So @alic3-in-peace-land and I have been working on a story. We just finished chapter one and I would like everyone’s input on it before we start chapter two… This story includes 2 other amazing tumblrs as characters besides Alicia and I.

Fear The Vaccine

Chapter 1

It was just a normal day for Alexis and her friends, The 4 of them were sitting in their shared apartment playing card games with the news on in the background as a sense of sound so the place wasn’t as quiet. Oh you wanna know who Alexis and her 3 other friends are, well their names are Alicia, Heatha, and Shannon. The four of them became friends on a website called Tumblr and have been best friends ever since.

So now that we know what their names are. Shall we continue on?… As I was saying it was a pretty normal day for the four girls who were playing some card games as well as searching their respected tumblr accounts. “You guys wanna watch something other than the news?” Alexis asked looking up from her laptop and over to her friends who were all scattered around the tiny living room of their shared apartment. “Sure but what do we wanna watch?” Heatha asked looking over to Alexis then to the other girls to see if they have any input on what they should all ’watch’, cause we all know that nobody watches the TV when they have a laptop in front of them. “We could re-watch one of our many zombie movies.” Shannon said loudly not bothering to look up from her laptop as she was in the middle of creating icons and gifs for her blog.

Alexis pondered for a moment before looking to the girls “Is that okay with you ladies?” she asked moving her laptop to the side and getting off the floor to pick a Zombie movie to put in. “Yea that sounds good we should watch the funny one, I can’t remember what it’s called but one of the lines is go down to the pub and wait for this to blow over” Alicia said looking up with a smile on her face. “Shaun Of The Dead.” Heatha said letting out a small laugh “It’s been awhile since we watched that one.”

Setting the movie up Alexis sat back down in her original spot and picked her laptop back up and sat it in her lap waiting for the movie to start, she asked the girls as the movie trailers began to play “ does anyone want something to drink, eat?” At that question all the girls perked up a bit. “ popcorn and soda” the three of them said together with a laugh. Alexis let out a small laugh as she moved her laptop again and got from her spot to go make popcorn and grab a few sodas from the fridge.

After a few short minutes the popcorn was done cooking so Alexis put it into a big bowl and added some extra butter on top of it plus some salt. She then grabbed a few cans of soda from the fridge and made her way back into the living room. Setting the things down on the table she earned a chorus of Thank you from the girls as she sat back down and grabbed her laptop again. As the movie began to play Shannon shut the light off as she was the closest one to the light switch. “thanks Shannon” Alicia said keeping her eyes locked on the movie only to have her gaze flicker to her laptop every once and awhile.

As the movie played and the sounds from the movie played in the background heatha being the only one watching started thinking about home, about how she lived with her mom and grandparents on their fruit farm, hanging with her uncle and helping him with the chickens, getting eggs and waiting to cook them later. She missed home. ‘Maybe I should go and visit my mother’ she thought.

Once the movie finished Alexis looked around at her group of friend “y’all wanna call it a night?” She asked yawning towards the end of her sentence. All the girls started to nod their heads each of the shutting their respected laptops for the night and getting up from the couch. “sounds like a good Idea Lex.” Heatha said grabbing a few empty soda cans and bringing them to the kitchens trash can. After a few short minutes all four of the girls had the living room cleaned up and were heading to their separate rooms for the night.

Once all four girls were in their separate rooms, they each started to get ready for bed. Alexis quickly got changed into her pajamas and climbed into her soft bed. Heatha quickly brushed her teeth and changed into her night clothes as well before she climbed into her bed grabbing her phone to send a quick text to her mother about how she missed her. Alicia was the first one to pass out in her bed. All she did was pull her pants off and climbed under her blankets exhausted from the day of movie watching and tumblr. Shannon was the last one to fall asleep, she laid in her her bed texting her parents like she does every night before she falls to sleep. After a few moments the 3 girls who were still awake turned their lights off and fell asleep quickly having no idea on what is happening outside there home right now.
