ahh, he’s a rarity in this fandom! Nice choice! (since you didn’t specify, I’ll just write some general/relationship type headcanons. Hope that’s alright!)
Yukio Hans Vorarlberna:
~ Yukio is pretty stoic a lot of the time. Well, maybe stoic isn’t really the right word. He’s usually just too focused on his games to express much of anything. He’s quite tough to be around if you’re the type who likes to hold a conversation and actually be listened to, because half the time he’ll zone out mid-way through the first sentence.
~ He is, however, the kind of guy who enjoys subtle physical contact, i.e. hand holding, having you lean against his shoulder, laying his head in your lap (and vice versa, but that only happens in private.) He’ll make a comment nearly every time, but it’s all in good fun. He’s a loner who doesn’t know how to deal with this kind of thing. Be patient with him. He’ll warm up to you eventually.
~ He practically lives on gas station/take-out meals. If you ever cook up a homemade meal and happen to bring him any leftovers, he’ll scarf it down like a man starved, all while mumbling subtle compliments. Sure, he’s got the money for some decent meals, but he rarely splurges on food. Most of his money goes toward Xcution. Besides, a nice, warm meal made by his s/o is priceless. More often than not, he’ll find himself asking you to cook for him. (his favorite dish is egg rolls)
~ He tries not to talk about Xcution. One, he’s worried you might get too curious and end up in a bad situation. Tsukishima’s not the most trustworthy man in the world, you know? Two, he just doesn’t think it necessary. As long as you’re content with whatever job he can come up with, he’ll push the subject to the backburner. You’re better off not knowing, anyway.
~ Anniversaries and birthdays are… an experience. If you’ve been in a relationship long enough, you’re bound to be spoiled, but only on special occasions. As aloof as he can be, he pays close attention to the things you like and he tends to go overboard when holidays come around. You almost need a dump truck to help get stuff back to your place. It’s as annoying as it is heartwarming.
~ Let Him Nuzzle. One of Yukio’s favorite things that keeps him close to you is nuzzling close to your neck, burying his nose in your hair and inhaling your scent. It’s how he gets himself to relax. Your warm, soft skin and sweet smelling hair just calm him down after a long day out. It’s not a bad deal for you, either.
