can you do a thomas x reader where thomas comes up in the box and right as the reader sees him, she gets so excited and super flirty and even exclaims,“ finally! a cute one!” (jokingly or not lol) and Thomas is always super flustered cause he never knows if shes being serious or not until she admits that she likes him after he gets stuck in the maze. it would be different to see a super flirty, confident reader with a blushy thomas

As you stared down at the new Greenie, promptly terrified as he cowered in the corner. You couldn’t help yourself. The opportunity was practically presenting itself.
So, before Gally went and scared the boy even more, you stepped forward yourself. Making sure the newbie was looking at you as you smirked. “Finally!” You exclaimed, throwing your hands up in the air. “A cute one!”
Everybody visibly groaned, and you noticed that even the newbie’s cheeks grew slightly red. Grinning to yourself, you held Gally back, jumping into the box yourself. Holding out your hand, you met the boy’s eyes. “Welcome to the Glade, Greenie!”
–
Later on that night, you placed yourself directly next to the newbie, who’d been sitting with Newt before, still wide eyed and grinning. You noticed, as you took a seat, the familiar sight of Gally’s concoction in Thomas’s hand.
“Ooh!” You cheered, leaning over to meet the Greenie’s eyes. “Newt let you try the good stuff, huh?”
“Leave the poor boy alone, Y/N.” Newt groaned, shaking his head with a soft smile. “He’s practically already in love with you.”
The Greenie automatically had been been blushing just from your comment earlier. But now, as Newt’s word sunk in, he felt himself growing more embarrassed by the moment.
You only laughed at Newt’s words off, shrugging. “Damn right, he should be.” You took swig from your own drink, before pausing, glancing over at the Newbie who refused to meet your eyes. Leaning forward, you smirked. “Besides,” you begun, “I wasn’t kidding before. You really are cute.”
–
“Thomas!” The newbie shouted, causing everyone to pause. “I remember my name! It’s Thomas!”
There was a pause before anyone said anything, and of course you had to be the first one. “Thomas,” you repeated, stepping forward with a kind smile. Thomas spun at the sound of your voice, meeting your gaze. “Handsome name for a handsome boy.”
“You never said that to any of us, Y/N.” One boy whined from the back of the crowd.
Not tearing your eyes off Thomas, who, once again, was promptly red in the face, you shrugged. “Never needed to, until now.”
–
“Hit you pretty hard, huh?”
Thomas paused, glancing over at you as you slowly made your way over to him. Without caring, you leaned up on your tipi-toes, letting your hand touch the bleeding wound on Thomas’s head. You frowned at the sight of it, worried that Ben had done some serious damage.
“Uh,” Thomas mumbled, “n-no. I’m okay. It’s fine, really.” He grabbed your wrist softly, pulling it down to smile at you.
You shook your head with a sigh, but nonetheless smiled back at him. “There’s no need to act brave in front of me, Thomas. I think that’s plenty obvious.” You then smirked, “besides, you’re still as cute as ever.”
–
“Heard you wanna be a runner.”
Glancing up at you, Thomas’s eyes widened at the sight of you, leaning against a post next to his hammock. You didn’t let his shock faze you, and instead you continued to smile down at the boy. “Newt told me,” you shrugged.
Thomas frowned at that; “did he also tell you the part where he said it’d never happen?”
You shrugged, pushing yourself off to stand in front of Thomas. “I don’t know about that,” biting your lip, you raised your hand, softly brushing back the short bangs on Thomas’s forehead. You didn’t miss the way his breath paused, and his entire body tensed.
Grinning up at him, you said without hesitation; “I think you’d make a great runner.”
–
“Told you, I was right.” You commented, patching up the few wounds Thomas had gathered from spending an entire night in the maze. You were trying to be ask quick as possible, so you could let the boy rest. “Scared me half to death though.”
Thomas didn’t say anything at first, seemingly just stared at you, for once, not blushing. You found you missed the pretty blush as you worked on cleaning up his wounds.
“Why are you always so nice to me?” Thomas suddenly asked, making you pause.
“What do you mean, Tommy?”
“I-I well, um,…” You laughed at the boys flustered appearance, raising a brow as he continued to stutter, trying to find his words. “You’re always, well, you know….”
“Flirty?” You finished, smirking. Thomas nodded. “It’s cause I like you,” you shrugged, continuing on with your work. “I thought that was obvious.”
Thomas’s eyes widened. “You… You mean, you…?”
“Yes, Thomas,” you laughed, “I like you.”
“Oh.”
Throwing out the dirty bandage, you pushed yourself to a stand, dusting off your hands. “Now, get some sleep. You need it.” You turned to leave at that.
“Wait!” You paused, glancing over your shoulder at Thomas. His cheeks were red. “Well, I… I like you too.”
“Oh, that was obvious.”
“W-What?”
“Get some sleep, Tommy!”
