•you and him totally fell asleep holding one another, but your back is against his (godly) chest

•when he wakes up and rubs his crusty eyelids and can actually see you clearly, he’s already setting up a thanksgiving dinner just for an excuse to thank whoever is up there something extra

•it’s only now does he realize he’s awake really early, probably around 2 or 3AM

•it’s only when he feels how sticky he is with sweat and how he’s breathing quite heavily does he realize he woke up from a nightmare that he’s glad he forgot

•and that’s also when he realizes that you’re face and just the fact you are alive and well and breathing was the reason he forgot so quickly

is very hesitant to reach for your face because he feels that it may be a dream that you’re there, and when he touches you…

•you’ll disappear

•once he touches your cheek and nothing happens, he lets out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding and just laughs

•(oh go sh k i l l me) he leans in and kisses the top of your forehead and then light pulls you closer to him

•kinda feels like crying because you’re so pure and full of love and thinks you don’t deserve him because he feels he isn’t “to your standards” and is imperfect

•but then he swipes that from his mind because if he had said that out loud and you were awake to hear it you would probably smack the back of his head or start crying (+ a long lecture about why he’s perfect the way he is, even if he bites into ice cream) there’s no in between

•falls asleep easily and dreams of something a lot better than usual

•definitely woke up because you turned toward him

•opens his eyes and just smiles but not like a H U G E grin, just, a smile showing he is content and pleased and, happy. yeah, happy.

•the both of you are in his room in the castle, he’s facing toward the wall with his back to the window.

•the way the light pours in, and rests ever so gently upon your face absolutely blows him away

•you know those times when you just think, and realize wow, I’m actually seeing this with my own two eyes, I am living and breathing and my internal body can do wonders beyond the minds of others. That’s what’s happening.

•he’s seeing you, and truly you, in front of him, where your only worries are your dreams and whether they are good or bad

•just the way the light is on you, and his shoulder casts a shadow on it as well, makes him feel so breathtaken (that’s a word right?) and he has no idea why

•rubs his thumb against your cheek and just shuts his eyes slowly and takes it in. Your feel, your smell, everything.

•kisses your forehead, nose, cheeks, eyelids, eyebrows, that one very obvious freckle on your face that you clearly despise because of how obvious it is but he just loves it

•ok so basically, pidge is designing a new robot that can help create fabrics and new clothes for everyone in the castle, for when they don’t have the time to borrow some from Coran or Allura or go to a Space Mall

•you watch as her brain works through everything and her fingers are moving so quickly as she pieced together each and every intricate part of the robot

•you end up falling asleep on her shoulder and she doesn’t realize until she herself starts drifting off so you both fall asleep against the side of her bed

•allura happens to be checking on you and asks Shiro to help the both of you into the bed

•when Pidge wakes up not only is she confused, she’s also worried

•you two had stayed up so late, that there’s no doubt it’s really late into the afternoon, but when she realizes it’s not, and she must’ve woke up randomly, she sighs in relief

•she kisses your forehead and just continues to look at you

•touch your face again? Never. she didn’t want to risk waking you, or stirring you to the point that you roll over

•everything was perfect, almost all stress was gone from her

•her last thought before falling asleep is “I hope we find Matt soon, alive and well, so he can meet the person that makes me truly feel and truly love.”

•most likely whispers I love you or holds your hand before falling into a lovely slumber

Shiro:

As soon as they landed back on earth the first thing Shiro wanted to do was find you. He knew you would be in your small apartment curled up in your bed since it was early in the morning on earth. He knocked on the door to have it opened to your lovely sleepy face. He swore he fell in love all over again.

“Takashi…..?” You said sleepily

“it’s me.” He smiled

You then promptly slammed the door in his face. Not what he expected to return to.

“Y/N I’m sorry I left you without warning…. please open the door.” He whispered softly

“fuck off takashi you ruined my life.” You yelled back

He then waited and sat by the door for a few minutes before it opened hesitantly.

“…… do you want a cup of tea” you asked

“I’d love one.” He smiled

Lance:

They were back on earth!! It was a dream come true! After seeing his family he knew what he had to do next. He dreaded seeing the look on your face though, he knew you were heartbroken when he left. He went up to your house and knocked on the door hesitantly. You opened it slightly and gasped.

“L-lance?”

“Yeah?” He smiled

“Oh my god.” You yelled and tackled him into a hug tears streaming down your face

“Don’t ever leave me again, please.” You whispered

“I promise mi amor.” He answered.

You stayed like that for a while, arms wrapped around each other sitting on your porch.

Keith:

When the team landed on earth, worry flooded his mind. What if you left him for someone else? What if you hate him? What if you think his galra scar is ugly? What if you refuse to see him? Kosmo could tell his worries were taking him over and stalked over to comfort him. But with a small smile on his face rapidly teleported Keith to your front door.

“crap. KOSMO WHAT THE HELL” he yelled

Well now he had no choice. He went up, took a deep breath, and rang the doorbell. The door opened to your mom, who disliked Keith but now hated him for leaving you.

“Yes? Can I help you?” She asked in a sickly sweet voice

“I need to speak to Y/N.” He answered

“She’s not here.” She replied and went to shut the door

“Wait.” A voice said from behind the door, he could recognize his sweet Y/N’s voice anywhere.

“Y/N….” he whispered

Her mother left but whispered something to Y/N that sounded like “be careful”

“What is it Kogane?” You asked harshly. But Keith could tell you were holding back tears.

“Y/N I would never leave you on purpose I’m so so sorry. I know you probably can’t forget what I’ve done but I hope you’ll forgive me even though it’s been so long. I…. love you…” he blushed

You let a sob choke out as you ran to embrace him. He stroked your hair and held you.

“I’m never leaving you again. I promise” he whispered lovingly

“you better not.” You whispered back playfully

If you’re up for it, could you do some Voltron significant other headcanons? I loved the kissing one you did! I’m going through a hard core Lance appreciation phase after this new season and no one writes any kind of none-shipping fic for him except ya’ll.   • at first, he was kind of scared to be affectionate, thinking that you wouldn’t be exactly okay with it (and he respects that if you aren’t)
  • once he knows you’re comfortable with it, he starts doing all of that 
  • I would say he is the jealous type
  • jealousy caused by his lack of self esteem and protecting behavior
  • he won’t restrict you from talking to people tho
  • but he would totally interfere if he thinks the interaction is going a little overboard

Hey y’all! In honor of the amazing season 7 of Voltron, I’ve decided to do some fluff overdose kissing headcanons for some of the characters!

Lance Mcclain:

– As much as he wants everyone to believe that he is a romance pro, he’s only kissed one person in his entire life before and that is because of some stupid spin the bottle game he played when he was like 12.

– Let’s just say that it didn’t end that well.

– He secretly hates himself for doing it, because now he’s disappointed that his first kiss wasn’t special or with someone he loved.

– (yes, he is that much of a sap, thank you very much).

– I feel like Lance would be one who really enjoys non-lips kisses.

– Now, don’t get me wrong, he absolutely adores kissing your lips, but his inexperience just makes him really self-conscious about it.

– He’s afraid that he might do something wrong and then you’d be disgusted and never want to kiss him ever again.

– Even though he may be exaggerating, he’s not risking it.

– Back to the non-lips kisses; He just finds them really intimate.

– When you cuddle, he loves pressing lingering kisses to your forehead or temple.

-And when you’re face to face he leaves a short smooch on the tip of your nose, just to see your face scrunch up in that cute way it always does.

– When he’s feeling playful, he pampers your whole face with small kisses, until you’re both laughing too much to be able to continue.

– Someone please help this boy.

– He is somehow even more clueless about this than Lance and that says a lot.

– I’m sorry to say this and, as much as I adore Keith, he is a terrible kisser.

– He knows that your lips have to touch but??? what happens after that?? he has no idea.

– The first time you kissed him (yes, of course you initiated the kiss, this boy couldn’t even dream of trying to kiss you), he went rigid and his face flushed redder than his armor.

– He might have accidentally kept his eyes opened the whole time. (he totally did).

– It was such an awkward experience, because, as he literally forgot to kiss back, you thought that he didn’t like you that way and that you’ve ruined your friendship and oh god.

– He eventually just stops your blabbering of apologies and admits that he has never been in a relationship before, so therefore he has no idea how to kiss.

– But you know that everything can be learned with a little bit of practice, right? 😉

– When he gets more comfortable with giving and receiving affection, Keith loves kissing you!

– His lips are thin and slightly rough and chapped, but even so his kisses feel really passionate.

– The feeling of his lips grazing your skin ever-so-slightly while his hot breath fanning against you is something you truly cannot get enough of. 

– He loves nuzzling his head into the crook of your neck from behind and leaving small and sloppy kisses, especially while you’re working on something.

– He loves you hands: holding them, kissing them, putting them against his cheek, rubbing his thumb in soft, comforting circles on them.

– It distracts him from his problems and helps him relax.

– It’s basically the only PDA he approves of, but it’s just the sweetest thing.

– If you accept training with him (good luck, his exercises are hell), he would totally be the type to give you short kisses in between exercises.

– He calls them rewards for you, but we all know who they are really for.

Katie Holt (Pidge):

– She has never kissed before either and yet she’s still better at it than Lance.

– I wouldn’t say she is self conscious or something, she just isn’t one for PDA. She prefers affection behind closed doors, just like Keith.

– So when she kisses your cheek in public it is pretty much a miracle.

– She usually likes to cuddle when you’re alone of course and then she sometimes kisses your face in places like forehead, temple and cheeks.

– She also likes and it’s the cutest thing ever to be kissed on her forehead, she finds it really reassuring.

– Take her glasses off and and gently lift up her bangs and then kiss her she will m e l t on the spot.

– Now, about lip-to-lip kisses, the first time you kissed, she acted like she knew what she was doing, so naturally she kissed back.

– But after you separated, all she said was a soft, breathless ’woah’ and then pecked your lips again, and again.

– She really enjoys kisses, but she wants all of them to be special, so it’s not a frequent sight.

– Also, she gets extremely flustered when you put your head in the crook of her neck and tell her sweet words.

– This usually happens when she refuses to go to sleep and stays up all night to work on something.

– Let’s just say that you distract her too much for her to be able to continue working, so Pidge finally gets a good night’s sleep.

– By the way, to get her to fall asleep, all you have to do is play a little with her hair and she’s gone, okay?

– Her body is surprisingly warm so she makes an amazing cuddle companion (if you ever succeed at getting her to cuddle with you, damn that workaholic pigeon).

– Her lips are pretty thin, but admirably soft and every time she kisses you they stretch out into a tender and genuine smile.

– She literally cannot kiss you without smiling, funking dork. :”)

– She’s an angel, a sassy angel, protecc the frick out of her please.

Hunk Garrett:

– He is the sweetest boy and, to be honest, him and Matt Holt’s ponytail saved me from the sadness of season 7.

– He hasn’t kissed many people before, but he’s pretty much a natural at it.

– He is a little shy about PDA at first, but it takes him almost no time to warm-up.

– After that he absolutely loves kissing you in public!

– His favorite type of kisses have to be lip kisses. They’re quite a common choice, but to him they mean much more than he let’s on.

– All of his kisses are extremely soft. His lips are also full and quite fluffy, so it just adds up in softness and gives you the ultimate kissing experience!

– He also loves giving you butterfly kisses all over, especially when you two cuddle (which happens a lot, mind you).

– With Hunk, longer kisses always lead to cuddling, no exception.

– And in those cuddle sessions, Hunk basically engulfs you with his whole body into his warmth and its just the best feeling ever okay?

– He usually hugs you from the side and kisses either your cheek or your temple.

– He absolutely loves it when you initiate kisses though.

– It makes him feel extra loved when you wrap your arms around his neck without any warning and kiss him full on the lips.

– He blushes constantly when you’re around, especially within the first months of your relationship.

– When he’s feeling down, all you have to do is smile at him and he’d automatically feel 10 times better.

– Long embraces are his favorite. Just holding you close to his heart while feeling his body relax due to your warmth makes him really sleepy and most of the time drags you to bed afterwards.

  • Because he can feel that you’re there
  • After a nightmare or a panic attack, he loves for you to hold him
  • It reminds him that he’s not alone and makes him feel loves
  • You’re the one he goes to to vent his concerns about everything
  • Prefers to touch you with his human hand
    • not like that ya nasty
    • but also like that
  • Because he can actually feel you
  • As much as he loves everyone else he likes for it to just be you two
  • You two will sit for hours in each other’s arms, just talking

  • Shiro finds it really intimate and peaceful

  • Spoils you to the point that it’s ridiculous
  • Like if you stubbed your toe he would go so overboard and like carry you somewhere to set you down and worry over you like a mother hen

  • She talks to you about her and Matt back on earth
