– thor may be peter’s favourite avenger, but bruce is his favourite scientist
– peter remembers gazing up at the picture of bruce in his science classroom after reading his papers on gamma radiation in awe
– he always hoped one day he would get to meet such an amazing scientist
– when he finally meets thor and bruce he was just about ready to faint
– thor and bruce understood about 20% of what peter had said as he tried to compliment both of them at the same time at the pace of a race car
– he turned bright red when thor eventually placed a hand on his arm and told him to slow down with a soft smile
– (because we all know peter has had a fat ass crush on thor since the avengers became public knowledge)
– since then peter loved to spend as much time with thor and bruce as he could when he was at the avengers compound
– he would ‘train’ with thor
– (he had made thor promise to not go easy on him but he knew it was more play fighting than actual training)
– and he would go down to bruce and tony’s lab, either to observe or help out with the experiments tony allowed him to take part in
– on the occasion that peter found bruce not engrossed in his work he would pull out his homework, he didn’t really need the help but he enjoyed discussing the science together
– when peter found out they were a couple he became their #1 fanboy
– he would always ask to take pictures with them which he would send to ned, who was probably their #2 fanboy
– tony didn’t quite understand why peter was so engrossed in a relationship that peter wasn’t a part of, but he was happy to let the boy find happiness anywhere he could
– so tony would listen and smile along when peter ranted and raved about how cute they were
– thor and bruce knew full well how exciting their relationship was to peter, and they would sometimes act extra sappy with each other just because they knew it would make their little spider friend happy
– after all the avengers wanted nothing more than to keep that little smile upon peter’s face
man Thor really seen it all: his father’s death, his brother’s death, his planet’s destruction, hulk’s dick, his best friend’s death, his avengers friends deaths
n*tasha: (kisses bruce and then shoves him off a cliff, hoping that his fear of falling to his death will bring the hulk out)
bruce: (hulks out because he’s terrified of dying)
thor: hey uh…i’d appreciate it if the hulk could help me save my entire civilization. oh…? you’re not comfortable with that?? okay, i understand, there are other ways that you can help us.
bruce: (sees that the situation is next to hopeless without hulk, and changes willingly in order to protect thor and his people)
Hmmmmmmm. It’s almost as if Nat sees Bruce as a tool/ monster while Thor sees Bruce, no matter what, as a friend 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Also: Natasha can “calm” the Hulk just as easily as she can provoke him, effectively giving her complete control over Bruce’s transformations. Which is something not even Bruce can do a good deal of the time. She only allows him to be angry when it benefits her, effectively making him bottle up his anger when it isn’t convenient. Considering that Bruce’s anger issues most definitely stems from being an abuse survivor, this power imbalance becomes even more unhealthy and manipulative.
Thor, however, actually sits down and talks to the Hulk and lets him express how he’s feeling, even trying to recruit him when most others would only consider talking to Bruce. He stops the Hulk when he goes too far or tries to keep him contained when he could threaten their safety, but generally he treats him with respect.
In Natasha’s eyes, Hulk is a monster that has to be controlled, like her. In Thor’s eyes, Hulk is a powerful, yet brash man, like him.
the avengers: hey, we’re really happy for you guys being married and all, but…..thor, you didn’t–you couldn’t have…you didn’t fuck the hulk, did you???

the avengers, visibly shaken and growing paler by the second: bruce….he didn’t…tell us he didn’t….
