- Isaac’s least favorite part about being a werewolf though is that his hickies don’t last. The bruises fade within hours leaving him to pout when he sees his skin is once again pale and flawless.
Buuuut that also gives you the excuse to frequently drag him off the redo your artwork, that makes him less pouty. It also helps that Stiles knows that his hickies heal quickly and is disgusted making comments “Can’t you stop for one day? I know that wasn’t there earlier, and its different from before” - Isaac always seemed to ‘forget’ to bring a scarf on cold days because he knew you would lend him yours, a habit from helping him hide bruises that never stopped even though he told you he can’t get sick anymore.
You don’t care. And of course, he has the old scarves you’ve given him, which he always has when you aren’t around, but he much prefers you giving him yours right then because it smells like you, not just your perfume or whatever you use but it smells like you.
Something that all the other wolves and creatures will smell too, he loves this the most because it let’s everyone else around know that he’s yours - Isaac was never very vocal before, mainly whimpers and gasps, (especially when you suck on his neck) but now he no longer holds back, loud whines, letting you know just how much he appreciates you attention and frustrated moans and growls as his head falls back against the bed when you tease him too much for his liking
- Think of the little whine Isaac lets slip when you nibble on his ear, and his eyes fluttering shut, all his senses on fire amplifying every little touch

Isaac had been scared to tell you about him being a werewolf because he thought you would be afraid of him, he was a terrifying monster now.
When he told you, and showed you for proof that he was a wolf he said he would understand ‘if you don’t want a monster like me…’ looking down at the floor sadly. You raise an eyebrow at him and wrap your arms around his neck (on tip toes cause he’s a damn tree)
As your arms go around his neck, pulling yourself close against his chest he looks up from the ground, tears in his eyes almost spilling. He can’t lose you, you’re all he’s ever had, ever needed. All’s he’s ever wanted.
You shake your head, using one hand to wipe an escaping tear from his cheek “What are you talking about? there’s no monster here. Only a really big puppy dog, my puppy.” your lips turn up in a small smile at the end seeing his eye light up at your words. You pull him down to meet you in a loving kiss, tangling your fingers in his hair.
His lips chase yours as you start to pull away. He lets out a whine at the loss of your lips making you chuckle before opening his eyes.
Alternately ending:
“Plus,” you push him back gently, making him back up “you’re not getting rid of me that easily, we have a lot of catching up to do, my little wolf” you grin, pushing him again so he falls back against your bed and crawl up so you hover above him. You smile looking down on him, he hasn’t really changed. you know that seeing him beneath you with the same unbelieving love struck expression as always “Now, more energy you said, hmm?” (fully ignoring that he may wolf out here)

It was past late, on a chilly fall Wednesday night when you heard your window slowly slide open, wind blowing in as the figure entered your room, attempting to close it quietly but only for it to make a loud thump as it closed. A quiet curse told to it.
You turned over in bed, your brain still in a fog from sleeping and unhappy from being woken up.
“You know, if I wasn’t sure it was you coming in my window I’d be trying to beat you with my lamp right about now.” you complained, towards the window.
He rolled his eyes in the dark, not that you could see him, but you knew. “You did try and beat me with your lamp. The first 9 times even after I’d told you it’d be me coming in” he complained back in a more whiny tone
You opened your eyes to look in his direction, only seeing darkness “Not true.” you pointed towards him “I tried to beat you with a lamp 8 times, the ninth time I had borrowed Stiles bat.”
Liam tripped while noisily slipping off his shoes “You borrowed a bat just so you could attack me better??” he said while throwing his hands up to make a point then walking over to your bed
Pushing the covers back to allow him in you stuck your tongue out at him “Not specifically to attack you, to attack someone who might not have been you who was crawling through my window at 2 in the morning” you reasoned
Groaning, Liam flopped into bed next to you, getting comfortable on ‘his’ pillow “I came over 8 nights in a row, through your window, around the same time, I say I’ll probably be back again, through the window,” he emphasized, pulling the blankets up around you both “who else were you expecting?”
You lay your head on his chest, one arm resting over his waist trying to get comfortable.
“Most times when something comes through your window at night it’s coming to kill you and has glowing red eyes, and just because the thing coming through your window’s eyes aren’t red doesn’t mean it’s not there to kill you still.” you reasoned “Plus, it’s Beacon Hills. Soon to be renamed Beacon Kills.” you mumble, squeezing his bicep in attempt to make it a comfier headrest
Liam sighed, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you to lay almost on top of him, “I come over here to cuddle because you calm me down so I don’t werewolf-out, and hitting me with various objects in the dark is not exactly a good calming technique.”
You scoffed, smacking his chest lightly “It’s practice, for making sure you don’t ‘werewolf-out’ under stress. Plus, you love me too much to hurt me” you grinned slightly, tangling your legs with his.
His eyes shined softly in the dark, you could just see the gold flecks in the shallow moonlight. He couldn’t hold back his smile at you and kissed your nose “Yeah, yeah, I do” he rolled his eyes more playfully this time before looking at you like a unhappy puppy “Now can we go to sleep (Y/n)? I’m exhausted” he groaned exaggeratedly letting his head flop back against the pillow.
“You’re the only reason either of us are up!”

Warnings?: mentions of Isaac’s dad being abusive
Isaac had been through a lot, you knew that all too well and wanted to help him out of it, but for years he always denied. Saying it was alright.
He would say he was ok, and not to worry, kissing your cheek and cuddling up to you trying to savor all your time together before he would have to run home so he didn’t anger his father any more than usual.
You befriended Isaac years ago, he was so shy and quiet, soft spoken and tried not to call any attention to himself. But unlike everyone else, who just walking by and ignored him, you noticed him.
For awhile he tried to only give you quick and short answers when you spoke to him, but you wouldn’t leave. You were going to be this boy’s friend whether he liked it or not.
He did like it, quite a lot. He never really had a friend before, he might talk to a few people occasionally, ask them questions on an assignment, but he had not one he would actually call his ‘friend’. Until you came along that is.
At first he thought you were only there to bully him, that seemed to be the only reason people would approach him. Isaac couldn’t help but blush as you walked towards him though, hoping you weren’t here to confront him for stealing small glances at you in class.
Surprisingly, to him, you weren’t. You offered him some cookies you had brought, a bright smile on your face as you handed him the snack.
He tried not accepting it, awkwardly hoping (yet not at the same time) that you would leave him alone, he was better off alone. (he ended up really loving the cookies you gave him)
The less distractions, the better he would do on school. And the better he did, the less pain he received later.
He couldn’t have a friend anyway, Isaac knew his father would be furious.
You stuck by his side though, always coming up to him and starting a (one sided) conversation everyday until he finally accepted that you were his friend and you weren’t going anywhere.
You couldn’t help but notice how he would give more small smiles after you became his friend. Something you were quite proud of. Because if anyone looked like they needed some happiness, it was Isaac Lahey. (not that you were stalking or watching him at all seeing that his poor cute face was always in a frown or sad look, no nothing like that)
Isaac was so different once you became friends, he would smile and talk with you about anything that came to mind, the quiet, shy boy you saw in the back of the classrooms was such a kind and happy soul once you squeezed your way through his shell.
You figured out quickly that his father abused him, he would jump at loud noises, shake when a teacher yelled his name to make him pay attention, and the new bruises that appeared almost daily. You wanted to cry, and you did, but he insisted he was ok.
One morning while you were on your way to school, taking the slightly longer route where you would meet Isaac halfway to walk together, he jogged up next to you, a happy smile on his face which seemed brighter than the sun.
As soon as he would close enough you jumped up, wrapping your arms around him in a greeting hug, smiling back just as happily.
You noticed large scratches along Isaacs neck, along with a line of bruising that went all the way around. Your smile quickly faded, turning into a concerned frown. Isaac stopped walking when he noticed you stop. “What’s wrong (Y/n?)” he asked before noticing where your gaze was directed. He coughed, tugging the collar of his jacket up in a failed attempt to hide it.
“It’s nothing (Y/n), you don’t need to worry. C’mon, we gotta get to class” his arm going around your shoulder, pressing against you lightly in hope you would just forget it about the bruise and keep walking.
You huffed, shaking your head. Eyes burning with hatred, it scared Isaac a little to be honest, even though he knew it wasn’t directed at him. (You’d shared your thoughts on his father before but tried not speaking about him for Isaac’s sake.)
Luckily though, with the morning being so chilly you had worn your favorite scarf today.
Isaac lifted an eyebrow as you unwound the scarf from your neck, you stepped in front of him so your shoes were touching and reached up, wrapping the dark blue scarf around him. Isaac’s eyes widened at your actions, it was your favorite scarf, the one you always wore once the weather got cold.
The soft material making him flinch for a second as it made contact with his neck.
“You can’t go walking around like that, dummy” you mumbled, pressing yourself against his side before continuing walking towards the school. Isaac laughed silently, wrapping his arm around your shoulders, his cheeks now a rosy color for reasons more than just the cool air.
“Sorry (Y/n), didn’t know what I was thinking.” he said quietly, hugging you to him slightly as you walking.
He smiled to himself as he could smell the familiar comforting scent that always seemed to surround you.

You sighed contently, your fingers twisting in Isaac’s soft curls while his head rested on your chest.
Isaac hummed, unconsciously leaning into your touch, a soft smile on his face as he caressed your arm while you played with his hair.
“Isaac?” you asked, only receiving a small noise of acknowledgement from him
Trailing your hand down from his hair, fingers lightly skimming along his cheek as they went, you dropped your hand to his collarbones and tugged on the fabric that hung loosely around his neck “You know, you don’t have to wear that all the time, right? it’s not even that cold out.”
Finally opening his eyes, Isaac gazed up at you lazily, a content look on his face “I know, but I want to,” he lifted his head, nuzzling his nose against your cheek “It’s from you and I love it” he kissed the tip of your nose before laying back down.
“You’re so cheesy” you mutter in a quiet, love filled tone. Maneuvering yourself on the couch carefully so neither of you fell off, to press your lips to his in a kiss gently. You don’t know how he did it, but Isaac always had the softest pinkest lips.
The corners of his lips turning up slightly, Isaac quickly reciprocated the affection, lifting his head to kiss you easier.
You pulled away, much to Isaac’s complaints. You smiled at him laying underneath you, a small pout on his face because your kiss was so short, you rolled your eyes at his childishness.
Isaac only smiled wider at you, before noticing the clock that was placed on the wall behind you, a quick flash of panic crossed his face noticing the time.
You knew what made his smile fade in an instant, your time was always cut short by him having to leave so early. As far as anyone else knew, Isaac was studying at the library, him having to be home before 7 to be at the graveyard for work.
You sighed, your happiness deflating and the comforting only moments ago atmosphere turning cold as you knew he would be leaving.
You dropped your head to rest your face in the crook of his neck, breathing in before leaving a kiss on his shoulder
“I don’t want you to go, I want you to stay here with me” you mumbled, kissing a trail up to his ear.
“And I don’t want to leave you.” he said sadly, pressing a kiss into your hair. He didn’t want to go, he never wanted to leave you, but he had to for now “I love you (Y/n), but I have to go for now” he said quietly, pressing a kiss to your temple before moving you off him and standing up from the couch.
You huffed, leaning back on your elbows to watch him gather his things, wishing there was some way to make him stay here with you instead. “I love you too Isaac, and I know.”
he slung his backpack over his shoulder, giving you a sad smile before turning to leave before you called back “But Lahey, you’d better get your cute butt over here and at least give me a proper kiss goodbye!” you said whilst smirking slightly.
His head perked up, he couldn’t stay, but that was certainly something he could do.

The day Derek approached him with his offer Isaac didn’t hesitate to tell you about it, he didn’t say how exactly this shady sounding guy would help him, and you didn’t trust him. The guy was suspected for murder not that long ago and you didn’t want anyone dangerous around your sweet Isaac.
The night of the Kanima attack, Isaac ran to your house without stopping as soon as it happened. He was terrified, the glass was too much so he fled, the attack was so quick but he hid, he was panicking and didn’t know what to do. He was terrified and he ran to the one place he was safe, you.
It was pouring rain when you heard the frantic knocks at your door, you were alone since your parent(s) were still at work and Isaac wasn’t supposed to be free tonight so you cautiously went to check who was there.
Looking through the peephole you saw Isaac, drenched to the bone standing in the rain knocking.
You gasped, yanking the door open and pulling him inside, he was dripping wet and looked to terrified, as soon as you yanked him into the house you pulled him into a tight hug, his arms automatically wrapping around you as he choked out a sob.
You held him tightly, trying to soothe him, at least enough for him to tell you what happened and who you were going to destroy (thought you had an idea)
“It’s ok now baby, I’m here. Nothing will hurt you anymore” you shushed, rubbing his back gently. He only whimpered and hugged you tighter.

A lot of things about Isaac changed once he became a wolf, something you learned about just after it happened as he could never keep a secret from you, he became stronger, much more muscular, more confident, pretty damn cocky at times, really.
But he never changed around you, he was still your sweet and loving Isaac no matter what.
Except now there were no time limits to your cuddles and kisses, no having to leave in the middle of anything. Something you and Isaac were both more than happy to take advantage of.
You stood in Derek’s loft, Isaac’s arms wrapped around you from behind as you listened to the latest troubles in Beacon hills, pack meetings were always the same. Different monster, same problems.
Isaac squeezed you gently in a hug, his chin resting on your shoulder while he sat in a chair behind you, the dark scarf around his neck tickling your cheek.
Turning in Isaac’s hold to face him, looking into his eyes you smiled, kissing him lightly and ignoring the exaggeratingly gagging Stiles behind you and pulling him to hug you, happy to press yourself against his warmth.
“Isaac, you’re a walking furnace now,” you say, leaning back slightly with your arms resting on his shoulders “I don’t even think you can get sick, its 40 degrees out, and you’re still wearing that stupid scarf”
“See? she thinks the scarf is stupid too!” Stiles yelled from behind you, “I told you that thing was ridiculous I told him! He’ll probably be wearing that thing in the middle of summer and get heatstroke and we’ll be stuck with a passed out werewolf in the middle of a battle or something.” he continued, pointing at Isaac and making you chuckle, a low growl emit from Isaac’s throat. He pulled you flush against him in a hug, resting in chin on your shoulder to have a better angle for glaring at Stiles
Hearing the growl and from his spot easily seeing Isaac’s eyes flash golden Stiles jumped behind Scott to use him as a human-er werewolf shield.
“It’s my scarf, a gift from my (Y/n) and I’ll wear it as much as I want”
you turned just enough to see Stiles peek his head out from behind Scott “And as much as you want is 24/7 apparently. Do you ever take that thing off? do you wash it? gross man that thing must reek.” he made a disgusted face, making you laugh.
Isaac though, wasn’t nearly as amused, still glaring at Stiles.
“Oh hush ya big werepuppy” you twisted your fingers in his soft curls, Isaac instinctively leaning into your touch and ceasing his growls
you shook you head at him, he was ridiculous with that dang scarf, there was no question there, but you sure love your foolish werewolf.
Wtf this was supposed to be funny origins about the scarf

I found whatever this is and couldn’t pass it up

“Isaac, come here a sec will ya?” you called towards the kitchen while eyeing your phone carefully
“Yea, (Y/n)?” Isaac says with a smile, coming out of the kitchen. His favorite sweater and precious scarf you gave him (he’s insisted on wearing it a lot more the necessary, he was so thrilled when you gave him it) making him look extra cozy
“Come watch this video for a minute” you say, pressing play and handing him your phone.
Isaac’s eyes widen as soon as he sees the all too familiar video of him, playing.
You tap the screen showing your boyfriend posing on marble, wearing a fancy golden cape and well, not a whole lot else “Care to explain what that is, sweetie?”
Isaac swallows, avoiding all eye contact with you “Um, well uh that’s just” he tries but coming up with no good excuses
You take your phone back, putting it in your pocket
“So what Isaac, did you get sick of Beacon hills and just go ‘F these supernatural problems. I’m gonna be a god’ and that’s where you’ve been off to the 8 last months?”
Isaac scratched the back of his neck “Actually that’s in a play, and I was their best Apollo so- this isn’t helping at all is it?” he said giving you a guilty puppy dog look.
You shook your head “Nope, not at all.”
“I love you?” he tries with a weak smile while holding his arms out for a hug
“Oh I know you do, and you’re definitely going to love me when I show this to Stiles and the rest of the pack” you say and quickly grab your jacket, running out the door.
After taking a moment to register what you said “(Y/n)! no wait up!” Isaac yells chasing after you but sees you’ve already drove off towards Derek’s loft.
Isaac sinks down on the doorstep putting his head in his hands “I’m going to die.”
