AU in which 10k gets to see his baby for the first time
Babies come inconveniently. That’s what all the parent books say. It’s never a good time, you’ll never be ready, etc, etc.
But right now is really an inconvenient time.
You and Addy are trapped in the basement of a warehouse, Z’s banging on the door, the group above likely oblivious as they search for supplies.
“Addy, I don’t think I can do this.” You say, head tipped back against the wall. You brush the sweaty hair off your face, and dig your fingers into the concrete floor, searching for something to grab onto, and coming up empty.
“You can. You can, Y/N. You can do this.” She says, grabbing onto your knees. Tears well in your eyes, and you nod, sucking in a shaky breath.
“You have to push. Can you do that for me?” She asks. Your lips part, and she reaches forward, taking your hand and squeezing it once, before letting go.
“Now, Y/N.” She says. You clench your teeth, eyes clamped shut, and do as she says.
