He isn’t artistic…at all. He can’t draw or paint worth a shit, and when he’s tried in the past people always laugh at how bad it is so he got discouraged and now doesn’t draw at all unless he’s intentionally trying to be funny about something
Which is why he thinks the fact that his s/o has some artistic talent – in addition to years of hard practice, of course – is really awesome
He’s always showing off your artwork to other people! “Yo! Did you see this painting (y/n) did?! It’s so good, right?”
He’s really encouraging, and though you offer to help him learn to draw he usually turns you down because he’s embarrassed by how bad his own art is and doesn’t want you to see
One day he finds your sketchbook while you’re away or out of the room for a minute and he’s curious so he starts flipping through pages until he comes to…a portrait of himself
It looked like it was drawn while he was either at lunch or in class, drawn from behind so he didn’t realize what was happening
It was really good! Like, so good. But it didn’t look so much like a photo, the sketchy exploratory lines you made before committing to more defined areas made him look almost in motion, like he was in the middle of laughing on the page
When you came back he quickly shuts the sketchbook but not before you notice he was looking at it
“Were you looking at my sketchbook?” “Don’t be mad! I saw the art you made of me and…woah, it’s so good!!!!”
He’s just so excited and flattered that you’d draw him that he wants to actually pose for one, even though he has a hard time staying still for more than five minutes
After a week of him sitting for you he takes the drawing and keeps it in his room because he thinks it’s flattering as hell and wants everyone to know you drew it
Hizashi:
Even though he’s a pretty creative guy and enjoys looking at art, he can’t really draw or paint at all. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t try, though! He just goes towards loud and abstract art – bright colors, bold shapes and lines, etc.
He thinks it’s RAAAAAAAD AS HELL that his s/o can draw and paint well and WILL scream about it to anyone within earshot (which is pretty far for him)
Even though he can’t draw realistically very well you still encourage him and he’ll paint along with you, though his finished product is drastically different from yours
During class sometimes he’ll just pull out some of your drawings or paintings and show his students and everyone already knows they can draw but they don’t risk saying anything for fear of being reprimanded or their eardrums blown out
One day you’re making dinner for the two of you at your place and he gets nosy and wanders into the room he knows is a painting/art studio
Well, what he doesn’t expect to see a canvas staring back at him of himself, and he’s honestly stunned
It’s obviously him, but the colors are bold and the strokes are confident and everything looks like it’s in motion, like it could jump right off the stretched piece of fabric at him
So he yells…and hears you break something in the kitchen
It was so startling – though you should be used to his voice by now, honestly – that you dropped a glass. Rushing in he helps you pick it up while also gushing about the painting he found
At first you’re embarrassed, said that he wasn’t supposed to see it yet since it was going to be a gift later, but he doesn’t care and says it’s rad as hell just the way it is
Eventually you DO finish the painting – the changes are subtle and Hizashi doesn’t notice – and give it to him as a birthday present but he fought you the whole time wanting to take it home as soon as he saw it
He loved you. He really, really did. It was why he always came crawling back to you — to your bed. Your hands were currently gripping his hair a bit too hard as he thrust into you, pinning you against the wall of your bedroom. The soft, whimpering pants you released literally breathed new life into him as he nipped and bit at your skin. Marking you. Tasting you. He knew you loved him too, in your own precious, human way.
Even if you didn’t really understand what he was. Oh, precious little shy broccoli. He might be just a bit hesitant to initiate any physical contact even after telling him it’s okay to do so. He’d probably overthink and worry about crossing any boundaries or making you uncomfortable so you’ll have to initiate it at first
Once he becomes more comfortable with physical contact, he will definitely take to holding your hand anytime you are near him. It’s simple but it’s his favorite thing to do, especially when you’re in public

Because he is such a shy little bean, he strays away from too much PDA but is low key a cuddle monster in the privacy of either of your rooms. He will cling to you like a koala. My boi is definitely touch starved as well, which I suppose is obvious due to his upbringing. He might not even realize just how much he need affection as well. You coming to him and asking to be held more would open his eyes to exactly what he is missing and he really welcomes the attention
As he becomes more open with his new found friends and himself, he won’t mind PDA. Hand holding, an arm around your waist, quick pecks- he doesn’t mind it at all. He has an obvious ‘idgaf’ aura so he doesn’t care what other people might say but he will dial it back if you ever feel uncomfortable
As the fandom agrees, he is you personal heater and AC so pick a side to cuddle into. His preferred position to cuddle is with you laying on his chest while he lays on his back
He will thank you for coming to him and explaining your situation and will take into consideration your wants and needs. He wants you to be happy and feel loved and will do whatever is in his power to do so
Denki Kaminari
“Why didn’t you say so?!” He will immediately pull you into a hug upon you telling him
I hope you don’t mind excessive PDA because Kaminari is all about it. An arm around you waist, your shoulders, full on kisses- the whole nine yards. He does not know the meaning of self-restraint
Sometimes he might just get a little excited when you ask for a hug and may release a small jolt of electricity. He will be stuck to you like glue so don’t expect to go anywhere for a good while
Kaminari will pull you down into his lap, wrap his arms around you wait and rest his chin on your shoulder while you’re both chilling with your friends and will occasionally tickle you because he loves your laughter almost as much as he loves holding you. He…needs some help getting to the point of initiating hugs, kisses, even hand holding. It’ll be a slow process but he wants you to feel all of the love and affection you deserve! He knows how hard it is to admit things even to yourself so he feels honored that you can share this with him
For a good long while, he will not be a huge fan of PDA, even if it is simple hand holding. In privacy, there isn’t a huge difference in how he is but he’s less likely to faceplant into a wall now
He is more of a being held person than the one doing the holding, so you’ll have to reach a compromise. When laying anywhere, he likes to face you so you can hold each other
I can’t imagine him having been held a bunch due to how timid he is, so you two exploring this new side of your relationship really helps him become more comfortable with the idea of physical affection and breaking through current barriers regarding PDA. KAMINARI DENKI:
– Hugs from Denki are really sweet and comforting. They happen frequently and are almost common place between you both.
– He wraps his arms around you tightly and buries his face in your neck/hair depending on your height.
– He smells like sandalwood and vanilla but it isn’t overpowering. It’s very light and nice.
– Kaminari thinks people should receive several hugs a day as it is healthy for you and promotes good endorphins.
– Really long hugs!
– Will hug you for literally any reason he can think of.
– His hugs feel like coming home from the longest day ever.

AIZAWA SHOUTA:
– Hugs from Shouta aren’t that common, unfortunately. They usually occur after a run in with villains or just a really long day. If you ask, however, you’ll be in his arms before you can finish the sentence.
– Like Denki, Aizawa hugs tightly, grounding both him and you within whatever situation you’re in.
– Eraserhead smells like green tea and cat food. It is slightly stronger than Denki’s smell but it’s just as relaxing.
– Aizawa really enjoys pulling you on top of him while he’s lying on the couch just so he can wrap you in his grasp.

– Gives you “goodbye hugs” before work or travelling if you wont see each other for 12+ hours
