It was a known fact that Peter was very protective of his band shirts, and despite Scott always stealing his roommates clothes, he would never touch one of his band shirts. So when Peter notices that his signature Pink Floyd t-shirt is missing, Scott is his first suspect.
“Scott, if you give it back now, I won’t be mad, I swear.” Peter says, turning from his chest of drawers to face his roommate. Scott’s eyebrows furrow together in confusion. “I have no idea what you’re on about, speedy.” Peter rolls his eyes. “My Pink Floyd t-shirt. It’s missing.” Peter starts speeding around the room in a panic. “Bro, stop. You’re gonna give a headache watching you run around the room like this.”
“Seriously, just give it me back, its my favourite, Scott.” He says, coming to a stand still in front of Scott. Scott lets out a loud sigh – “I promise, I didn’t take it, Pete.” Peter sinks down on the bed, finally trusting his roommate. “Why don’t you ask Jean? See if she can use her power or something.” And with that, Peter sped off to find her.
Before Peter can even open his mouth, Jean begins to talk. “Y/N’s wearing it. She’s in her room with Kurt.” Peter nods his head and thanks her. “Wait, why would Y/N be wearing my shirt?” Peter asks, confused. “I don’t know. But, it’s probably something to do with the fact she has a crush on you.” Jean starts to walk away, a smirk plastered on her face. “She likes me back?!” Jean laughs as Peter speeds off again, this time in the direction of Y/N’s room.
He knocks on the door and hears her shout ‘come in!’ as he enters the room. “Hi Y/N. Hi Kurt, is there any chance you could excuse us for a moment?” Peter asks, fiddling with the hem of his jacket. Y/N’s never seen him look this nervous before now. “Of course, Peter. See ya later, Y/N.” Kurt says, his thick German accent coming through, leaving the room.
“Is that my shirt? Well, I know it’s my shirt, Jean just told me you were wearing it. Wait, why are you wearing it? Not that it matters, you do look adorable in it. You look adorable in anything, really. Just especially in my clothes. Oh God, did I just say all of that out loud?” Peter rushes through his words, causing Y/N to giggle. She pats the space on the bed next to her, inviting him to sit there. “Sorry, I should have asked. But, I came to your room to see you and it was there so I put it on… It just smelled like you and I-” Y/N says before being cut off by Peter. “It’s fine, Y/N.” They both just sat there, smiling to each other.
“Hold on, what else did Jean say?” Y/N asks, panic taken over her voice. “Nothing much, just that you liked me back.” Peter says, his usual sarcastic tone seeping through. Y/N throws her head into her hands, clearly embarrassed. “Oh, gosh. I’m gonna kill Jean when I next see he- Wait, liked you back?” She asks, now looking Peter in the eyes. He just nods at her, smirking. Peter’s eyes flicker from hers to her lips as he leans in, crashing his lips against hers. Her whole body relaxes at the feeling on her lips on his, her hands wrapping around his neck to play with the ends of his hair. Peter finally pulls away, in need of air.
“I could definitely get use to the sight of you with swollen lips in my shirt.” He smirks at Y/N as she lightly wacks his arm. “And I could get use to stealing your clothes.”
Before the two of you even bein dating, he’s your best friend first.
The two of you passing notes in class and not really paying attention, much to Professor Xavier’s disapproval.
You being practically the only one who understands his need for flying, not judging him if he decides to skip class and take to the skies instead.
Lots and lots of trips around the school, him holding you in his arms as he flies around.
As soon as he realizes that he has a crush on you, nothing really changes much in your relationship, because quite honestly he doesn’t know how to respond to these feelings.
Most of the people in his life that loved him were disgusted by the fact that he was a mutant, but for someone who understands the struggle and perhaps loves him because of that seemed surreal to him.
Going to Bobby for advice, which Warren tries on you with no avail.
Professor Xavier noticing his struggles and giving him the piece of advice after all; to be himself.
As cliché as it sounded the Professor turned out to be right, the two of you getting together nearly a week later.
KURT WAGNER HEADCANONS:
One the most polite and respectful boys that you have ever dated.
Gentle kisses, whether it be on the lips, cheeks, neck or elsewhere.
He always asks permission for a kiss or anything else that he wants to do with you, almost as if he’s afraid of hurting you.
Sometimes he gets a bit insecure that someone like you is dating someone like him, when quite possibly you could have anyone in the school and yet you chose him.
Always mending his insecurities with small kisses on the forehead or cheek.
Absolutely loving his accent, which around the school makes him a bit insecure since everyone has American accents, but you reassuring him that its a big turn on.
The two of you often going on dates that involved watching after the children in the school, Kurt being the best father figure in the world.
Lots of awkward and sweaty handholding.
Sweet, chaste and gentle kisses.
Him being the best boyfriend anyone could ask for.
PETER MAXIMOFF HEADCANONS:
Never in your life had you met a more arrogant and self-centered person.
Thus, your first reaction was to utterly loathe the boy.
However, he was known not to take no for an answer, which was why every time the two of you were on the same mission or happened to be in the same class together, he would shamelessly flirt with you.
Multiple times you would tell him off, but you could swear he had to be either the most dense or stubborn person on the planet.
The two of you having a love/hate relationship with each other for months.
There was suddenly a shift in your relationship, as if perhaps being with him wouldn’t be that bad.
You, of course would never admit that; you would never want to fuel his ego even more.
Him becoming super jealous of every guy that you seemed to hang out with, but he would always deny it whenever you seemed to suggest that idea.
It was only after you were severely injured on a mission, did Peter finally make a move.
As soon as you were conscious he spewed out his well prepared speech, but noticing your perplexed look, kissed you instead.
The two of you getting scolded for making out in the med bay.
He grew up at a time when only thugs had tattoos, he has
warmed to yours however , as he sees how much you love them and understands
that they are an extension of you.
Eric
He’s not too keen on them, they tend to remind him of his
own unwilling tattoo and his time in the camps. He is slowly warming up to them
though, asking why you have each one.
Alex
He would love them, despite growing up at a time when they
were still frowned upon. He thought they were rebellious and sexy as hell.
Peter
He would add his own with marker pens, doodling on you while
you cuddled up together watching a film or listening to music.
Scott
He was curious about them, why do you have them? What do
they mean? Did it hurt?
Kurt
He grew up around people covered in tattoos at the circus,
so he wouldn’t be bothered by them. He would think of them as beautiful art. He
could look at them for hours, picking out all of the little details.
Jean
She’d like to run her fingers over them, especially after a
nightmare, it calmed you both down, knowing that it was just a dream and that
nothing had really changed.
Jubilee
She would adore them, if you have any black and grey work,
she would add colour with marker pens, and follow the lines with her fingers.
Ororo
Like Kurt she would see them as art, a beautiful
representation of you, forever inked into your skin.
Warren
He has tattoos on his face for crying out loud. Similar to
Alex he would find them sexy. He’d love seeing any tattoos that were usually
covered by your clothes, like they were just for you and him.

“Alright,” Peter announces as he waltzed into Y/N’s room. “Let’s see these lists, shall we?” he continues, flopping down onto their bed as he waves the list in front of their face.
“Alright,” they sigh dramatically, before snatching his list and attempting to scan her eyes over it. Sadly, before any of the names were read, the wrinkled page was taken back.
“You first,” he smiles cheekily.
“On three?” she confirms. “One, two, three!” The lists are exchanged and she hears the wrinkling of paper, only to look up and see his jaw hanging.
“YOU WANT KURT?!” Peter exclaims, both shock and disgust written all over his face. “I don’t think I’ll be able to look him in the eye anymore.”
They laugh as they finally take a look at his list. Scott, Betsy, Ororo. They continue down the list, before one name catches their eye. Warren.
“Wait, you want Warren too?” they ask cautiously before he looks up, eyebrows raised.
“What? He’s seems like a good fuck,” he explains before catching on to the last word. “Wait, too?” He quickly scans the list before returning her wide eyed look.
“I guess there’s only one way to settle this,” he starts, only to be interrupted by Y/N.
“First one to woo him wins?”
“You’re on.”
It starts out simple enough, with Peter offering to buy him a drink and Y/N asking if he could explain something to them, little gestures here and there, but then it got interesting.
A week before Valentine’s Day, Y/N leaves little notes on his door. Notes that say things like ‘have a good day!’ with little hearts. Peter buys him twelve dozen roses with money he borrowed from Y/N to one up them. They see this, and end up buying him all sorts of fancy chocolate. It continues on, until Valentine’s Morning in the breakfast hall.
“So, twelve dozen roses, huh?” Y/N asks, a dry edge to their normal voice.
“You bought him imported chocolate,” he sing-songs, and before either of them know it, they’re harshly whispering about ‘the bro-code’ and ‘principles of romance’. Unfortunately, they don’t see Warren standing at the doorway listening in and watching them with an amused face.
“So, you two were competing over me,” is how he enters the conversation, bringing it to an immediate halt. Both of them look like children who’d just been caught sneaking cookies after bed time, and Warren just looked like he was about to laugh.
“Don’t waste your time,” Scott says, with a roll of his eyes behind his ruby quartz glasses. “He’s dating Alex.”
“Alex?!” Peter and Y/N exclaim, confusion evident in their voice, before a blond head pops out from behind the corner.
“Did someone call me?” Alex asks, clueless about the whole ordeal as Warren walks towards him to give him a peck on the lips, turning around and smirking at Peter and Y/N. As he and Alex leave the mansion, he hears one last piece of the conversation.
“Does this mean that you’ll talk to Ororo for me?”
I took this to mean the XM:A version of all these characters. These can be expanded upon!
Kurt -You’re probably his first s/o, so he’s definitely nervous about how he acts around you -He probably goes to Scott and Peter for help, but TBH they’re not much better -After several failed attempts to ask you out, Jean steps in and is able to give him the confidence he needs to succeed -Obviously you say yes, cause he’s the sweetest thing who’s been pouring over you since he arrived at the academy. -has anyone ever whispered sweet nothings to you in German, because it is delightful and even if you don’t know what he’s saying, you know it’s the nicest thing a boy could say -Who needs a car to sneak out when you have Kurt? All of your dates off of school grounds start and end with a BAMF -He’ll turn almost purple every time you kiss, but always immediately ask for more
Warren -This boy is not used to being treated nicely, so he is in constant awe of how you are with him. -Kisses all over his face. Just do it. He deserves it. -He often tells you about how beautiful his wings were before they were metal, and you have to assure him that these are the most beautiful you can imagine. -he hasn’t really gotten used to his new wings yet, so he’s probably tiptoeing around using them at all. -He and Kurt have a pretty strained relationship, and you’ll probably have to act as the diplomatic bridge between them. -The first time you take him to the record store in the mall he almost goes into shock. There’s just so much music to chose from, and it’s all his choice! -If you also have a very obvious mutation, he’s very persistent in telling you that it’s beautiful, and that he doesn’t know how he got so lucky. -He is so lucky, and when he kisses you, you feel pretty darn lucky too.
Peter -After having his leg broken, it’s pretty much the first time in his life where he has no choice but to go slow, and he struggles to get used to it. -Luckily he has you to help him adjust, and give him a fair amount of teasing. -He calls you babe so often you’d think he’d forgotten your name. -You’ll definitely have to help him through his dilemma about his father, and he’s so grateful. -He tries to stay at a normal speed, but while kissing you he tends to speed up out of excitement. -You better like video games and rock music because a lot of that is coming your way. -People tend to find him very attractive, and if you get jealous he’ll probably make fun of you before kissing you. -He’s constantly making you mixtapes, and they become the soundtracks for your make out sessions.
Tries to hush you when you’re crying by placing kisses all over your face. Kurt isn’t sure at first, because being comforted and giving comfort is outside of his experience, but he tries for you.
Tracing your face with his fingers, and you tilting your head against his touch.
Feeling him wipe away the tears that fall from your eyes.
Will sing to you in German.
Knows not to push it when you don’t want to talk.
Will pull you into his arms regardless.
Because he knows cuddles make you feel better.
He knows you’ll talk when you’re ready.
Tucks the hair away from your face and whispers to you rather than using a full on voice to help calm and relax you.
Talks to you about fond memories he has from the circus.
Hearing his voice makes you feel better.
Will try to make dinner for you, to possibly cheer you up but doesn’t succeed.
The two of you order take-out instead and watch a chick-flick.
Ends with both of you crying. Your face nuzzled into his neck, arms around his neck as you tug him closer.
Probably buys you either chocolate or ice cream when you’re sad.
It’s become a habit.
And he knows what sort of chocolate and ice cream you like, so when he hears you’re upset, he’ll come home with one or the other, or more often than not, both.
Listens very intently when you decide to tell him what’s got you so upset/sad.
He knows he isn’t good at advice.
But he still tells you that he’s there to support you and that he loves you more than anything.
And that things will get better, you just gotta keep your head up.
Alex Summers:
Will most definitely bring you flowers when you’re upset/sad.
Usually daisies or roses.
Diving his hands into your hair when you press your face into his chest to cry. He simply stands there, holds you, and brushes out your hair until you’re calmed down enough for words.
Wipes your tears away with the most gentle touch he can muster, though, he’s still worried about the possibility of hurting you.
Stays really quiet during all of this, as he’s nervous that sound may make you even more upset.
Laying on the bed with him, curled up in his arms as you breath in his scent. It relaxes you, and gets you to stop crying.
Alex kissing your forehead, laying you down gently and telling you he’s going to draw a bath for you.
Rose petals in the bath.
Candles.
Maybe a glass of wine.
Alex washing your hair and your back as you tell him what’s got you so upset.
Alex nodding along to your words as he listens closely.
Alex giving you the best advice he can. because that’s just the sort of person he is.
He knows his advice isn’t the best, but he knows that you’ll listen to him and that means the most.
Peter Maximoff:
Is not very experienced with trying to comfort others, because he can barely comfort himself(Seeing as he uses sarcasm and biting words as a defense mechanism).
He tries his best though, because you mean the most to him and he doesn’t want to see you sad/upset.
Kisses the tears off your cheeks rather than wiping them with his hands.
He tries to make them as slow as possible.
Can feel his heart breaking as he watches you cry, because you have yet to tell him what’s got you so upset.
He coos at you quietly though, telling you things like “hey, it’s okay…” or “stop that, you’re gonna make me cry”.
Probably cracks a lot of jokes, trying to get you to smile. Most of them are directed at himself though.
“I told my dad he should embrace his mistakes” Pause “So he hugged me”.
Lets you eat as many of his snacks as you want, and chuckles when you devour half a box of twinkies by yourself.
Brushes your hair back and kisses your shoulder, asking quietly, “Wanna talk about it?”
Understands when you don’t want to.
Listens when you do.
Peter admitting out loud that he’s not going to give you advice because he doesn’t have any.(He’s actually just afraid of giving you any because he doesn’t want to fuck up).
You understand this and smile slightly at him.
He sighs, grasping your shoulders and pulling you towards him with a small, “You know I love you… I’m sorry I’m not much help. I’ll never be…”
“That’s all I needed to hear…” You whisper back to him, pressing a kiss against his chin.
Probably really excited. Like, little kid excited. He’s seen fireworks before, but not in the extent that you explained and that gets him really eager.
“AMERICAN CULTURE!”
Imagine sitting in front of the pond at Xavier’s, your feet dug into the grass below, and Kurt’s hand resting on your knee. It’s dark outside, and makes it hard to see his face, but you manage and give him a warm smile. The grass begins to tickle at your legs, and Kurt is humming a tune inside of his chest, trying to relax himself before the show starts.
Kurt giving you his jacket when he notices you shivering slightly. You return this gesture with a warm kiss to his lips.
Imagine the look in his face as the first firework is shot into the sky.
He looks like a little kid, and it warms your heart.
Pats your arm excitedly and says, “(NAME) LOOK OH! WOAH!”
Probably starts teleporting and bothers Peter, Scott, Jean and everyone to tell them about how cool the fireworks are.
Comes back to you and presses a kiss against your lips with a very soft, and gentle, “I really like fireworks.” and you just give him a cheesy smile and reply with, “Kissing you feels like a firework.”
Giving him a sparkler, and having him flip his lid because it’s so amazing and he just loves it and he ends up asking you for the entire box of sparklers(So he can use them any time he wants, which he does. He’s saving the last two for your birthday).
Alex Summers:
Is not particularly fond of fireworks. They trigger his PTSD, though he’s slowly learning ways to perhaps contain his outburst from the sound of fireworks.
This is something you completely understand and are supportive of. If, and when he’s triggered, you like to sing to him because the sound of your voice will bring him back to reality.
Though many people see the fireworks as celebration for freedom, which they are and Alex acknowledges that, he thinks that there should be an alternative, especially for those who have fought for that freedom, and do suffer from PTSD, and are sequentially triggered by the loud noises.
Tends to spend his Fourth of July, especially after 8 when the sun goes down, inside with you, maybe watching T.V, or snuggling, or taking a bath.
Really basking in the freedom that he has, and is thankful enough that he has you in his life to support him through things like this.
Peter Maximoff:
Let’s admit it here, he’s probably wearing leather pants that have the US flag printed on them(And he’s rocking them).
Really likes fireworks, and remembers going to see them with his mom and little sister before sticking around Xavier’s for a while.
Laying back in the grass in front of Xavier’s, his legs sprawled out and his head in your lap as you wait for the fireworks to start up. He gives you a cheeky grin, and shuts his eyes as your fingers run through his soft, silver hair.
The moment that the fireworks start though, Peter is wide-eyed looking at the sky.
Points out the shapes and colors to you, even though he knows you’re seeing everything he is. It’s a habit he has, for he did that with his little sister.
By the end of the show, he’s either A)Asleep with his head in your lap. or B)Kissing you and trying to entice you into a make-out session in the grass.
Lighting off your own fireworks.
Which he stole.
But, wouldn’t tell you that because you’d freak out.
You end up finding out any way and his excuse was, “WHY LIGHT OUR OWN MONEY ON FIRE?! THAT MAKES NO SENSE!” He’s shouting over the firework he just lit, giving you a cheeky grin.
This results in you threatening to shove a sparkler where the sun don’t shine.
Toad's Cave
