he came to a stop and you turned to look at Stiles through the window as he leaned over to roll it down, “hey, going to school?” he asked.
“how did you guess?” you asked, motioning to your back pack.
“want a ride?” he laughed.
“sure, thanks.”
he was so surprised you said yes he fumbled over himself to open the door for you since it was kind of wonky being open from the outside. you sat down and he just stared at you. you looked at him, then the road, “so are we trying to catch first period or?”
“oh, right.” Stiles laughed, turning the car back on, “sorry.”
Isaac can’t
stand it when you’re upset with him, especially when you won’t speak to him. It
doesn’t matter if you both start off angry. It doesn’t matter if it’s your
fault and you’re not speaking to him simply on principle. He doesn’t like the
silence that stretches between you. It gets under his skin in a way that
nothing else can until he’s coming back to you, desperate and eager for
reconciliation. And, of course, you can’t deny him when he gets like that. You
especially don’t mind the ‘reconciliation’ part.
Peter:
Peter
thinks it’s cute when you give him
the silent treatment. He laughs and asks if you’re giving him a “good, stern
not-talking-to”. You kind of want to smack him but it’s hard to stay mad at
someone that keeps smiling at you like that. Sigh. In the end, you almost
always cave even though you know Peter will be unbearably smug about it. And
the times you don’t? Well, Peter has other
ways to get you smiling again.
Derek:
Derek is insufferable
when you’re not talking to him. For someone who’s still a bit emotionally
constipated, he doesn’t handle it well when someone turns the tables on him.
Every time you turn around, he’s sighing heavily with displeasure. Honestly, he
basically turns into a sulky teenager. It’d be cute if it weren’t annoying. You
could end it yourself, but you’re just as stubborn as he is so you always hold
out until he’s the one coming to you. “I’m sorry. Now, will you just talk to
me?” He’ll ask moodily. You always turn to him, grin, and ask “What took you so
long?”
Malia:
The silent
treatment doesn’t really work on Malia. She doesn’t give you a single moment to
stew in your anger before she’s crowding into your space to suggest you work
things out some other way. It’s at times like this that you remember she was
stuck in her coyote form for years because this, the way she stalks towards you
and gazes at you hungrily, it’s primal. She’s always said that angry sex is
better than any other kind. With Malia, you’re inclined to agree.
Scott:
The silent
treatment never lasts for more than five minutes with Scott. He’s got that
kicked puppy look that tears you up inside and you know he knows it. He’s not
nearly as innocent as his adorable face would lead you to believe. You know he’s
playing you. But when that sunny smile of his replaces those pouty lips, you
can’t even bring yourself to care.
Kira:
The silent
treatment never last for more than three minutes with Kira. She’s got the same
innocent kind of face that Scott does but where he pretends to be hurt to win people
over with his puppy eyes, Kira is actually hurt when you won’t speak to her. The fact that you know it’s seriously causing her pain means that you can never
keep it up for long. When all is said and done, you’re the one that ends up
comforting her.
Lydia:
Lydia can
withstand the silent treatment for days. And
she gives as good as she gets. When she’s fed up with it, she’ll tell you to
stop being an idiot. You can’t fix anything if you don’t talk it out. And Lydia’s
the smartest person you know so you usually listen. But when it’s you getting
the silent treatment, nothing you say can get her to talk to you. Lydia only
does things on her own timetable. But you knew that when you fell in love with
her.
Allison:
You’re
not allowed to give Allison the silent treatment. She’ll keep talking at you
until you find yourself talking back. Allison has spent too much time in a
family where there wasn’t nearly enough talking and she knows that’s a big part
of what tore them apart. So, Allison insists on always getting everything out on
the table. No secrets, no hidden resentment, just truth. You’re never scared of
where your relationship with Allison will end up because she makes sure that
you’re keeping the lines of communication open. You can’t help but love someone
who refuses to let you fail.
Stiles:
Stiles
almost prefers the silent treatment to actually fighting. In a fight, you’re
just too good at frustrating him and making him trip over his words. Just
because you’re not speaking, doesn’t mean you’re not listening. Stiles uses
that to his advantage. He’ll try to make you see his side of the argument when
he’s convinced that you’re the one in the wrong. When he knows he is, he’ll
use the opportunity to apologize, slowly creeping closer, testing the waters to
see if you’re feeling forgiving. And let’s face it, when Stiles is offering
apology cuddles, you’re not ever going to turn him down.
Jackson:
Honestly,
Jackson resorts to using the silent treatment more than you do. When you’re
both angry, you have to wait for Jackson to cool off before even attempting to
speak to him again. But when he knows that you’re upset and it’s genuinely his
fault, Jackson turns into something resembling an actual human being. He’ll be
sweet and try to soothe you. It usually ends up working because it really shows you that hurting you actually hurts him too. You kind of love this
side of him that no one else gets to see. You know he’s a dick half the time but somehow, that didn’t stop
you from falling for him. And you think times like this might be why.
Danny:
Everyone
loves Danny. But that doesn’t make him perfect. In fact, his popularity is part
of the problem sometimes. Everyone wants a piece of Danny’s attention, leaving
little time for you. Danny knows he’s spent a little too much time away from
you when you won’t speak to him. He immediately feels guilty when this happens
and apologizes profusely. It throws him off because he isn’t used to being kept at arm’s length. However, you can never resist his charms for long, especially when
he promises you some quality time, just the two of you. Starting immediately.
It won’t always be enough, but for now, it’s a pretty good deal.
Liam:
Liam hates when you give him the silent
treatment. He huffs and acts like he’s going to return the favor. Crossing his
arms and turning away from you but he’s turning back thirty seconds later and
reaching for you before he thinks better of it. “Please, talk to me,” he pleads
with earnest eyes. It’s hard to stay mad at him when he’s looking at you like
that but you fight the urge to give in. “Baby, please.” That’s what always does it, that ‘baby’. You can’t stay
mad when he calls you that. You wonder how long it will take him to realize the
ace up his sleeve and you can only hope you’ll build up a resistance to it
before he does.
Erica:
Erica acts
unbothered when you give her the silent treatment. You aren’t really fooled
though because she stays close, always hovering nearby in case you decide you
aren’t mad at her anymore. Despite the confidence that came with becoming a
werewolf, Erica still has this underlying need to please, especially the people
she cares about. You try not to use that against her, even when you’re angry,
but you can’t deny that it feels nice to know that she’s waiting. You usually take
pity on her pretty quickly because making up always feels so much better than
not speaking to her.
Boyd:
You don’t
give Boyd the silent treatment. He’s so
much better at it than you. Why fight a losing battle?
Fixing the backwards cap on your head perfectly, so that it allowed the right amount of hair to fall from each side, you grinned at your reflection in the mirror. You picked up the main prop of your costume, that you believed completed it to no end, before skipping out your bedroom door; excitement evident on your face. You were going out trick or treating with your boyfriend, who was adamant on wearing couple costumes, but you really didn’t feel like walking around your neighborhood in Princess Leia’s infamous gold bikini in Return of the Jedi, so after hours of arguing, Stiles allowed you to pick your own costume.
The doorbell rang, and you grabbed the bucket of candy on the table that contained two awfully bloody candles that had wax dripping all over the table. You couldn’t help but get into the Halloween mood this year, hence the fake cobwebs lining your foyer much to your parent’s dismay. You opened the door, jumping at the sight in front of you with a small yelp. It wasn’t kids dressed as princesses and a frog, it was your boyfriend with fangs, fake hair stuck to his face and blood seeping his white ripped up shirt. You laughed at the sight of wolf ears attached to his mop of brown hair.
“How ironic,” you said, opening the door wider for him to enter.
“At least I put effort into my costume. What the hell are you meant to be?” His voice was muffled with the fangs still in, but you knew him well enough to understand what he was saying.
You grinned at him, pulling the baseball bat out from behind you and fixed your blue, unbuttoned checked shirt, “Look, I dressed up as you.” You shouted over the bang of the fireworks, lighting the sky up. Stiles jaw dropped, before the laughter was uncontrollable, he doubled over, patting his hands to his knees. You continued to giggle at him, waiting for him to say something.
“That… that is absolutely brilliant.” Stiles laughed, flicking away fake tears from the outer corner of his whiskey colored eyes. “I love you,” he giggled, pulling you closer and planting an unexpected kiss on your lips. You smiled into the kiss, but pulled away and grabbed the two open head plastic pumpkins by your door.
“Now, let’s go get some candy.” You squeaked, popping around him and slamming your door shut. You handed him a plastic basket to fill up with his candy, which he accepted but stood in his spot, pulling out his phone. He flicked open the camera, pointing it towards you. “What are you doing?” You groaned, but didn’t cover your face. It was scientifically proven that if you covered your face instead of smiling for a photo, you automatically look ugly.
“Just making sure there’s proof of an imposter if someone that looks strangely similar to me is witnessed to be anywhere near a murder scene.”
You rolled your eyes at his words, “It would be you at a murder scene, you scone.”
Sometimes.. quality is better than quantity. I felt like if I added more, I would have ruined it but do let me know using my ask box or by commenting on this. Thank you.

Scott: Scott’s lacrosse sweatshirt might actually be the comfiest thing in existence. It was fuzzy on the inside, and kept you toasty warm. Not only that, but it always somehow still smelt a little like Scott. When you would go and watch the boys lacrosse practice, you would always sneak down and steal it right off the bench. Not that Scott even minded, he was proud that a beautiful girl like you was wearing his sweatshirt.
Stiles: Stiles had this black hoodie, with a batman symbol right in the middle that you two would always fight over. Of course it was play fighting, you two usually arguing over who was the bigger batman fan. Lets just say, you usually won, wearing the hoodie with triumph. Stiles actually ended up buying you a matching one, just to stop the arguments, even though they were adorable in his eyes.
Derek: Derek’s famous leather jacket. Yup, that piece of clothing was your favorite thing. It was pretty big on you, which allowed you to snuggle into it even more. Derek would huff in annoyance when he would go looking for it, and find you snuggled up on HIS couch watching tv.
Isaac: All Beacon Hills lacrosse players had two jerseys. One for home games, and one for away games. Let’s just say, whenever Isaac had an away game, he would have to hunt you down to get his jersey back. You loved repping his number fourteen jersey, with Lahey in bold across your back. And even though he would act playfully annoyed when he would have to come all the way to your house to get it back, he truthfully loved how proud you were to wear his name.
Scott: “You know (y/n), you haven’t had a boyfriend in a while,” your annoying, snotty Aunt spoke, making your eyes grow wide and nearly choke on your water you were currently drinking. You sat in your living room with some family members, and your best friend Scott. Scott had been over when your Aunt and a few siblings decided to drop in, much to your dismay. You didn’t say anything as you watched your Aunt take a sip of her tea, your mother giving her sister a look of dissaproval. “I’m just saying, you must be doing something wrong. You need to have a man in your life,” she said, making you want to not only curl up into a ball of embarressment because she was saying this all in front of Scott, but also punch her in the face because of her arrogance. “Actually,” Scott piped up, slinging his arm over my shoulder, “I’m her boyfriend.” Good thing you weren’t taking another sip of water, because you’re pretty sure it would be all over the room right now. You watched as you Aunt’s face fell, and your mother suppress a laugh as she watched Scott smile cheekily in your Aunt’s direction. “Well,” you Aunt said flustered and a bit awkward, “very well then.”
Stiles: “What about this one?” You asked holding up a dress towards yourself, admiring the light green fabric. “(Y/N) honestly, you look beautiful in anything,” Stiles said a bit tired, making a small blush rise up your cheeks. You had dragged Stiles with you to get a dress for your cousins sweet 16, and after almost an hour, you could tell Stiles was getting pretty tired. “Okay, I’ll just get this one seeing as you look like you could take a nap right now,” you laughed, making Stiles smile and spring up from the seat he had taken on the ground, the two of you walking over to the checkout line. As you approached the counter, a boy took the dress from you, scanning it and swiftly putting it in a bag. “I’ll just add the employee discount to that for you,” he smiled as you handed him over the amount of money. “Uh, thanks,” you said thankfully as Stiles gave the guy a weird look. “Anything for a beautiful girl like you,” he said as you immediately felt an arm reach its way around your waist. Stiles tugged you closer to him, eyeing the cashier as you picked up the bag from the counter. “Uh, sorry man, didn’t know you were her boyfriend,” the boy said nervously, making you shake your head. “Oh no, he’s not-” you started, but got cut off by Stiles. “Mhm buddy, keep your eyes off,” Stiles said trying to act tough, leading you away from the cashier before you could say another word.
Isaac: “Now, choose your partner carefully, because you will not only be working with this person for the next two months, but it will directly account for forty percent of your grade in this class. And with those wise words of advice, go!” The teacher said, making everyone in the class spring up from their seats and run to the person they wanted as their partner. You looked over at your only friend in the class, Isaac, who already had a smile on his face as he sat down next to you. “Partners?” He asked, but just as you were about to respond, a boy walked up to you. You knew he was in a few of your classes, but you had never really talked to him. “Hey (y/n), want to be partners?” He asked cockily, already pulling up a seat before you had even responded. “So I can’t really work on this project all that much because of lacrosse practice, but I’ll make the cover page if you want?” He asked as you raised your eyebrows. Like hell you were doing all this project by yourself. “I don’t really know what you think, but I think (y/n) would rather work with her boyfriend, but that’s just my opinion,” Isaac stated rather annoyed, as you couldn’t help but let out a slight chuckle at the guys reaction. It was silent for a few moments while the boy stared at Isaac. “Oh, um yeah, of course,” he mumbled, standing up and walking away defeated as you looked at Isaac, both of you bursting into laughter.
Liam: “Liam, I need you to do me a favor,” you asked as the both of you stood in the hallway. “And what would that be?” He asked as he shoved a random textbook into his locker. You closed your locker and leaned against it as you nervously bit your lip. “Pretend to be my boyfriend,” you spit out before you had even realized what was happening. You hand flew to your mouth as your eyes bulged out of your head as he closed his locker and looked at you. “Excuse me?” He asked confused. “Look I-” You began to explain before a boy walked up, making you groan. “Why hello (y/n), looking lovely today,” the boy said as you put a fake smile on your face. You were pretty new to Beacon Hills, and this one boy has been bugging you since you got here. “So have you reconsidered my offer for a date yet?” He asked with eyebrows raised as you took a deep breath to remain calm. “Not entirely,” you said honestly as Liam looked between the two of you, jaw clenched together. “Well like I’ve said before, the offer still stands, and I would love to take you out,” he said. This kid would just not give up. Liam must have understood what was happening, because the next thing you knew, his arm was wrapped around your waist, and his lips briefly met yours. You tried not to look too shocked as Liam turned to face the boy. “Sorry, she’s taken,” he said with a big smile on his face.
A/N: Requests are open! For preferences, specify scenario and if you want specific guys in it, if not, I will just do a few random ones. For imagines, specify which guy and scenario(:
Scott: When Scott hugs you, his hands always wrap around your waist snuggly, and he smiles right at you. While your in his arms, he places small kisses on your forehead, along with the occasional one or two on your dimples. Being close to you makes him the happiest person in the world, and he makes it a point to make sure you know it.
Stiles: Stiles loves hugging you, and makes it a priority to do it very often. He likes to pick you up and spin you around while he hugs you, making you laugh every time. Your laugh is like music to Stiles’ ears, and the fact that he is the reason for that music makes him feel like the luckiest man in the world.
Derek: Derek really was’t one for PDA, but when it was just the two of you, he was a total mush. He would cuddle with you on the couch, as you sat on his lap hugging his torso. He’d stroke your hair as you trace shapes on his chest, and he was grateful to have one person in his life that he knew would never leave him.
Isaac: Isaac likes being as close to you as possible, so when he hugs you, he goes all out. His hands are wrapped tightly around your waist, and due to the height difference, his head is snuggled into your hair. Your head would be tucked away in his shoulder as he would whisper loving words right into your ear.
