with tired exasperation. “Isaac?” You stare at him with wide eyes. “You are not the problem. Okay? I’m fine.”
Isaac’s head tilts to the side and his eyes crinkle a little. “You’re lying.” His voice drops to a whisper. “When you said that, that you’re fine – you lied.”
You freeze, unable to look him in the face.
He points to his ears, his face suddenly sheepish. “It’s, it’s the heart rate. You know, the werewolf senses.”
You sniffle, bringing your hands to your mouth. It is a while until you say anything, and when you do Isaac’s eyes quickly flash back to yours. “I just, I just don’t understand.” You can feel the words burning in your throat, the tears that are beginning to pool in your eyes. You stare desperately at the light fixtures above you, hoping the tears would suddenly retract and disappear. “You’re you, Isaac. And I’m me. And then you’re a werewolf and that’s amazing, really. And you have all these friends with supernatural abilities and I just don’t understand,” you break off, your voice dangerously high. You tremble, a tear sliding down your cheek. “I just don’t understand why you need me. I’m just me.”
Isaac’s eyes are full of hurt. He reaches out for your hand, his fingertips barely grazing against yours. “What do you mean, you’re just you?” He swallows, taking in a deep breath. “I don’t care that you’re not a werewolf or a banshee or a kitsune. You’re my friend, (Y/N). And I love you.”
You turn to look at him, your eyes wide. “What?”
Isaac looks down at his hands, then back at you. “I love you.” He looks at you with fear in his eyes. “Is, is that okay?”
You nod furiously, your voice a mere whisper. “I love you too. I love you, Isaac.”
His eyes widen and his head rises slowly.
You stare at him carefully, unsure of what to do. You had dreamed about this for years, hoping that somehow the boy with the scarves and beautiful blue eyes would return your feelings. And it seems he had. You were in shock, lost in your mind of thoughts and possibilities.
When you blink again Isaac is much closer to you, and his head is slowly tilting closer to yours. Your eyes widen and you watch as his own eyes flutter shut. The tip of his nose brushes against yours, softly, and his lips meet yours. It sends flurries of butterflies spiraling in the tips of your feet to your spine, and it is a feeling of such softness that your own eyes widen even more.
Isaac finally pulls away, and his eyes open just a little. He takes in your expression, realization immediately flooding his features. “Oh God.” His mouth widens and he freezes. “I’m so sorry —“
A smile tugs at your lips. You look down shyly, fiddling with your fingers. “So you love me?”
Isaac’s eyes are still wide, the same expression of shock on his face. “Yeah. Totally.”
You reach over to press your lips against his, this time with your own eyes softly shutting. Isaac slowly breaks out of his shock and he deepens the kiss, his lips a soft breath of air.
You pull away, leaning your head against his shoulder. “Love you.”
Isaac smiles. He reaches over to play with your fingertips. “Why’re you whispering?”
You can feel the blush rising in your cheeks and you smile once more. “Because it feels more real.”
Isaac finds you after terrorizing Beacon Hills during your first full moon.
“Are you kidding me?!” Stiles shouted to Liam who nodded in embarrassment while he whispered “Sorry.”
Scott rolled his eyes but Stiles continued. “You were suppose to have the first watch! This is her first full moon..”
Before anyone could say anything else they heard someone walking out from the forest, making them turn towards the sound and saw a tall silhouette beside the trees.
“Isaac?” Scott asked when he recognize his scent along with yours. When he stepped out from the dark they could clearly see how he was carrying you in his arms.
You were covered in mud, scratches and blood, totally knocked out as you nuzzled against Isaacs chest, letting out soft breaths and the boys of your pack couldn’t help but let out a relied sigh.
Isaac took a few steps towards them with a smug smirk on his face. “Is she yours?”

[So I CLEARLYstoleborrowed the idea and gifs from this lovely post. I just had to involve my fav in this idea.]
Isaac slams his locker shut and turns to head to class when
he sees you walking down the hallway toward him. Well, past him.
He sighs as he watches you go by laughing with Danny as the
two of you make fun of Jackson for doing something stupid over the weekend.
A hand on his shoulder draws his attention away and he turns
to glance at Scott. He’d already known it was his best friend. Scott’s the only
one that gets it, wanting someone no
one else thinks you belong with. Anyone else would have been laughing at
Isaac’s crush right now and throwing it in his face how different the two of
you are. Well, except maybe Erica but he’s pretty sure she’s just rooting for
him because she thinks he’d be hilariously awkward about asking you out.
“Hey,” Isaac tells his friend somberly, glancing back at you
one more time as you walk away from him.
“Dude, you should just do it already,” Scott says giving his
shoulder a comforting squeeze as he follows Isaac’s gaze. “Just ask her out.”
Isaac sighs. He wants to. God, does he want to. But he’d
almost rather spend the rest of his life pining than risk a rejection from you.
Anyone else he could recover from but not you. “Maybe,” he answers grudgingly. “I’m
probably not her type.”
“Who’re we talking about?” Stiles asks as he saunters up.
Scott’s already rolling his eyes because he knows what’s
coming, just as well as Isaac does.
“No one,” Isaac says, trying to avoid what he knows is
coming.
“Oh,” Stiles hums. “So, Isaac when (y/n) sees him?” He’s
already laughing before he’s even gotten the quip out.
Isaac gives him a flat look and walks away but he can hear
Scott smack Stiles upside the head.
“Ouch,” Stiles complains. “What was that for?”
“We’re his friends, we should be encouraging him,” Scott
scolds.
“To ask out a girl he has no chance with?” Stiles asks
incredulously. “(Y/n) is way too hardcore for him. She’s not just the bad girl
that skips class and sneaks out to see her boyfriends. She totally beat the
shit out of that guy from Dalton that wouldn’t take no for an answer at Danny’s
party last summer.”
Isaac strains his ears extra hard to hear Scott’s reply to
that. “Doesn’t matter. Maybe Isaac is exactly her type, we don’t know. And neither
will he if he never tries.”
Isaac bites his lip and continues walking, letting his
friends’ chatter fade into the background.

So, he’s decided. He’s gonna do it. He’s gonna ask you out.
He looks for you after school, trying to get it over with
before he loses his nerve. He finds Danny and Jackson sitting on the front
steps but you’re not with them.
“Uh, Danny, hey,” Isaac approaches, shoulders hunched up to
his ears, hands buried in his pockets. “Do you know where (y/n) is?”
Jackson snorts. “OH my god,” he scoffs like he knows exactly
where this is going, and he finds it hilarious.
Danny elbows Jackson in the side. “Be nice,” he scolds with
a little smile, because when is Danny not
smiling a little. He turns his gaze to Isaac. “She had to skip out early today,”
he informs. “Do you want me to tell her you’re looking for her?”
“Yeah,” Isaac says but then shakes his head. “Wait, no. Um.
Just—“
“Yeah. No. Wait. Um…”
Jackson mocks him, before fixing him with a glare. “Doesn’t matter what you
want, loser. I’m gonna tell her anyway, so get lost.”
Isaac shakes his head at Jackson’s behavior but listens and
walks away. He doesn’t see how you or Danny can hang out with that jerk.
Well, it seems he’ll know soon if he really is a nobody in
your eyes.

He’s on his way to Stiles’ jeep the next day when someone
calls out behind him.
“Hey, Isaac!”
He turns and there you are, looking all bad-ass and
gorgeous. “Hi,” he breathes.
“I heard you were looking for me.”
“Oh, yeah, I—“ He stops speaking, looking around the parking
lot. He feels the weight of all of his friends’ stares from every corner of the
lot. Suddenly, he feels a lot less sure he can do this. “I just— wanted to ask,
um,” his eyes search frantically for some clue to a question he can ask and his
gaze rests on the helmet in your hands. “I wanted to ask where you got your bike.”
“Oh,” you seem surprised by that question. “Dante’s over on
Ninth.”
“Oh, cool,” Isaac nods like he’s actually heard of the
place.
“You thinking of getting one?” You ask, seeming interested
in his existence for once.
“Uh, yeah. Maybe.”
“Well, my Agusta handles really
well,” you tell him, licking your lips and glancing over at it across the lot. “I
totally recommend it. Do you… wanna go for a ride?”
He feels his eyes widen and his mouth fall open a bit. “Y-Yeah.
Yeah, sure.”
He follows you over to your motorbike and watches you straddle
it with confident ease. He stumbles trying to get on behind you and hopes you
haven’t noticed as he settles himself up against your back.
“Hey, Joey,” you call out to one of your other friends. He
appears to be about to get in a truck with someone else but he pulls himself
back out to see what you want. “Since your bike is in the shop, can we borrow your helmet?”
He sighs heavily and gets out of the truck to walk over helmet in hand,
eyeing Isaac the whole time. “Yeah, sure.” He doesn’t actually sound all that
sure, but hands over the helmet anyway.
“Thanks, man,” you say, slapping him on the arm as you pass
it back.
Isaac puts the helmet on, making sure it feels snug and then
wraps his arms around your waist as you bring the beast to life.
He clings to you the whole ride and it’s quite possibly the
best experience of his entire life. The freedom of feeling like he’s flying
coupled with the girl he’s crazy about. It’s enough to give him a little of the
courage he was lacking earlier.
When you pull back into the school parking lot, he climbs
off the bike and takes off the helmet. “That was… really great.”
“I know, right?” You pop off your helmet too, hanging it on
your handle bars and grin, patting your bike, “I love this thing.”
“Hey, um, do you wanna go out sometime?” Isaac blurts, and
then feels awkward about it. Here he’s been squished up against your back for
the past twenty minutes and now he’s asking you out. That’s gotta be kinda
weird.
You study him for a second and a knowing grin takes over
your face. “You’re not planning on getting a bike, are you?”
“N-no. Not really,” he admits, handing over your friend’s
helmet. “I just… kinda panicked at the last second and latched onto whatever I
saw first. Which. Was your helmet.” He gestures to your own helmet. “Which lead
to asking about your bike.”
You take the extra helmet from him, holding it in your lap as
you stare at him with a grin that’s making him a little nervous. “Yeah, okay,”
you say abruptly.
“Yeah, okay I’m a huge dork or?”
“Yeah, okay I’ll go out with you,” you laugh. “Although. You
are a bit of a dork.”
He could be embarrassed about it but you wink at him when
you say it. Still, he ducks his head with a nervous laugh. “Sorry.”
“Don’t be,” you assure him. “Dorks happen to be my type.”
Isaac watches you trying to bake cookies in the McCall
kitchen and can’t stop himself from smiling. It’s obvious that you have no idea
what you’re doing but the minute he said he missed the comfort of coming home
from school to the smell of freshly baked cookies, you’d been determined to
give him that again.
There’s a bit of an ache in his chest when he remembers
coming home to his mother pulling cookies out of the oven, sharing them as a
family with glasses of milk and smiles all around. He’ll never have that
again, but you give him something just as good. You don’t try to change him and
make him better, you accept him as he is. You love him in a way that no one has loved him in a long time. He
watches you ruining your cookie batter and he can’t believe he got so lucky.
You’re incredible, an angel.
You look up suddenly, noticing him standing there, smiling
at you with a goofy grin that you absolutely love.
“Oh no, you’re not supposed to be here yet!” You say, trying
in vain to cover the baking stuff you know logically that he’s already seen. It’s
supposed to be a surprise. It’s the principle of the thing.
“Lacrosse practice got cancelled,” he offers, hefting his gym
bag a little higher as proof. “What are you up to?”
“Nothing,” you lie, trying to lean against the counter
nonchalantly.
“Just decided to redecorate the kitchen?” Isaac asks trying
to bite back a laugh.
“Shut up,” you groan, hiding your face in your hands. Of
course, Isaac has seen what an utter mess you are and how badly you’re screwing
this up. After a minute, you peek between your fingers. “It’s a total failure,
isn’t it?”
“Nothing you do could ever be a failure,” Isaac promises,
dropping his bag and walking over to you to gather you in his arms. “You’re
perfect.”
“Liar.” Even as you pout at him, you lean in to kiss him ‘hello’
and ‘thank you’ and ‘I love you’.
Isaac accepts your kisses and holds you tighter, burying his
face in your neck when you break apart.
“I don’t deserve you,” Isaac says quietly into your skin.
You pull back, hands on his shoulders, to look into his eyes.
“What are you talking about? You
deserve me, and my horrible baking, more than anyone else in the world. And
even if you didn’t, it’s just too bad for you. You’re kinda stuck with me, now.”
Isaac smiles back at you, contentment lighting up his eyes.
He didn’t miss the way you turned his statement around, making it sound like he’s
getting the short end of the stick. “I think I can live with that.”
You end up baking the cookies together, Isaac fixing all of
the problems you had when you were working on your own.
“See?” You say later as the two of you share a plate of
delicious cookies, cuddled up together on Isaac’s bed. “We make a pretty great team, don’t we?”
“I guess we do,” Isaac answers with a wry grin. He’s not
stupid, he knows you’re addressing his earlier comment.
“It’s because you’re the other half of me,” you tell him
seriously. “I’m not complete without you.”
Isaac laughs, raising a brow at you. “Are you this cheesy
without me?”
“Hey, shut up! I was trying to be romantic,” you narrow your
eyes at him as you steal the cookie he was about to eat.
Isaac’s eyes glow with love as he looks back at you, smirk
melting into a warm smile. “I know.”
You bite into his cookie vengefully as he scoots closer to
you.
“You’ve got a little…” Isaac trails off, as he wipes some
crumbs away from your mouth with his thumb. His mouth following close behind,
kissing away anything he missed.
“You know, cute little kisses aren’t always going to work
when you’re in trouble,” you warn even as you accept another kiss from him.
“Yeah, they are,” he disagrees.
You stare at him, his smile and the way he looks at you like
you’re the greatest thing he could have ever asked for. He doesn’t seem to be
questioning why you’re with him anymore and that’s all you really wanted, for
him to see that you love him just as much as he loves you. You’re equals in
this.
“Yeah,” you give in eventually. “They totally are.”
“I told you,” he smirks triumphantly, even though you’re
pretty sure that you’re the one who wins this round.
