After a few minutes, Shinsou explained that he actually had a soft spot for those little feline fluff balls. When he noted he liked that they were a bit more aloof and often loners, you began to understand why he liked them. Cats were a bit like him in a way, they could appear a bit standoffish or maybe even cold, but it just took a little attention to show they had kindness inside of them.
From then on you often teased him and his love for cats, but he had plenty to tease you with in return so he didnât really mind. You always did joke about how he was some sort of âCat Kingâ though, the two of you having run ins with one stray here or there almost every single time you went out together, but this was a whole new level.
Usually the two of you walked back to the dorms together, but heâd been doing some âextracurricularâ stuff with class 1-Aâs teacher that he for some reason couldnât tell you about, so sometimes youâd end up heading back to the dorms at different times. This time however you did end up seeing him, along with the practical train of cats following behind him.
You immediately burst out laughing when he looked up to see you, his face practically screaming âHelpâ as he kept trying to get them to wander off the closer he got to the dorms since he definitely couldnât have them all follow him in there. He really was the âCat Kingâ and this was a sight to see.
âDonât even ask.â He said almost immediately as you finally made your way up to him, but you just had to.
âHow!?â Was all you said, trying to wrap your mind around how the hell he even found so many cats in the area.
He went on to explain that he made the mistake of feeding one..then twoâŚand before he knew it this whole little pack was following him, meowing loudly in a cry for more snacks even though he had run out a long time ago.
Once you stopped laughing, you eventually decided to help him, slowly leading a few off into different directions until they had finally all left the two of you by yourselves standing outside of your dorms.
âLooks like thatâs the last of your children.â You muttered, watching as that final cat slowly disappeared off in the distance, snorting at his annoyed response.

Whenever he gets a gift from his s/o, he flips out honestly. He just is so appreciative that they thought to get him anything.Â
Gifts that will send him over the edge are: workout gear, anything Crimson Riot related, making him any type of meat dish or going to a meaty restaurantâŚand if his s/o is aware, a coupon redeemable anytime to help him bleach and dye his hair because have you TRIED doing that by yourself? Itâs a huge pain.Â
If he gets a gift thatâs like âi saw this and thought of you!â he just starts crying and saying how manly and awesome it was that you thought of him and went out of your way
He thinks heâs kind of forgettable and boring, so anything that reminds him that his s/o thinks heâs special and unique makes him feel really great honestly
For Valentines, he loves sappy shit. If heâs comfortable with his s/o then he has no shame when it comes to gushing over gifts like a handwritten love note or chocolates, a personalized date, etc.
He loves anything handmade. Something thatâs ONLY for him and there will never be another one just makes his boy so happyâŚbut then it sort of makes him feel like whatever he gets them wonât be good enough? Heâs not creative and he kind of feels bad that his gift is too boring

Overall he just goes over the top with excitement over gifts because it tells him his partner is thinking of him, knows him, and it just makes him feel good to know that heâs important and unique to someone

Shinsou is super chill, so anything he gets gifts he doesnât yell and scream or appear overly excited, which at first his s/o interprets as him not liking the gift
But internally heâs pretty happy, and his s/o figures this out through his small mannerisms, or seeing the gift on display in his room, etc.Â
Gifts that would make him happy are anything to do with cats without having an actual cat, since he doesnât think giving someone an unexpected pet is a responsible thing to do
Cat shaped cookies? Loves it. Cat pillows or stuffed animals? He snuggles that shit in his room when heâs alone. Would totally love volunteering at an animal shelter to help take care of some cats or help them get adopted
He also appreciates any type of gifts that would help him become a better Hero and possibly move into the Hero course. Heâs actively working on training his body, so weights would be appreciated
Overall heâs pretty reserved and doesnât necessarily want everyone else knowing about gifts he receives. Not out of shames, but thinks its no one elseâs business
Thinks Valentines is kind of cliche, but of course he still gets his partner a gift thatâs personal and thoughtful
His s/o knows him well, so they would wait until the end of the day or when heâs alone to give him his gift
He appreciates that he found someone that doesnât judge him based on his Quirk, and sees him as the hero he knows he can be
Shinsou has one of the best hero quirks, it’d be easy to use because what villain isn’t going to yell you their entire life story, boast about themselves, and fire back at everything you say?
