 Tatara: He felt relief wash over him upon realising his s/o was safe. He was sure that they had been killed, or even worse. He gently placed his hands on his s/o’s shoulders, demanding to know where they had been. He was concerned when his they didn’t respond. That’s when noticed the baby boy in their arms, with the blond hair and the curiously familiar ruby eyes.

“[name], what is… That?” He asked, noting that his had tears welling in their eyes. And Tatara wasn’t stupid. He understood perfectly.

“He’s mine, isn’t he? That’s why you left.” He stated softly, taking the child from his partner’s arms as they nodded. Holding the child in one arm, he placed the other around his s/o’s shoulders and sighed. “You should have told me.”

Noro: Though he would be relieved to find his partner safe, he would remain silent, satisfied that they were with him again, and he could continue to protect them. After several moments of silence, his s/o noted Noro’s questioning glance at the infant with dark red hair in their arms. “Noro, this is your daughter.” They said calmly, watching his reaction closely. He nodded in understanding, his gaze lingering on the young girl. Now, it seemed, he had two people to protect.

Ayato: Ayato’s first response was anger – at his s/o for leaving him all alone, and at himself for letting them leave his sight, and protection. “Where the hell have you been, you idiot?” He demanded, bringing his s/o into a hug. “Ayato, careful…” His partner warned, revealing a small baby wrapped in blankets huddled against their chest. The child opened their eyes – one dark blue and one red – and peered at him with tired, weary eyes. It was only then that he realised that the child carried his own scent. “[name], why the hell didn’t you…” He stopped himself mid-sentence. “Never mind, come on. Let’s go somewhere else. It’s too cold out here.”

Shiro!Kaneki: He noticed the scent of another half ghoul before anything else. That was when he noticed his s/o standing before him, an infant with big, silver eyes wrapped protectively in their arms. Kaneki, being as smart as he was, immediately connected the pieces, and gently brought his s/o into his arms. “I wish you’d have told me. You shouldn’t have gone through this alone.” He said softly.
