Shinsou hated his quirk. His
mother said hate was a strong word, but here it was necessary. Years of waiting
and looking forward to it manifesting had ended in gutting disappointment.

It was said that fate chose carefully
in those first four years of life, observing for as long as it needed to
develop the quirk that would suit your life the most and so the worry of being
destined for a villainous path was planted in his mind early on. Shinsou’s
quirk was villainous, custom-built for parasitic use with countless chances to
leech off someone else’s success and take advantage of others crossing his path
every day. Yet he resisted with no trouble, for he was the one who cowered the most
in front of his own ominous power.

Six months after his fourth
birthday the universe had handed him his fate. He was granted with a stereotype
and the resulting fear. No one would talk to him now.

Shinsou and Kaminari hcs

  • Every time Shinsou buys a soda, he aggressively shakes it and hands it to Denki. “Hey can you open this for me?” “Yea sure man.” He never learns.
  • “It’s in your head.” “Denki, get it out of your head!”
  • The two of them make bets all the time, over literally anything they can come up with. “Bro, I bet I can eat this whole banana faster than you.” “Bet?” “Peel and all.” “I’ll put down a ten.”
  • Denki always insists on going to eat lunch with Shinsou. Usually finding him eating lunch on his own, he proceeds to join him. Shinsou usually prefers it when it’s just the two of them, but once in a blue moon he agrees to eat with some other kids from 1-a/b.
  • Denki visits Shinsou so often that he ends up in his class on accident. “Denki aren’t you going to go to class.” “I am in class, idiot.”
  • Everytime Kaminari does something absurd Shinsou just smiles and looks into a non-existent camera.
  • “Wait you’re not in the hero course?”
  • Every time Denki coughs, Shinsou coughs afterwards… To assert dominance.
  • Denki invites Shinsou to his dorm a lot, and Shinsou HATES how Denki decorates his room, so he just starts redecorating everything.
  • “Uno.” “Shinsou, we’re playing Go Fish.”
  • Shinsou always loses their snapchat streak, and Kaminari is utterly pissed everytime it happens.
  • When Kaminari attempts to do anything stupid, he will always facetime Shinsou before he does it. Shinsou has Aizawa on speed dial for these sorts of events.
  • On the subject of Aizawa, Denki tries so hard to get on his good side through Shinsou. “I’m not using you, but I’m like totally using you.”
  • “I dunno Denki, I’m pretty sure you have ligma.” “What’s ligma?”
