Pairing: Vampire Michael x reader x Vampire Madison
A/N: Anon requested HC’s for M/M/R where M&M are vampires and the reader is human, so you know I had to indulge that
(sorry I know I use this gif a lot but LOOK AT THEM)
–
Michael is centuries old (despite prodding from both Madison and the reader, he won’t reveal exactly when he was turned)
Madison was turned, by Michael, in the 20s
Michael chose Mads as his mate because of her magic; he had met many witches, but none as strong as her
They often participated in an open relationship during their early years together, but always came back to each other
They prefer to live in LA, but travel all over the world
They meet the reader in LA, after watching her use magic to fight off a man that attempted to attack her
Michael is impressed by the skill he can sense lurking within her; Madison is just impressed by her in general
They first take her under their wing under the guise of teaching her how to control her magic
Madison falls in love with her almost immediately; Michael grants her permission to have her first outside relationship in decades because he can see how much she cares for her
As the three of them spend more time together, Michael slowly begins to fall in love with the reader, and she with him
Reader goes to confess her feelings for Micheal to Madison one night, but instead finds them drinking blood together
The shock does not go over well
After M&M calm the reader down, they confess that they are both in love with her; she, obviously returns their feelings, though she is frightened by them
Reader keeps her distance for a few weeks before returning home
Michael and Madison are able to cry maybe once a decade; Madison cries when she sees the reader at the doorstep
Reader is filled with questions and wants to know everything about them and their life together
To Michael and Madison’s amusement, the reader is disappointed that some of the legends about vampires aren’t true; she was curious about the coffin bit
Madison (much like The Countess) has a collection of art and music and fashion from the past few decades; she loves to show everything to the reader, and explain every story that goes with every piece
Michael and Madison flat out refuse to turn her (at first) despite her asking several times
Sex between them is always very soft and tender; neither one of them want to hurt the reader
Occasionally, when they’re in the mood for something more, the reader will sit by and watch M&M together
As much as she loves to sleep beside them, reader has her own room as well because she frequently gets too cold laying between them
Though they have their own supply of blood, the reader often lets M&M drink from her as a sign of trust and intimacy
Reader used to be a morning person before she met M&M; now she stays up at night with them
Reader once called Michael “Lestat” as a joke when he was being a brat; it eventually turned into her actual pet name for him
Reader absolutely loves to play with his hair
M&M have the most impeccable collection of black clothes; they always insist on dressing the reader in shades of red though (Madison often jokes that the color and the reader are their two favorite things)
After the three of them have been together for two years, Michael and Madison decide to turn the reader for their anniversary
They take her to bed, make love to her, and then ask her if she’s ready
Before they turn her, they take one last chance to listen to her heartbeat and watch her blush; Michael had always loved the sight of pink in her cheeks
Both Michael and Madison bite her and offer her their blood in return; neither one of them were willing to compromise as to who should be her maker
When the reader emerges from her transformation, M&M ask her how she feels
All she can say is how happy she is that she can finally sleep in between them without freezing to death
This is part 1 of the headcanons for the poly relationship between Michael/Madison/(female) reader that I’ve thought up. These all take place prior to the apocalypse. Part 2 will take place after the apocalypse, and will likely be split into sections and genres like these were. I know these kind of read more like a fic outline rather than HCs, but I do already have a fic in the works for them, so I think it’s why they’re so fleshed out.
Gen./backstory:
Reader is a witch
Reader is a particularly strong healer; also displays a talent for concilium, telekinesis and reversal spells; can complete roughly 4 out of the 7 wonders, though she shows no interest in ever attempting them
She and Madison have been together for a significant amount of time (at least six months to a year) before they choose to involve Michael in their relationship
They visit him on their own terms the night after the massacre at Robichaux, which they had only been lucky enough to survive because they had been out taking an overwhelmed and home sick young witch on a walk to clear her head
They are angry and hurt by the action he’d taken against their sisters, but they feel they have been betrayed by Cordelia, who had simply left her girls to die while she’d escaped with Mallory and Myrtle (NOTE: basing this strictly off of what we see in the series!)
They agree to join his fight, so long as he never harms another innocent witch; Michael agrees, thrilled to have their power on his side, working on what he considers to be a worthy cause
He finds it endearing the way they sleep curled together on Mead’s couch
After his first meeting at the cooperative, he fills them in on everything he can; what he knows about his destiny as the antichrist, the cooperative, the plan for the apocalypse
They agree to go back to Cordelia and pass whatever information they can about her plans to Michael
He watches them during the course of their entire day spent together, fascinated by all of the little touches they bestow on each other
Relationship backstory:
Madison and the reader are an extremely affectionate couple
Part of this stems from the amount of time they’d been separated while Madison was in hell (they had been best friends prior to being a couple and Madison going to hell had taken its tole on both of them) and part of it stems simply from the two of them savoring their relationship in the face of so much loss
Michael and Madison are drawn together first
Reader goes to Michael’s room one night to thank him for all that he’s done for Madison and is surprised to find that Madison is already there, sitting with her face inches away from Michael’s
Michael and Madison are drawn to the goodness within the reader; the purity of her heart
She revels equally in Michael’s darkness and Madison’s gray nature (it isn’t that she doesn’t have darkness of her own, she is just more light than the other two)
The three of them bring out the best in each other; they are each other’s balancing forces
Michael and Madison each take one of the reader’s hands when they explain their feelings to her; Madison stresses that she loves the reader more than her own life and always will and that nothing will happen with Michael unless the reader is with them
Neither one of them want to be with the other unless they can have the reader as well
Michael confesses he has been drawn to them and enticed by their relationship since the moment they met
Reader never gives them a direct answer; she simply draws them to her and kisses each one of them
Romance:
Reader always sleeps between Michael and Madison
The three of them rent a small apartment in LA, close enough to Ms. Mead’s house that Michael doesn’t forget his past all together, but far enough away to signal a fresh start
Reader likes to sit on Madison’s lap and stretch out across Michael’s while they talk together; Madison and Michael are holding hands while she does this
There is no jealously involved in the relationship; neither reader or Madison feels that their relationship has lost anything, but that it’s gained something; Michael loves how much the girls love each other
They spend as much time in LA as the Coven allows; Madison pretends to be working in Hollywood whenever they go to see Michael
Madison is the one who convinces him to grow his hair out; she loves tugging on it and playing with it
Michael and reader both have trouble sleeping and often stay up late in the night talking together; Madison is out the moment that her head hits the pillow
Reader is constantly stealing clothes or accessories from both of them; she loves to wear something that reminds her of her lovers, and they love to see her in things that belong to them
Madison is unbelievably soft when it comes to both Michael and reader, although if they were ever to call her out on it, she’d put a knife to their throats
Michael and Madison both draw strength from the reader and go to her for support when they need it
Reader gets stuck in Louisiana once while Madison goes out to LA; she and Michael, though happy to be with each other, are both hopelessly lost without her
Michael talks to them often about his plans for the future of the world after the apocalypse; he wants and needs them by his side
He calls them his Queens; Madison pretends to hate it but secretly, she loves it
Madison and reader wear matching rings on their ring fingers; the stone in the middle is a black diamond, and it is flanked by two rubies; they are meant to symbolize Michael and the girls
Surprisingly, they are an affectionate trio who loves pet-names; Madison calls both of them babe more than she calls them by their names; Michael is all about things like “darling” and “love” and he calls them “his girls”; reader is most drawn to using “darling”, but she has also been known to pull ridiculous things like “bunny rabbit” out of her hat, just to make them laugh.
NSFW:
Michael remains the only man the reader has ever slept with; during their first time together, Madison had sat behind her and stroked her hair and talked her through it
Even if one of the three of them isn’t participating in sex with the others, they like to stay in the room; they’re not necessarily there to watch, but to revel in the intimacy
Madison and reader keep up their own relationship when they are in Louisiana, though they frequently call Michael or involve him in their dirty talk if they are unable to get in touch with him (“Michael would be so proud of you”, etc.); he’s never far away from their thoughts
Michael loves to watch Madison get the reader off, and vice versa
Madison once walked in to find Michael fucking the reader up against the wall, and since then, she is constantly trying to put them in positions where it could happen again
Reader enjoys Madison handcuffing Michael to the bed and the two of them taking turns riding him
Madison made a sex playlist for them, because of course she did
Reader disappeared during dinner once, only to come back downstairs in nothing but one of Michael’s black dress shirts and a pair of Madison’s thigh high stockings; Michael had fucked her right on the table while she’d eaten Madison out; the remains reader’s favorite memory throughout the course of their entire relationship
Michael confesses he loves them after their first time together; reader is tucked against his chest and Madison is cuddled up behind her; as he watches them, he’s filled with so much adoration that he can’t hold it in
Double penetration is a favorite all around
Madison is the kinkiest one; she introduces both reader and Michael to what she likes (reader: “why did you never do this with me?” madison: “well it didn’t seem right then” reader: “and now?” madison: “babe… we’re fucking the antichrist….”)
Bondage becomes a must
Any time their sex involves something kinky, Michael is always the most insistent one about aftercare; despite the darkness inside him, he wants to do everything he can to protect his girls
Part two of the M&M/reader HCs to keep you guys satisfied while you wait for the fic! These are all set in the post-apocalypse timeline. Anything about their relationship not explored in either this or pt. 1 will be explored in the one shot series coming up. All aspects of both pt. 1 and pt. 2 will also be expanded on in the series.
I’m so excited that this ship took off the way it did, and that so many of you are so invested in the story. It seriously warms my heart. I, obviously, love them very much, and I’m so glad that so many of you do too.
(me, gifing this scene in complete denial: awww look he’s reaching out for her!!! he wants her attention!!! he loves her!!! they’re so happy!!!)
Gen.:
Reader and Madison stay with Michael as often as they can in
the period of time leading up to the apocalypse
He offered (more like begged and pleaded) for them to be
taken to a bunker so he knew they’d be safe when the bombs fell, but they’d
elected to stay with Cordelia so they wouldn’t arouse any kind of suspicion
Hawthorne is chosen as the location for Outpost Three
because of its significance to Michael; it was there that he first saw Madison
and the reader together
Madison and the reader are able to convince Myrtle that Outpost
Three is where she and Cordelia need to place Mallory and Coco; they know that
Mallory’s magic will be what awakens them and that Cordelia will seek her out
there; they want their reunion with Michael and their final showdown with the
Coven to occur in a place that has meaning for them
The three of them decide Outpost Three will be the last of
the Outposts that Michael visits; it isn’t that they aren’t eager to reunite
with him, it’s just that they want all other distractions cleared away before
he encounters the Coven
Outpost Three will be where they choose to start their new
life together
In the days leading up to the last time they will see each
other, Michael becomes doubtful that what he is asking Madison and the reader
to do is in their best interest; he stresses that if they are having any second
thoughts, if they wish to remain loyal to their coven, to simply let him know
and he’ll allow them to go
They refuse, of course
Madison and the reader make Michael aware ahead of time
exactly who Mallory and Coco really are; this is what leads to the concoction
of the poison apples plan (Madison and the reader hadn’t counted on Cordelia
reviving them when they’d arrived at the outpost; as angry as they are at
Cordelia, they had initially wanted their sisters to have a more peaceful
death, at least until Mallory and Coco had stood against Michael)
After their reunion at the Outpost and the slaughter of the
Coven, M&M/reader easily adjust to their new lives
With the witches dead, the reader insists that the rest of
the people in the Outpost who had been murdered by the poison apples be revived
(Nothing has ever amused Madison more than the disappointed
look on Gallant’s face when he realizes that Michael is indeed spoken for)
Reader often follows Michael out into the wasteland when he
goes on supply runs or meets with other members of the cooperative; she uses
her powers to heal as much of the earth (and the survivors they encounter) as
she can
Michael has done his duty and ended the world for his father,
now he wants to focus on building a new one; he is happy to watch the reader
mend and fix what she’s able to in order to let that new world flourish
With Cordelia and Mallory both dead, both the reader’s and Madison’s
powers expand exponentially; they teasingly call each other the supreme, though
neither one of them would ever step up to accept that title; they are happy to
let the foundations of their old coven die in the past
The survivors of the outpost eventually genuinely take to
M&M/reader, and are especially grateful to reader for insisting on having
them brought back to life
Relationship:
The period of time where they are separated after the bombs fall
is agony for Michael; he knows that Madison and the reader will be safe, that
Cordelia wouldn’t let any harm to come to them, but being without them for so
long weighs on his more than he thought it would
Michael is able to feel it when Mallory’s magic wakes up
Madison and the reader
Both Madison and the reader are absolutely FLOORED when the
arrive at the Outpost with Cordelia to find that Michael’s grown his hair out; he
teases Madison mercilessly about her reaction, given that she was the one who had
spent so long talking him into it
A few days after their reunion, reader decides to do a blood
ritual that will bind their magic together; Madison teases her about not just
proposing like normal people would, but she’s secretly touched that she would
get to share something so personal with the two people she loves the most
(thank you for the idea @wroteclassicaly!)
The ritual allows them to be much more in tune with each
other’s magic, as well as the magic of any outsider; they are able to sense it
(they ultimately sense weak power inside Emily, and Madison and reader begin training
her; the Coven lives on through them, but is new and fresh and not bound by the
mistakes of its old Supremes)
Roughly six months after the arrival of Madison and reader
at the outpost, Michael senses something
through their joined magic; he announces that the reader is pregnant that night
over dinner, shocking both of the girls
Madison had long ago taken preventative measures to avoid ever
becoming pregnant herself, so they were always aware that any children they
ever went on to have would be the reader’s
None of them had ever expected it to happen so soon though
When their daughter is born, she immediately melts all three
of her parents’ hearts
Reader is the designated boo-boo fixer; she is constantly
healing the little bumps and scrapes her little girl gets from running through
the Outpost; she also loves to use her talent for concilium to make Michael and
Madison do the most ridiculous things to get her daughter to laugh
Michael always has her on his lap while he’s at work in his
office; recalling his own memories of his time at Hawthorne, he will often
absentmindedly swirl snowflakes around the room for her amusement
Madison ends up being the one she goes to to learn more
about magic; she will sit with her daughter for hours to work on growing her
powers, all while the reader looks on fondly
Becoming parents only solidifies the bond and the love
between the three of them; they would kill, or die, for the protection of each
other and their daughter
Romance:
Michael may have a harder outer persona at the Outpost, but
he is entirely soft around Madison
and the reader; living without them for two years had been almost too much for
him to bear
Prior to their separation and the apocalypse, reader had
offered to use her power of mind control to alter his memories so he would
forget about her and Madison until after the three of them were reunited; he
had flat out refused
The day after their reunion, he holds them both for hours,
just reveling in being back in their presence; Madison tries to tease him about
this but she can’t even get the words out because she knew she wouldn’t be handling
it nearly as well as he was if she was in his position
Unable to watch him hurt after all that they know has
happened to him, Madison and the reader are able to merge their magic to leave
his memories intact, but erase the pain associated with them
Madison and the reader also finally craft him a ring that
matches the ones they wear; they use dust from the earth outside the Outpost to
forge the materials for it
The blood ritual that bound their magic together also has a
way of making them more in tune with each other’s emotions
When the reader is pregnant, she and Michael go out of their
way to make sure Madison feels included every step of the way; they can feel
through their bond how much that matters to her, how worried she was that she
may become irrelevant to them over time
During this time, the reader pulls her aside to remind her
that their decision to include Michael in their relationship had changed
everything as well, but for the better; she promises Madison that is what their
child will do too; Madison will never be excluded from their family
As a sign of their love for her, Michael and the reader
allow Madison to name their daughter when she’s born
NSFW:
It takes only minutes after they have done away with the
coven for Madison to attack Michael,
pulling at his hair and knocking him down onto the stairs; reader follows behind
her, but not without taking a moment to just laugh at her
The changes to Michael’s appearance and demeanor have both
Madison and the reader weak in the knees for days after they’ve reunited
The sex over the course of those first few days is hot; it’s hard and rough and filthy and typically
quick, though it’s split into several sessions a day; they have enough lost
time to make up for without wasting anymore with slow, lazy lovemaking
Michael becomes more dominating than he ever was before; the
girls are both incredibly weak for it
Madison had always been the biggest dirty talker out of the
three of them; that honor belongs to Michael now
Madison’s new favorite power move to wield over Michael is
to tug on his hair; she tugs on it to get him to go down on her, encourages the
reader to tangle her fingers into it while she rides him
After the blood ritual, Micheal discovers he can use their
bonded magic to get Madison and the reader off without ever even touching them;
he doesn’t even have to be in he same room as they are
The revived Outpost survivors are frequently walking in on
things they don’t want to see, or overhearing things they don’t want to hear;
it eventually gets so bad that they have to sit M&M/reader down and remind
them that they are not, in fact, the last three people on Earth
Reader has taken to sitting around their room in nothing but
one of Michael’s dinner jackets, which drives him wild; Madison loves to use
his cravats to tie up the reader during bondage (or to be tied up with them
herself)
Desk sex in the Outpost’s office is their new favorite thing
Reader and Madison both also develop an affinity for blowing
Michael while he sits in one of the office’s leather armchairs
They had, of course, always known Michael was the
antichrist, but the first time they see him do one of his blood rituals, Madison
and the reader are totally and completely gone;
reader straddles his hips to ride him right there, trailing her tongue up each
of his arms to heal the cuts
