To Peter, sleeping beside the person he loves is the most peaceful and intimate thing in the world.
He loves the few minutes where you’re both half-asleep and just staring at each other, heads on the same pillow and breathing in sync. He’ll rest a hand on your cheek and rub circles there with his thumb, smiling softly as your eyelids grow heavy.
When Peter has had a hard day, he loves to lie with his arms around your waist and his head on your belly. The rhythmic movement of your breathing and your fingers combing through his hair lulls him to sleep and helps him forget his bad day, every time.
If you fall asleep in class, Peter will make sure his notes are absolutely word perfect so he can give you them that night. He’ll rub your back (you sit next to each other in all your classes) and try to answer all the teacher’s questions so that you don’t get caught out for sleeping.
Peter loves when you sleep on top of him. You nestle your face into the crook of his neck, hug his torso, and throw one of your legs over his, as he massages your back. He feels so safe and loved when you nuzzle your face towards him and he can rest his cheek on top of your head, the soft sounds of your snores reassuring him that you’re there.
Once, the two of you tried to do an all-nighter to watch all the Harry Potter movies. After four movies, Peter was noticeably swaying as he struggled to stay awake. You just smiled, and pulled him into your arms so that he could lie down and sleep. It’s one of his favourite memories.
When Peter is away on a mission, he FaceTimes you at night when you’re going to bed. He tells you all about that day of the mission, and you feel yourself falling even more in love with him as you see how happy and proud he is to be saving the world. He’ll constantly trail off with a “you sound tired, pretty girl, I should let you sleep…” before remembering something else from the mission that he just has to tell you. If you fall asleep on the phone with him, he’ll smile guiltily before whispering a goodnight to you and hanging up, falling asleep to dreams of being home with you.
-There was a lot of staring from both of you, but more so from Peter.
– Not very subtle either, you caught him in the act a lot
-His face would go bright red and he’d cough and immediately turn away trying to play it off. He usually just ended up choking instead of coughing
– You were more lowkey about it
– stealing glances at the cute nerd
-You figured he was never going to make a move and talk to you, so you did.
-You decided to go talk to him while he was at his locker,
-But you being there startled him. He banged his head on the locker and the conversation ended up a bunch of awkward apologies on both ends.
-Peter was flustered the rest of the day, and kept bothering Ned about it too. “But dude (Y/n) walked up to me! what if they wanted to say something but I ruined it? I ruined everything. Now (Y/n) hates me and will never speak to me again. That’s it, I’m going to die alone.”
-“Dude I’m still here, you’ll only die partially alone. When I have a life.”
-So, you tried to approach him again. This time while he was on his laptop, far away from any lockers in hopes of not causing him pain, but rather asking him out.
-“Hi Peter!”
-“(Y/n)! (Y/n), hello (y/n), what are you um, I mean, Hi (Y/n).” his fidgeting is so adorable you want to ‘aww’ at him.
Finding Out He’s Spider-Man:
-cue graceful Andrew Garfield-like smashing into every wall, ceiling and piece of furniture in the room while trying to yank his mask off.
-“Peter what did you do! my room looks like there actually was a tornado!”
-“I-I tripped”
-“And ended up on my ceiling?!”
He really sucked at the whole keeping a secret identity thing, his lying skills are nonexistent. It’s really sad if you’ve seen him try.
-There were a lot of spider jokes after that. A lot.
-Waking up to him calling you in the middle of the night when he needs a little extra help patching himself up.
-Or occasionally when he barely manages to hit dial because his phone is stuck to his ankle..
-“Peter why are you calling so late, did get caught in your own webbing or something?”
-“….”
-“You got caught in your own webbing again didn’t you.”
-*spins laptop towards Peter*
-“Who’s that flying through the air with the greatest or ease? Spider-man!”
-“(Y/n) can you stop with the videos? specifically the ones where I crash into things” he mumbled
Videos:
-Since you already know he’s Spiderman, Peter gets to show you all his videos of going to Germany and during fights, while adding to his commentary while showing you.
-He loves texting you and face timing whenever possible but when it isn’t he resorts to recording all his adventures (and cutesy ‘I love you’s’) throughout the day to give you later.
Cuddling:
-Peter Benjamin Parker is a cuddle bug.
-He’s always ready to cuddle whenever you are!
-And a little bit pouty when you aren’t. He just wants affection.
-Peter also has the cuddliest hoodies and sweaters, along with a pile of after-Christmas fluffy discount blankets so it’s perfect.
-Besides, his apartment doesn’t get too warm during the winter so extra cuddle excuses.
-Not that you need much convincing.
-Peter gladly lays in whatever position you want, he’s just happy to be close to you.
-His favorite though is snuggled against you, his head on your chest and arms around your waist. Optimal Parker Cuddles.
-Aunt May has so many pictures of you and Peter fast asleep all curled up together.
-Him calling you his little prince/princess and telling you one day you will be the heir to a worthy kingdom.
-He teaches you magic, just as Frigga did him.
-Also teaches you to be as quickly cunning and crafty he is, all the skills necessary to get out of the stickiest situations.
-‘Uncle Thor’ loves you, and visiting you. Much to Loki’s displeasure.
-He wants to do good by you, something he wasn’t able to with your past siblings.
And vows to be a much better father than Odin was to him.
-You’re his prankster protégé, he gives you tips and sends you off to practice on the avengers. (They can’t stay mad with your adorable charm)
-Each night before bed he will tell you a story, even as you grow older. It’s something he has done since your birth night.
-Usually it’s one of the many tales of his adventurous times with Thor.
-Loki will teach you to master twin blades just like him, and will help you design a functional (green and black if he can convince you) signature attire. One must be stylish in the midst of battle, just look at him.
-He has made many consequential mistakes, many of which people still speak of bitchily. And hopes he will at least be able to give you advice.
-Is both furious and overly proud when you finally become good enough with your magic and abilities to slip past him. Will roll his eyes when you try sneaking back, he made this game. Definitely points out the flaws in your plan.
-He’s not happy you tried tricking him but it’s better him now then to fail later he supposes.
-Speaking of, he is extremely disappointed when you’re caught in a lie or con.
-He taught you better than to be caught.
-Not a lovey dovey or boisterous father like Thor would be, (Not that you don’t get all that from uncle Thor anyway, he’s so proud of you. Even if you stab someone. It’s a family thing he supposes.) but Loki truly cares for you. His sentiment is just more unspoken and tries to show he cares for you other ways.
-You came home with a ‘puppy’ once and it was your long lost brother Fenris.
-What a day that was. Loki had a migraine and you determinedly decided to keep your brother.
-You always join him on his sudden ‘adventures’ whether you’re into the whole planet ruling thing or not. It’s father-child bonding time.
-He always finds a way to assure your safety no matter what he gets himself into.
-You are the one thing that could be lorded over him, but he refuses to let that happen.
-He likes Peter Parker, truly he’s an interesting goofy kid. Respectful idiot, from time to time.
-Likes Peter less when he notices how starry eyed Peter is upon seeing you for the first time. And every moment after.
– “No.” he mutters while catching Peter starring at you for the umpteenth time and drags him away by the collar of his shirt, leaving you confused
i am so here for the headcanon that peter has his bisexual awakening because of thor
Ned and Peter are sitting on the floor of Tony’s workshop, a new Lego set spread out around them, animatedly discussing something to do with Star Wars. In all honesty, Tony isn’t really paying attention. He’s watching Peter for the week while May is out of town on a much needed vacation, free of the stress of keeping one Peter Parker out of trouble, and the kid had begged him to let Ned come over. He’d been doing a pretty good job of resisting until Peter busted out his puppy dog eyes.
Damn those puppy dog eyes.
The pace of the teenagers’ conversation changes, however, and that’s enough to make Tony tune in absentmindedly.
“So, wed, bed, or behead with Luke, Leia, and Han.”
Tony nearly rolls his eyes are the juvenile line of questioning. Of course the kids would end up thinking with their downstairs brains. Why did he let a bunch of teenagers into his lab, again?
Peter’s answer is immediate. If Tony’s being honest, it’s a little too immediate. “Wed Leia, bed Han, and kill Luke. Sorry, Luke.”
Huh. That’s… an interesting answer. Without hesitation, either. No qualification for the choice of Han. Most boys Peter’s age would be far too concerned about their masculinity to say something like that openly, even to their best friend.
Ned seems unphased. “Dude, Luke is way more your type.”
Tony stills his hands on the StarkPad he’s using to draw up a diagram as Peter shushes his friend quickly. “Ned! Shut up!”
Alright. Time to join in.
“You got a thing for Han Solo, kid?”
Peter groans. “I-I had to choose a guy for one of them, y’know? It’s not a big deal, Mister Stark. It’s just a stupid game.”
Tony watches Ned stare openly at Peter, eyes flickering wildly between his friend and the billionaire seated a few feet away.
It clicks. Tony laughs the moment that it does.
“Jesus, kid. Are you actually hiding your sexuality from me?”
Peter chokes. “W-What? What are you talking about, M-Mister Stark? I, uh, I don’t…”
Ned elbows him in the side. “Dude.”
Tony sighs dramatically. “You’re fine, Peter. I don’t mind if you’re gay. Seriously. And since we’re having a nice heart to heart here, I’ll even admit that I’ve done some pretty gay shit in my time too, bud. As long as you’re using protection, you can screw everyone and anybody that you want and I’ll be a happy guy. Capishe?”
“I’m, uh, not gay.”
“You’re a terrible liar.”
“I’m not!” Peter’s squeaky exclamation only makes Tony’s smirk widen. “I’m bi!”
“Wow. So you really are screwing everybody and anybody, huh? Well, congratulations on your optimal sexual orientation, kid. The sky’s the limit, and all that jazz.”
Peter just gapes at his mentor for a second while Ned tries to muffle his laughter in the kid’s shoulder.
Tony tries to break some of the tension. “How long’ve you know, anyway? How’d you figure it out?”
Ned’s entire body is shaking with uncontrollable laughter now, and Peter slaps his arm. “Ned! Stop it!” He turns back to his mentor. “I, uh, well, I wouldn’t say that there was a particular mo-”
The other boy finally detaches himself from Peter’s shoulder to snicker. “It was all because of Thor, Mister Stark.”
“Ned!”
“Come on! It’s too funny to not tell him! I mean, he knows Thor, Peter!”
“Exactly, Ned!”
Tony, meanwhile, is trying to fight back laughter of his own. “I’m sorry. Thor was the reason for your sexual awakening?”
Peter groans, shoving his face in his hands, while Ned just smirks. “It was amazing, Mister Stark. We were talking about Black Widow and then Peter just declares, unprompted, that he’d probably rather screw Thor. So I asked him if he was gay and he was like, “no, Ned! Of course not.” But then I was explaining to him that, uh, it isn’t entirely normal to thirst after random guys if you’re not at least a little gay and his entire face goes blank before he says, in the tiniest voice ever: “uh, Ned? I, uh, I think I’m not as straight as I thought.” It was the greatest day of my life, Mister Stark. I wish you could have seen it.”
Tony is bent over his worktable in hysterics by the time Ned finishes the story. His amusement is only bolstered by the look of pure horror on Peter’s face.
“I can’t believe you told him that!” Peter’s face is flushed so brightly that Tony briefly worries he’ll faint. “Ned!”
His friend only laughs harder, giving Peter a halfhearted pat on the back and burying his face into the other boy’s stomach.
After Tony’s certain Peter isn’t going to keel over on shock, he shoots the pair a winning grin.
“So… are you two a thing, then?”
“Oh, uh, well, we…”
The billionaire feels a warm fondness run through him at Peter’s awkward stuttering.
Fandom: Avengers/Marvel Paring: Peter Parker x Stark!Reader Summary:Soooo I know I just wrote a Peter Parker fic…but I read all these imagines about a Stark!reader dating Spiderman and the Avengers find out and make fun of them for dating. BUT I wondered what would happen if things were turned around and if the Avengers didn’t know Peter was Spiderman, and are in shock because they thought the reader was just dating normal ol’ Peter Parker!
“So, when is Mr. Parker picking you up?” Steve asked eyeing you from the top of his coffee mug. “Is that question supposed to end with you cracking your knuckles? Because it sounds like that’s where you’re going,” you said shooting an equally skeptical look to the overprotective hero. “Cut her a break Steve,” Natasha said walking into the room with Sam. “You look cute Y/N.” “Oooh, is lover boy coming over today?” Sam teased. “No,” you said crossing your arms. You loved living with the Avengers, they had become like family. But you didn’t like your love life being Avengers business, they acted each date was some mission they were all studying for. And you dad was, of course, their leader. “’Lover’ is a word I never want to hear in reference to my daughter’s boyfriend.” your dad entered the room, nodding to his teammates. “Sorry Tony,” Sam said smirking. Tony glancing over at you, “honey are you sure you don’t want to bring a sweater …or maybe just a long trenchcoat. I heard it’s going to rain.” You looked down at your sundress and then at the cloudless blue sky outside. “I think I’ll be ok,” you said sarcastically. “What do we really know about this kid anyways?” Steve said, “He needs to be properly vetted.” “He’s not a supervillian or criminal mastermind Steve,” you said. But even as you rolled your eyes you felt a sense of anxiety behind your words. You knew full well Peter had abilities that were way beyond a regular human’s. “He’s just an ordinary teenage boy.” “Exactly my point.” “Actually now that Steve mentions it…I’m pretty good at interroga- I mean vetting people.” Natasha offers. “NO!” As if on cue FRIDAY announced Peter’s arrival and you threw a warning glance at everyone before the door opened. “H-Hey guys,” Peter said waving to everyone. “Mr. Parker,” Tony acknowledged, wearing his terrifying I-already-know-everything-you’re-going-to-do-and-I-don’t-approve face. “M-Mr. Stark,” Peter moved to shake your dad’s hand. It was odd seeing them interact. You knew that despite his current demeanor, your dad actually liked Peter. He knew everything about Peter- he knew he was Spiderman and he knew that at his core, Peter was a great kid. It’s one of the reasons he recruited him, and why Tony continued to keep his identity a secret from the Avengers and SHIELD- he had some respect for Peter. And yet from the moment yours and Peters friendship turned into something more, Tony couldn’t help but act like an overbearing father. “She needs to be home by 10pm. No later, or I’m sending the Iron Legion after you.” It wasn’t a completely empty threat as Tony did have Steve and Bucky spy on you on your first date. You gave a mumbled ‘yes sir’ and dragged Peter out the door. The moment you were out of the tower Peter stopped and pulled your face close to his. He kissed you deeply but gently, making your breath hitch in your throat. “I meant to tell you, you look beautiful today.” he said, giving you a smile that lit up his whole face.
“I’m just saying, there’s something off about that Parker kid.” Sam said glaring at you and Peter as you laughed from the couch. The two of you were forcing Vision and Wanda to watch Star Wars, and were dying listening to their commentary. “Why does that man wear a mask?” Vision asked of Darth Vader, “Is he asthmatic, or is his respiratory system impaired?” Steve looked at Sam out of the corner of his eye, “like there’s something he’s not telling us.” “Exactly! Plus I feel like there’s something familiar about him. In his voice maybe? Or the way he tries to swagger around. Little punk.” “He snuck into the Tower the other night, pretty beat up.” The boys jumped at the sudden appearance of Natasha, “I saw Y/N meet him, panicked. She patched him up and sent him on his way.” Steve and Sam looked at her with renewed interest, “whatever you want to do,” she said, “I’m in.”
The three decided to follow Peter home that night. But they only got a few blocks from Avengers Tower before Peter made a sharp turn into a dark alley. “Ok, that’s not suspicious at all.” Sam said into their communication device. “Stay with him.” Steve warned. But when the three Avengers rounded the corner into the alley it was empty. Looking bewildered they peaked around dumpsters and checked doors to see if he slipped through one of them. But the only thing they found was a backpack, stuck between a brick wall and rusted fence. “Is that Peter’s?” Natasha asked. “More importantly what is it stuck with?” Sam said. Steve pulled at the white substance holding the backpack to the wall. “It’s like-like a web.” Steve looked up at his friends, backpack in hand and eyes wide. “NoO WAY!” Sam shouted. “It can’t be” Natasha said breathlessly.
“I”m telling ya’ll, this kid is this Spiderman!” Sam whispered harshly to Nat and Steve. They had all come back to the Tower after following Peter, unable to process what they saw. They couldn’t imagine how nervous, nerdy Peter Parker was the web-slinging, smack-talking hero they had faced in Berlin. This left them waiting to see if Peter came home with you from school, and debating how to reveal such a devastating secret. “More like Spider-boy. Kid probably doesn’t even know how to shave.” Nat said leaning across the kitchen island. “We have to tell Tony, he’s Y/N’s father. He deserves to know if she’s going to be swung around New York.” Sam insisted. “We can’t- we can’t say anything until we know for sure.” Steve said, “all we have is a backpack covered in webs-” Their conversation ended abruptly at the sound of your laughter. You and Peter walked into the kitchen, holding hands and giggling uncontrollably. “O-oh, Sorry!” Peter apologized. “Hey guys! Whatcha doing?” you asked, breaking from Peter to walk over to the the counter and grab an apple. “Planning a top secret mission?” Steve noticed Peter eye them at the sound of the word ‘mission.’ “Just taking bets on how long your dad is going to go before hacking into SHIELD again. He caught wind that they put new firewalls up.” Nat lied effortlessly. You shrugged and turned to go, “Come on Peter.” “Where are you two off to?” Steve asked not really wanting to leave you alone with Peter. He didn’t know what was going on, but he knew he didn’t trust him. “Homework.” Peter said “Y/N is barely making it through Chemistry-ow!” You elbowed him, “you said you wouldn’t tell anyone!” You looked at the group, “please don’t tell my dad. I’m trying, it’s just- my brain isn’t wired like his.” “Plus,” you added out of lighthearted spite, “Peter is failing Literature, so I’m not the only one who needs help.” Peter looked at you, mouth agape in mock offense. You stuck out your tongue at him. The two of you turned to leave and Sam got nervous. He had to do something. Without thinking he shouted “Hey Peter!” and threw the nearest item he could grab. Before he heard Sam call his name Peter sensed the item hurtling towards the two of you. Instinctively and without even looking Peter reached up and caught the item mid air. Everyone’s mouths dropped open in shock. Peter began to try and stutter out an explanation, his brown eyes wide with fear, but he couldn’t think of anything to say. His whole world was just exposed. “WHY DID YOU JUST THROW A KNIFE AT MY BOYFRIEND!?” Peter looked down and realized the item he was holding was a long kitchen knife, “What the hell dude?! Did you just try to kill me?” Peter exclaimed. Steve and Natahsa also stared at Sam, not knowing whether to be more in shock over Peter or the fact that Sam had accidentally (on purpose) thrown a knife at a random teenager. “I-It was the first thing I could grab!” Sam shouted in his defense, “We caught him in an alley last night-well found his backpack and wanted to prove that he was…well something! And I didn’t want you to leave without figuring it out so I just threw something!” his words ran together in a panic. “I was trying to prove he was Spiderman!” You stared at him in utter disbelief, “BUT WHAT IF HE WASN’T?!” you shouted. “Yeah, not my best plan…” “Oh my God! I’m going to kill you!” you lunged at Sam but Peter grabbed you, holding you back. “You better run man.”
Caught In The Act (Peter Parker x reader, Tony Stark x Daughter!reader)
You and Peter both giggled when you pushed him down onto your bed, and climbed on top of him. You looked down at him, a grin on both of your faces, and stroked his cheek.
You leant down and pressed your lips to his, holding onto the collar of his shirt, pulling him up towards you. You both deepened the kiss, his tongue slipping into your mouth.
You pulled back from the kiss and pulled your shirt off, throwing it onto the floor, leaving you in just your bra. You looked down at Peter grinning up at you, and bit your lip.
You leant down to kiss him again, but Peter stopped you abruptly, “Y/N, wait. Are you sure about this? I mean…we don’t have to do this now. If you don’t want to.”
You sighed, “Peter, of course I’m sure about this. We’ve talked about this before. You’re ready, I’m ready. Let’s do it. Don’t worry, okay?”
He nodded, “Yeah, alright….” He grabbed your shoulders gently and pulled you down, your lips connecting. You felt Peter’s hand graze over your waist and you let out a small giggle.
You pulled your lips away and moved them to his neck, leaving small kisses along the nape and his jaw. He let out small moans, which only encouraged you to carry on.
However after a few seconds he stiffened, “Y/N.”
You shook your head, “Peter, shut up…. it’s fine.” You continued kissing his neck, but Peter insisted on speaking.
“No, Y/N….you need to stop.”
You sat up, furrowing your eyebrows, “What? Why?” You saw the fear in his eyes being directed at the door, and you turned to see the source of his fear.
Which just so happened to be Tony Stark. Genius, Billionaire, ex-playbox, philanthropist. Also your dad.
Your eyes widened and you threw yourself off of Peter and onto your bedroom floor, hiding behind your bed.
Peter sat up quickly, “Mr Stark, I’m so sorry. I’m really sorry. We were just….”
Tony shook his head, “Don’t wanna hear it, kid.” He slammed your bedroom door shut, and went straight down to his workshop to process what he had just witnessed.
You sighed and sat up, grabbing your t-shirt and pulling it on quickly, “I guess I should go and talk to him.”
Peter nodded, “I think I’m gonna go home. I don’t wanna get in the middle of any of this.”
You stood up and nodded, “Yeah, that’s fine. Call me later?”
He nodded, “Of course.” And with that, you rushed off to find your dad.
You checked the kitchen, the lounge and his bedroom, but you couldn’t find him anywhere. Then you realised where he would be: his workshop. You sighed and pulled out your phone, calling your stepmom, Pepper Potts.
Pepper answered in a few seconds, “Pepper Potts speaking.”
You couldn’t help but chuckle at the posh voice Pepper used to answer her phone before you spoke, “Hey, Pepper. It’s Y/N.”
“Y/N! Are you okay? Is Tony acting out? Do you need me to come back.”
You chuckled, “No, I just need the passcode to his workshop. That’s all.”
You heard her sigh from the other end of the phone, “You didn’t hear this from me, but it’s the date and month of your birthday.”
You scoffed, “That’s a weak password. Look, I gotta run. I’ll call you later. Love you, bye.”
She chuckled, “Love you too.” And then you hung up and made your way down to your dads workshop.
You looked through the glass window and saw your dad knelt down, fixing one of his suits. Typical. You bit your lip and entered the passcode into the keypad beside the door, and pushed the door open gently.
You closed the door, and started walking towards your dad. You knew that he had heard you open the door, but had chosen to stay silent.
You bit your lip, tapping his shoulder gently, “Dad? Can we talk?”
He sighed, still refusing to face you, “How did you get in here?”
You shrugged, “I just…guessed the password.”
He groaned quietly, “Damn you, Potts.” He stood up and faced you, staring at you blankly. “What’s up?”
You sighed, you knew he would try and give you the silent treatment and pretend he saw nothing, “I think you know why I came to talk to you…”
He raised his eyebrows, “Does it have anything to do with the fact that you were sat half naked on top of Peter Parker?”
You nodded, “Yeah… look, I can explain.”
He sat down on his stool, “Go on then, explain.”
You sighed, “Dad, you know Peter. You know he wouldn’t ever hurt me, you know he’s a good kid. Me and Peter are so good together, and we’ve been together for a long time now. We’re gonna want to…do stuff with each other. It’s natural.”
He sighed, “Look, I get it, Y/N, I really do. I get that you and Peter love each other and I get that you’re gonna want to show your love. I’m just worried…”
You frowned, sitting next to him, “Why are you worried? Dad, I’m fine. We’ll be fine.”
He nodded, “I know. I know you’ll be fine. I just don’t want you to make the same mistakes that I did when I was younger. I don’t want you to be like me.”
You took his hand, “Dad, I would be nothing but proud of myself if I turned out like you. You’re the strongest man I know, and if I could be half the person you are, I’d know I’d be doing something right.”
He looked away from you for a few seconds and a small grin took over your features, “Dad? Are you crying?”
He shook his head, sniffling a little, “No…no of course not, I just…have something in my eye…”
You laughed a little, “You are so, totally crying.”
He sighed, “Yeah I guess I am. Come here.” He opened his arms for a hug and you happily obliged, resting your head on his chest.
You smiled a little, “I love you, dad.”
“I love you too. And if you’re gonna do it with Peter Parker please make sure I’m not in the house.”
