42: “I swear it was an accident.”

“Oh my god, he’s going to kill me,” you stressed, running your fingers through your hair and sighing. “(y/n), you need to calm down,” Scott said as you continued to pace back and forth. “Nope, nope he’s going to kill me,” you mumbled as Scott and Stiles groaned. “God (y/n) your making it sound like you murdered his whole family, all you did was break a dumb lacrosse stick,” Stiles said clearly not understanding the dire situation at hand. “Stiles, that’s Liam’s lacrosse stick. His good luck stick. He refuses to play any game without it, and I broke it!” You said, taking a seat down on your bed and rubbing your forehead. “You didn’t even break it, just the top netting, it’ll be fine,” Scott said holding the piece of metal in his hands. Liam had left his lacrosse equipment in your car after last night’s lacrosse game, and was supposed to be coming today to pick it up. Let’s just say, you had taken the equipment out, left it on your driveway for a minute, and forgot it was there as you backed your car into the driveway a few minutes later, resulting in the top of the lacrosse stick being shattered and the net loosely hanging off of it. “What happened?” Someone said out of breath, making your eyes snap wide open. “First of all, who texted him?!” You snapped at the two boys in front of you as they each pointed to each other. You rolled your eyes before facing Liam who was still trying to catch his breath. “Liam, I swear it was an accident,” you pleaded, as he looked confused. “Is everyone okay? When Scott said you were freaking out and to get here as soon as possible I assumed someone was hurt or something,” Liam said, making you  both shake your head and glare at Scott. “No no, I just, um, kind of…ran over your lacrosse stick…with my car,” you said in a low voice, staring at the ground. “That’s it? No emergency,” Liam asked after a few silent moments, making your head snap up at him. “You’re not mad?” You asked as he ran his fingers through his hair. “Well I’m not happy, but after I thought you or someone was hurt, I guess this isn’t so bad,” Liam said, assessing the damage done to his stick. “Oh,” you said as Stiles and Scott gave you a told-you-so face. “Plus (y/n), you know I can’t be mad at you,” Liam said, his eyes not leaving his lacrosse stick as he began to mess around with the netting, you not being able to help the blush rising up your cheeks.

Warnings: Slight cursing. Other than that, literal fluff.

Summary: After a long day, Liam and you get sentimental.

Today had been an especially stressful day for both Liam and yourself. If the everyday responsibility of being in high school wasn’t enough, the added supernatural element sure added a weight on your shoulders. Even though you were only human, you were dating a werewolf, and very much involved in everyday pack activities. Immediately after school was over, you were dragged into pack business. Of course, with the many enemies now invading Beacon Hills, the pack had been involved in another fight.

It was easily past one in the morning when you returned home, sneaking upstairs to your bedroom as your parents slept. Within five minutes of being home, you had gotten ready for bed, gotten into your comfiest pajamas you could find, and unlocked your window, knowing Liam would be showing up sooner or later. The second your body hit the bed, you heard your window click, Liam swiftly climbing in your room and closing the window behind him.

“You know, I have gotten way better at that,” Liam laughed, remembering the first few times he had tried to climb in your window, resulting in a few different instances of falling from your second story window or tripping into your room so loudly your parents had come to check on you. He quickly stripped his shirt from his body, reaching in your dresser where he kept a pair of sweatpants. After changing, he turned off your bedroom light and climbed into bed next to you. As you draped your blanket on top of you both, Liam placed a swift kiss on your lips before you cuddled into his side. He wrapped one arm around you as you buried your head into the crook of his neck, letting out a sigh of satisfaction.

“I’m happy everyone is okay after today,” you mumbled into his neck. Liam nodded as he brought you even closer to himself. “Did you ever doubt us?” Liam laughed, as you hit his chest playfully before allowing your hand to rest there. “Well did I worry? Of course. I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to any of you. Especially you,” you spoke softly, tracing shapes on his bare chest. A few moments of silence fell between the two of you, time in which Liam began playing with the ends of your hair. “I love you,” he finally spoke, causing you to smile. “I love that you worry for me. I love our late night cuddle sessions. I love that you anchor me,” he continued, a big smile crossing his face as he looked down at you. “I love when you bite you’re lip when your deep in thought,” Liam said, “I love that you come to all my games and cheer me on. And of course, I love how smart you are. Seriously, why are you even with a dumbass like me?”

“Oh please,” you chuckled, reaching for his free hand and intertwining your fingers with his. “I love how simply holding your hands in mine make me feel protected. I love how your nose scrunches up when you’re confused.” Liam scrunched his nose up, making you let out a laugh and smile back up at him. “I love how you can cheer me up, even when I’m in full fledged bitch mode,” you said as Liam shook his head. “A bitch? You? Never,” Liam smiled as you stuck your tongue out at him. “I love that you bring extra pens with you to class because you know I always loose mine. Even though I don’t always agree with your, well, reckless decisions, I love that you are willing to do whatever you need to do to help your friends. I love how much you care. You care with your entire being. Overall, I love you cause… you’re you.” By the time you finished, you could see Liam blushing even in the darkness. Nothing else needed to be said, as you dug your head into his neck once again, his head leaning on top of yours. That night, the two of you lulled each other to sleep with the sound of each others heartbeats, the smiles never leaving your faces.

7. “I told
you to stay.” “Well, I’m no dog.”

“I told you
to stay.”
You grunted at Liam after you heard his steps silently tip-toeing
behind you. You heard him stop in his pace and he glared back at you when you
turned around to meet him.

“Well, I’m
no dog.”
His jaw tensed as he spoke, a clear and annoyed tone after you’ve been
telling him to stay inside the boys locker room after almost wolfing out in the
middle of the field.

You cocked
your head at the side and took a step towards him. “You could practically be
considered a dog, since you’re—“ you began and Liam’s jaw dropped when you
reminded him that he’d just been growling and biting towards you and Scott as
you pulled him into the showers to cool down.

“Oh.” Liam
replied and you nodded your head in the same pace as Liam. “Yeah, oh.” You mimicked
him. “So obey.” You added your well-chosen words with a taunting smirk, making
him growl once again and take a tempting step towards you.

You stopped
him by pointing at his chest. “No Liam, sit.” You said and guided him down onto
the bench by the showers, and when he gave up with a sigh; you pet his head. “Good
boy.”

Window (Liam Dunbar x Reader)

Warnings: Nah, just falling out a window

Summary: Liam continues to climb in your window at night, despite his many failures.

The first time Liam decided to climb in your window, it was late on a school night. You had recently discovered that he was a werewolf and had told him you needed time to process all the supernatural information thrown at you. You had been avoiding him the past few days and he couldn’t stand the thought of you sitting alone in your bedroom, thinking way too hard about your friendship. He wanted you to know he would always be there for you. This is how he found himself in your backyard, staring up at your second story window. Your lights were on despite the late time, so he started climbing the tree adjacent to your house.

You had been sitting on your bed, back against the wall, reading a book to allow your head to focus on anything other than the supernatural. It wasn’t just any book, it was a rather large book, something Liam learned as he quietly started opening your window. Your head snapped towards the window, instinct kicking in as you threw the only thing you had near you. The big book hit Liam square in the face, making him loose his grip on your window and fall two stories down. You let out a scream as you jumped off your bed and ran to the window. You looked down to see Liam on his back, groaning and rubbing his forehead.

“Liam, what the hell!” You yelled as he merely groaned back. “Are you okay?!” You asked, your erratic heartbeat now slowing as you looked at the poor boy down below you. He merely put his arm in the air and gave you a thumbs up before his arm slumped back down on the ground.

He Pretends to be Your Boyfriend

thosemultifandomwritings:

Scott: “You know (y/n), you haven’t had a boyfriend in a while,” your annoying, snotty Aunt spoke, making your eyes grow wide and nearly choke on your water you were currently drinking. You sat in your living room with some family members, and your best friend Scott. Scott had been over when your Aunt and a few siblings decided to drop in, much to your dismay. You didn’t say anything as you watched your Aunt take a sip of her tea, your mother giving her sister a look of dissaproval. “I’m just saying, you must be doing something wrong. You need to have a man in your life,” she said, making you want to not only curl up into a ball of embarressment because she was saying this all in front of Scott, but also punch her in the face because of her arrogance. “Actually,” Scott piped up, slinging his arm over my shoulder, “I’m her boyfriend.” Good thing you weren’t taking another sip of water, because you’re pretty sure it would be all over the room right now. You watched as you Aunt’s face fell, and your mother suppress a laugh as she watched Scott smile cheekily in your Aunt’s direction. “Well,” you Aunt said flustered and a bit awkward, “very well then.”

Stiles: “What about this one?” You asked holding up a dress towards yourself, admiring the light green fabric. “(Y/N) honestly, you look beautiful in anything,” Stiles said a bit tired, making a small blush rise up your cheeks. You had dragged Stiles with you to get a dress for your cousins sweet 16, and after almost an hour, you could tell Stiles was getting pretty tired. “Okay, I’ll just get this one seeing as you look like you could take a nap right now,” you laughed, making Stiles smile and spring up from the seat he had taken on the ground, the two of you walking over to the checkout line. As you approached the counter, a boy took the dress from you, scanning it and swiftly putting it in a bag. “I’ll just add the employee discount to that for you,” he smiled as you handed him over the amount of money. “Uh, thanks,” you said thankfully as Stiles gave the guy a weird look. “Anything for a beautiful girl like you,” he said as you immediately felt an arm reach its way around your waist. Stiles tugged you closer to him, eyeing the cashier as you picked up the bag from the counter. “Uh, sorry man, didn’t know you were her boyfriend,” the boy said nervously, making you shake your head. “Oh no, he’s not-” you started, but got cut off by Stiles. “Mhm buddy, keep your eyes off,” Stiles said trying to act tough, leading you away from the cashier before you could say another word.

Isaac: “Now, choose your partner carefully, because you will not only be working with this person for the next two months, but it will directly account for forty percent of your grade in this class. And with those wise words of advice, go!” The teacher said, making everyone in the class spring up from their seats and run to the person they wanted as their partner. You looked over at your only friend in the class, Isaac, who already had a smile on his face as he sat down next to you. “Partners?” He asked, but just as you were about to respond, a boy walked up to you. You knew he was in a few of your classes, but you had never really talked to him. “Hey (y/n), want to be partners?” He asked cockily, already pulling up a seat before you had even responded. “So I can’t really work on this project all that much because of lacrosse practice, but I’ll make the cover page if you want?” He asked as you raised your eyebrows. Like hell you were doing all this project by yourself. “I don’t really know what you think, but I think (y/n) would rather work with her boyfriend, but that’s just my opinion,” Isaac stated rather annoyed, as you couldn’t help but let out a slight chuckle at the guys reaction. It was silent for a few moments while the boy stared at Isaac. “Oh, um yeah, of course,” he mumbled, standing up and walking away defeated as you looked at Isaac, both of you bursting into laughter.

Liam: “Liam, I need you to do me a favor,” you asked as the both of you stood in the hallway. “And what would that be?” He asked as he shoved a random textbook into his locker. You closed your locker and leaned against it as you nervously bit your lip. “Pretend to be my boyfriend,” you spit out before you had even realized what was happening. You hand flew to your mouth as your eyes bulged out of your head as he closed his locker and looked at you. “Excuse me?” He asked confused. “Look I-” You began to explain before a boy walked up, making you groan. “Why hello (y/n), looking lovely today,” the boy said as you put a fake smile on your face. You were pretty new to Beacon Hills, and this one boy has been bugging you since you got here. “So have you reconsidered my offer for a date yet?” He asked with eyebrows raised as you took a deep breath to remain calm. “Not entirely,” you said honestly as Liam looked between the two of you, jaw clenched together. “Well like I’ve said before, the offer still stands, and I would love to take you out,” he said. This kid would just not give up. Liam must have understood what was happening, because the next thing you knew, his arm was wrapped around your waist, and his lips briefly met yours. You tried not to look too shocked as Liam turned to face the boy. “Sorry, she’s taken,” he said with a big smile on his face.

5: “Wait a minute. Are you jealous?”

“So you’re coming to the game right?” Liam asked as you slammed your locker closed. “Of course,” you smiled, making Liam smile in return. Today was a big game between Beacon Hills High and Devenford Prep, and you wouldn’t miss the game for the world. You clutched your textbook to your chest as you walked side by side with Liam down the hall to your last class of the day, engaging in small talk that made the butterflies in your stomach go wild. What could you say? He was cute, and attractive, and funny, and literally one of the nicest people you knew. Falling for him was almost inevitable.

As the game was almost close to beginning, you found yourself walking towards the field with Mason, wanting to wish Liam good luck one last time. You found Liam sitting on the bench twirling his stick in between his fingers, his leg nervously jumping up and down as he watched the other players. Mason put his hand on Liam’s shoulder, causing his eyes to snap up to the two of us. “Man, you’re gunna do fine, calm down,” Mason laughed, causing Liam to exhale loudly. “Liam you’re an amazing lacrosse player, you’re going to do fine,”  you said honestly, finally making Liam break a small smile. The three of you talked for a few more minutes before you saw Mason staring across the field. You followed his line of sight to see one of the Devenford Prep players with his shirt off, his abs on full display. “Wow there Mason, don’t be greedy,” you joked, causing Mason to laugh, as Liam looked on confused. “You think he’s hot?” Liam asked annoyed as Mason shrugged. “I’m not saying yes, all I’m saying was if I said no, I would be lying,” he said, a quick chuckle escaping your lips. “What about you (y/n),” Liam asked his leg bouncing up and down once again, “do you think he’s hot?” You looked back over to the player as he was putting on his jersey, his muscles still on full display. “Yeah I guess so,” you said as Mason gave you a high five. You saw the way Liam’s jaw clenched up, his eyes not daring to leave yours as his knuckles wrapped tightly around his lacrosse stick. One of the coaches blew their whistles, indicating the game would be starting in a minute, causing Mason to say something about saving seats on the bleachers before running off. “Good luck Liam,” you said smiling as he his eyes now didn’t even look your way. “Liam?” You asked, moving in front of him, giving him no choice but to look at you. His face remained emotionless as his lips pressed in a straight line, making you frown. What the hell was with the three sixty in emotions? A moment of realization hit you, as you couldn’t help but smirk. “Wait a minute. Are you jealous?” you asked as Liam tried to brush it off. “What? Me? Jealous? Of what?” he mumbled standing up now as the team began to jog onto the field. “Liam,” you said getting his attention, wanting to make this right before the game began, knowing Liam wouldn’t be at his best in this state. “We’ll talk later okay? I have to go play a game,” he mumbled, pulling his helmet onto his head. “Hey Liam,” you said loudly as he had already jogged a bit away from you. He turned around slightly, as you let out another small smirk. “You’re hotter,” you said confidently, as you could practically see the smile radiate through his helmet.

10: “Teach me how to play?”

“Liam that was amazing!” You laughed, jumping up and hugging him. He wrapped his arms around you, spinning you around, as all the lacrosse players started clapping him on the back. He had just made the winning goal at a lacrosse game after it had been tied 1-1 for practically the whole game. He had made the goal within the last few seconds, making you jump up out of the bleachers and run onto the field. You let go of him, moving back a bit allowing the other guys to surround him in congratulation. You couldn’t help but smile to yourself watching him. He just looked so happy, a permanent grin plastered on his face. With all the drama going on in Beacon Hills, you cherished these moments. Moments where the two of you were normal high school students. Another minute or two passed before he rejoined you, pulling you back into a hug. “Ugh gross, you’re all sweaty,” you teased as he chuckled. “You didn’t seem to care right after I made the winning goal,” he said making you roll your eyes. “That was just me excited. But now you really need to go take a shower,” you laughed, pushing him in the direction of the locker room. He smiled, coming closer to you to give you a kiss before leaving, but you moved your head back. “Shower first,” you teased once again making him groan. “(y/n), I made the winning goal,” he whined. You laughed before placing a quick peck on his lips, a smile growing once again on his face. “Teach me how to play?” you asked right as he turned around to leave. “Really?” He asked turning back around to you. “Yeah. I mean, you’re pretty decent,” you joked, earning a chuckle, “and it seems fun.” He nodded, making you smile and turn around. But before you could head towards your car, you felt hands on your waist, pulling you towards them, and lips placed on your lips again. You looked up to see Liam smiling brightly once again, before turning around and jogging back up to the catch up to the others going into the locker room.
